Ok so 2008 has only just started - but Gamesradar has been so kind to already award Fable 2 with the "BEST RPG 2008" award!

"(...) in the spirit of giving, and giving awards, which is so popular this time of year, we present The Preemptive 2008 Game Awards. That’s right, we’re awarding this year’s best games in advance, and at the end of the year we’ll simply pretend to have forgotten that we ever wrote this article so that we can give out the real 2008 awards."

You can find out which game came second and third by checking out this page, oh and make sure you pay attention to the other awards as well.

I'm actually more excited for F2 than I was for H3 because for H3 all I wanted was to see Master Chief finish the fight but for F2 there isn't a thing I'm not excited about. The gameplay was awesome, the graphics were beautiful, and the storyline was not particularly creative but worked very well nonetheless. Lionhead did a wonderful job on it and seeing all the the hardwork and dedication from the team back at Lionhead to the hardcore dedication of the fans. lionhead deserves this award and hopefully this will up sales and encourage the fable 2 team to put everything they can dream of into fable 2!
