Greetings all, I’m the next
Lionhead Blogger being added to the LH community website, and maybe the first
specifically working on Fable 2. The name’s Mike West and I’m the Lead Scripter
(And part time Senior Designer), which means my fabulous team of eleven are the
guys who put all the quests (to us, scripts) in the game for all your lucky
people to play!
My day generally consists of
arguing with the Dark One, Mr Dene Carter (Creative Director, currently on
holiday somewhere) about story, the Secretive American, Mr X (Lead Designer,
currently talking loudly in the office somewhere) about gameplay decisions,
Grand Vizier, Sir Peter Molyneux (High Overlord, currently plotting world
domination) about love, dogs & death (But not all at the same time)
and any other poor soul who is holding up anyone in my team from getting
any of the quests implemented.
This means out of the team I’m
one of the guys on the team who know most of what Fable 2 is and rather annoyingly
means I also am probably the guy who has the tightest gag order on this
website!
Still, I shall do my best to
introduce you all to the wonderful world of scripting, what we do, how it’s
going, and maybe, if I knock Sam out (shouldn’t be very difficult) a little
tidbit of Fable 2 information here and there.
