With E3 come and gone, we'll be taking a look at some of the coverage that's been finding its way onto the interwebs. Legions of journalists were set free on Fable II last week which is bound to bring forth coverage and so we seh...
First up is a hands-on preview from Shacknews, Fable 2 Preview: Condoms, Combat, Domestic Abuse taking a look at the other things in the game.
"Suffice it to say, I had a lot of fun with Fable 2. It was enjoyable to just play around and explore with no real incentive in mind. It was fun, and surprisingly easy, to kill guards for trying to take my lunch money. And the way my dog would stay by my side and look at me like I was awesome, regardless of my slap-happy approach to woman and children, was both adorable and horrifying."
GameInformer brings you Fable 2 Updated Impressions, stating that "While the public seems to be eyeing Gears of War 2 as their next huge title, Fable 2 is looking more and more like it could steal the show."
Gamespot doesn't bring you just a single preview, they've got three! Firstly, E3 2008: Fable 2 Impressions, next up is a Fable II Show-Floor Demo Hands-On and finally they take a closer look at Fable II Impressions - Meet the Bard. "Fable II is currently scheduled for release in October and, in case you haven't guessed, we're just a little excited for it. We look forward to bringing you more information on the game in future."
Meanwhile, gaming site IGN brings also a couple of previews and articles on the game, first up a nice Fable II Hands-on (which I am not linking because it has spoilers: AVOID!) and then they get Fable 2 Down and Dirty where they investigate the seedy side of Albion. "Fable II is indeed coming in October. Lionhead is not missing that date. And, from what we've played at E3, it's going to be worth the wait."
Finally, 1UP also published a hands-on preview with our little baby Fable 2, which can be found at this link. "Peter's a great storyteller. He's often criticized for all of the hype he speaks and his inability to deliver on it. This is one of those cases, though, where it really may be justified."
There is a lot more to read and watch, ranging from videos to trailers, screenshots and art. This however should keep you going for a couple of hours, if you haven't read this yet that is...
