This blog could start about GTA IV and how Fable 2 is now delayed due to all the developers calling in sick because Liberty City is calling their name. Only kidding of course, we are fully focussed and in full crunch...

As I mentioned in an earlier blog entry this week Lionhead Video Diary Six is finished and I'm submitting it to the lovely Microsoft people (the ones who control Xbox Live Marketplace) so that we can get it out in time. Don't expect it to come out this week and just to be on the safe side not even next week. I've learned my lesson and have decided I'm no longer telling you a date when it'll arrive, rest assured it's processing and will be out pretty soon. In case you are not familiar with the diaries, you can see all of them here.

Development of Fable 2 is going strong, it's not without pain (obviously) but man (and woman) this game looks G o o d [Good]. I've been playing it a lot, mostly with Dene and Peter during their playthrough design meetings, what a life! Playing Fable 2 during the day in the office, GTA IV in the evening at home.

Tomorrow I need to go to the hospital to have my wisdom teeth removed, needless to say I'm nervous like a rabbit on steroids.

To end with a bit of G o o d [Good] news, here is a brand new screenshot of Fable 2, taken only a couple of days ago. Can you dig it?

I think that that is the memorial garden in Oakvale, not Lychfield, due to the buildings in the background.  Anyway, nice to hear about the diary.  I got off with my wisdom teeth, just have to get them sealed this summer.

G o o d [Good] luck with your wisdom teeth! Are they pulling all four? They did that to me, even though two of them hadn't come in yet.  I'm also glad to hear that no one is taking off for the week or so to play GTA IV. I've had a lot of fun with it.

Don't worry about the wisdom teeth. I just slept for eight hours after getting home and they'd stopped bleeding by the time I woke up. I also got the gas so I wouldn't be awake while they pulled them, and that was pretty freaky. Talking to a nice nurse lady, carrying on a normal conversation only to finish a sentence, realize I was talking to a different person, in a different room and with cotton packed in the backs of my jaw.

Take it easy man, and drink some slushies (sans straw) afterwards. Too much suction can open the incisions back up again, but the ice helps numb the pain, as does the alcohol that invariably ends up in there as well.

Take a couple of nurofen an hour or so before you and you should be fine. And get some bonjela.

I had mine out 2 years (right) and one year ago (left) and I still get [i]massive[/i] pain from them both because they drilled the tooth to shatter it, then remove the pieces. Unfortunately they left several shards in my right side, and I can feel my gum trying to  reject them and push them out......

how funny! i just had my teeth of wisdom yanked 2 days ago. guy took a thing like a screwdriver, pried at them, then used teeth pliers to finish the job. the worst part was not smoking for a full day =(  and... i got bloodstains on my discworld tshirt. oh yeah cant drink beer yet cause i can get a yeast infection in my mouth. theres a sixer of theakstons taunting me in the fridge right now. cheers

might i just say that its nice fable 2 will be darker than the first.  poe is a great writer along with dostoyevski(sp?) and mister faulkner and mister salinger...and they are all on the darker side of the spectrum, enjoyably morose if you will.  so recognizing that life isnt all butterflies rose bushes and lollypops is refreshing in an already excellent game.  keep the news a-comin'!

Might be a little late now, but you should be able to lose fingers, toes, body parts just like getting scars.. u must protect yourself, and lose a leg and the game is pretty much over... maybe not to the extent of a leg but there should be a game where u can lose body parts like eyes to make your own character unique.. just like different scars in original fable. take it to the next lvl. lol

Very nice picture, it looks like Lychfeild in fable 2 just a little changed around-you can't expect nothing to change in 500 years.
