New site! SWEET!!! Its pretty to  have a new community/Fable 2 site.

Cant wait to read up on the new lore.

New site doesn't work for me. I just get a huge page with errors and random code and stuff that's basically Greek to me.

If you get errors then I think this is because you're using an out of date web browser, failing that, you'll have to wait 'till the morning when the engineers come in to fix it.

alright yeh sam im having the same issues.... but also i was wondering if silver light is only for microsoft i have mac...

I already have silver light installed. Should I do it again?

I had the error problem too. but then i saw when you finish downloading silver you need to restart your browser. meaning close out of it maybe a few times if it doesnt work right the first closing. so the out of date browser theory is a bust because ive got firefox 3. and it works for my brother's mac just fine

so all is well for me now i hope this helps.

I've tried this on several browsers now and it doesn't work...  In fact, none of the "www.lionhead.com/..." sites work for me right now.  I know they can because I've visited the site before.

OK, never mind my last comment.  Anyone who can't see the site, upgrade to Silverlight 2 Beta 2.  Worked for me.

I installed SilverLight 2 and went to the website. All was untill I clicked of Tales of Albion and a new screen opened telling me to install SilverLight 2 AGAIN so I did reinstall SilverLight and refreshed the page and guess what??? It told me to install SilverLight 2 AGAIN

There is clothing (gloves, hats, coats, ...), jewelry, make-up, hair cuts and facial hair. You can make some pretty cool characters too.

Dang, I really wish it didn't use Silverlight becuase I run Linux and of course Moonlight, the Linux version which is in the works, isn't out yet.  Is there any chance of somebody possibly making a .txt version of this for people having trouble viewing it as I am?

Now that's what I call backstory. It's really cool to see some of the stuff that we knew about back in 2002 in a bigger, much clearer context. Of course things may and probably have changed, but still very, very cool indeed.

I'm really impressed with this feature "Tales Of Albion" me being a fan-fiction writer, I really appreciate, seeing LH's official history of Albion.

I know the Old Kingdom, and the fall of Heroes, and travels in today’s Albion is included. But really so much more could be implemented, such as:

I can't really think of much more lore, or characters or stories I'd like to hear about but if I do I'll let you guys at LH know. Keep working hard, sorry if the list was long and boring but there’s a lot you can write about on the world of Albion, and that list is only what I seen in F1/TLC

The new site is great!! only one problem though... i cant get tales of albion to work at the moment. i downloaded and installed silverlight 2 beta 2 and all i get when i load the tales of albion screen is a blank page. im currently on a mac, using safari and have tried the same webpage on mozilla firefox 3 with silverlight as well and all i get is a blank page there too! from the ecstatic comments of others i know that this new feature is great but i really hope that u dev people can get it working for everyone else!

I must say that Fragments of the Old Kingdom was excellently done. I like the foreshadowing of a storyline that I'm asuming will continue in the next two and or in the game. Seems like the three parts are going to be; Pre-Fable, between Fable and Fable 2 and present day Fable 2

Very well written although I find that mention of Nostro who encased the Archon in golden armor and such slightly confusing, might've been an error ;P And I'm on Orakaius's side here, all those things are awesome things to read lore about. Things I keep wondering about, like the Solus Greatsword etc. Anyway, great job makes the wait that little bit easier, tho it is still very hard on me.

Half the stuff was from books, tattoe describtions, weapon describtions, etc. So you wont of heard of all of it unless your a serious fable freak........like me!

Anywho when and how often will tales of albion be updated?

I just wanted to comment on what I believe may have been a mistake-  It said that Nostro put the armor and cloak on the first Archon before he disappeared, but Nostro was said to be a distant descendant of the Archon, born long after he vanished.

This maybe a *SPOILER**SPOILER* *SPOILER*but it seems to me that the first Archon is Scythe and William Black!!! It references to his blue cloak and gold armor twice. Thats how Nostro was able to put the armor on Archon. It also says that the first Archon was affected by a decaying illness. Maze says(TLC) that Scythe was once a great hero but hes nothing now in his weakend shell. On top of that it may explain how Scythe a.k.a. Archon a.k.a. William Black was able to survive over the millenia. Maybe William Black was able to keep himself alive due to his remarkable Will powers or maybe the Void affected him somehow. Scythe would want to help Nostro and help make up for his own mistakes. Feedback anyone?!

I agree with sight's theory, but other than that nice looking site. Didn't even need to reset my browser after install just click the back button... Anyway, are we gonna get a sneak peak at clothing and weapons? (only the store bought ones of course, unless you wanna show us them all )

This is a awesome addition to the site i enjoyed reading the books in fable  hopefully you will put those in here 2 they were really interesting and had awesome story's

About the dog can you give him wepons and armore like the charachter. I think its only fair that if you are fighting along side him he should have somthing to fight with.

Hello I am new And I have Fable 1 and I loved it the first day I played it.

So in fable 2 will it be just like fable, were u get strenght xp and ur guy will like grow really big and huge like a guy on steriods, and if ur ur guy will have horns on his head? cause i was watching the videos and the people were small an skinny i was just wondering if ur guy will grow to be big and huge like in fable? so if anybody knows please answer me i really wanna know

Ive only read  the first tab "Fragments of the Old Kingdom"
and i think u should check the 4th link/trigger thing titaled "rise of Albion"
because on the bottom of the second paragraph it says
"NOSTRO wrapped his body in golden male....." but i think it is meant to be ARCHON
not NOSTRO. u should try to change it if u can still. It was Uber confusing and took me a while to figure out

PS. u if u get aroung to changing that then u should check Tab #10 where is says that nostro fell for Magdalena and change it to Magdalena Grey... it would make more sence that way.

Yes I do think you do get horns when you get e and I here you also beacome a giant demon and you only get 1 weapon a giant stick.  Yes you also get magic.

the rely cool thing is that if you play CO-OP play and 1 is a m. and 1 is a f.m. then you 2 can get maried and get kids.

looks very pretty but have u guys ever considered putting some basic
animations into the character if he or she doesnt move for a few seconds
eg. srcatching head or pulling shirt cuffs or streching or what not?
because in the demos the character looks very stagnent when it stands still
i believe u had them in f1 and i know for a fact that they have them in
the new tomb raider....

I noticed the new and ancient geography is different from fable 1's...

in my opinion, i think that might be because after the destruction of the old kingdom, the world became slightly less educated, and more primitive (due to the facts that only those outside the walls survived)

After downloading/installing Silverlight (2 not 1.) make shure to quit all of your browser windows you may have running.
