wow i must say this game really does look like its going to be the game to play. really looking forward to it now. trailers and such look great, game is as i though it should be and i must say i am very happy that finally this 1 will be co-op not only on live but in your living room as well...great for us who rather not sit alone. cant wait

WOOHOO Fable 2 is ready!!!!!!!! October is gonna be a golden month. A lot of rainy days which gives us the chance to play Fable 2 like crazy....

This autumn is going to be the golden age for the 360 With the new dashboard, the avatars, the live party and all that. Oh..wait..i forgot. Fable 2 is coming out at the same time!

The E3 2008 trailer was so great. Especially the scene were the hero is being cast out of the castle. It really shows whats being taken away from him.

I can see myself playng this game, non-stop, until christmas.

lol like the Covenant being a playable faction in Halo Wars and like Gears getting a sequel we knew this was going to happen all along!! We're a smart people!!  ; )

also idk if announcing online co-op was that big of an announcement... i mean i know it was hinted at but come on... fable 2 is going to be one of the greatest games released on xbox 360 to date... there is no way it wouldn't feature online co-op.

ANYWAY fable 2 is so close to release date anyway i doubt if there is anything that is absolutely mouth dropping that they could say about the game without giving away some really kewl surprises that we'll get to experience within the game

Bug in G4 play?

Okay, the game looks great and I plan to buy it. Just wanted to make that clear. This sounds nit picky, but I came to the forum to ask if anyone else noticed the character models in the G4 game-play, when landing on a sloped part of the road, loose half of their model under the road?

Meaning, the body would land on the slope flat, as if the road was flat, causing the half of their model going into the hill and disappearing under the plane of the road. This is a bug, and not a game-killer, but I can see it driving me bonkers while I'm playing the whole game. As I'm sure their QA has seen it, has there been any statement as to whether they still have time to fix it?

i know i really shouldnt listen to gamespot over the original may release date fiasco but according to them its coming out on the 17th october.

i cant find any trailers for fable 2 except for the one with the little girl and the finger thing. can someone help me out?

Peter said that Fable 2 was finished but why not release it now ? There are so many other games coming out around october/noveber that Fable 2 might get lost in the frenzy for Gears of War 2. So whay not relese it now ? Are there still bugs to be squashed ?

They are still working out bugs of course. Polish, polish, polish. But from the videos and all that can be seen everything is looking great. I can't wait to see more as the week progresses.

Was that the new feature? Because I didnt think it would be about co-op based on past videos with PM talking abut couch co-op

I've been waiting for it for a while.
I believe the reason they postponed it till Octobers is so they can fix all the bugs. I think when Peter said the game was complete he meant the core game is complete.

Cool online co-op (as if we didn't already know) shame I'm a loner =p.
Its also a shame I probably won't have enough money when it first comes out so I'll just have to wait a bit longer, although birthday is also in september =D.

I like the idea about seeing your friends as orbs and being able to pop into their game to see what their world looks like according to the choices they made. But I have a question and maybe its been mentioned but I haven't seen it......if you pop into someones game....what happens to your game? Does it just pause and wait for you to come back and restart you right where you left off? I'd hate to be in the middle of a quest, pop out for a bit into my friends game to help them out with something to come back into my game to find I have to start clear back at my last save point. Can anyone shed some light on this question?

after E3  is over will the demo be on xbox live so we can see what its like our selves ?

alexisrose i dont know but i think it would put u back to the last save point if u are in a quest u will have to tell your friend to wait thats what i would do lol . : |

Wow, the demo on IGN and game spot were amazing! I thought Fable was a great game; but fable 2 is going to set the bar for RPG's (again). You guys deserve a pat on the back for what you have done. Enjoy the rest of your time in LA - awesome job lionhead studios, Awesome job...

The Co op is pretty awesome. I watched the E3 08 Live on G4 and the jump in, jump out co op is probably the sweetest Feature of Fable 2, with the exception of it already being totally awesome.

I'm gonna say it wasn't worth the wait. Hopefully when Sam comes to burn down my house he'll be carrying Fable 2 on his person >.>
