I got my pub codes so job we appreciate the faith.

I can see why there was so much confusion, with all the fans of Fable 2, they probably wanted to get the pub games, plus they probably wanted to have a advantage when starting the game. Thanks for making Fable 2!

I got my pub game card from gamestop in Kansas... now i may sound like a total noob here but i plugged in the code cause i thought u could still download the games just not play them yet. Tell me that that is not true because when i did plug in my code it said that it wasn't a valid code. I hope that i just have to wait until the 13th

Yeah i noticed there where some problems.... But the main problem for me is that only one store in holland sells the LE and I don't know the store so

dose an one know if i should  wait until the 13th to punch in my code
also dose any one know if it will be down loadable at 12:01 tonight

I pre-ordered fable 2 limited edition at gamestop on the internet and have not resived my pubgames code yet. Do i have to go to the store to get it or sould they email it because the closest gamestop is an hour away from where i live. please help....

Well tomorow I am pre-ordering my Fable 2 LE and if the store I pre-order from (Best Buy) doesn't know anything about the pub games code then I'll just buy some microsoft points haha.

I doubt you can enter the code in until they appear on Xbox live, until then I'm sure they will probably come back saying not valid since its not up yet. I don't have my code yet, I'm still waiting.

I was able to get a code but I have not been able to use the code. Is there some kind of authentication server that is down? I worked with Microsoft for the past three hours to find out that their answer was to wait 24 hours and try again.

i would imagine u have to wait until the games are actually out in the marketplace then it will work... if the 13th comes and my code is invalid then i'll get hot lol... but im sure it will all work out

For anybody living in Canada, I had called Electronic Boutique (EB Games) and the guy told me that an email from Microsoft had been received. The codes are not at the store yet and he suggested that I contact the store that I reserved it at early next week and get the code from them.  They could be at the store by Friday, but I think that early next week is better.

to know the cries haven't gone unheard. I know LH is doing their best to sort this situation out, and I hope it all works out well for UK gamers.

My ma pre-ordered fable 2 limited edition from GAME but i am confused about how i can download the pub games. Was i meant to get something in-store? Best Buy didn't have it so I stopped at GameStop and got the Code and my Pre-Order. I can't wait until this is all cleared up.

i think they should just make it free for the firs 48/H this would make alot of people happy, i live in canada and i hear we are not getting any codes

I thought about reserving online, but I had a feeling there would be some problems, so I just walked into GameStop today, and pre-ordered it there, and I'm gunna put the code in tommorrow... I hope everyone gets things worked out...

damnit i knew there was going to have problems. i still havent gotten my code from amazon which sux but i'll just have to wait till tomorrow.......

a couple hours ago, (now yesterday since its 1am) i pre-ordered the LE from Gamestop, and they gave me a code.

its now "officially" released, but since XBL hasn't updated, i can't use it...

well, tomorrow i can try again.. i'm off to bed...

it is now 12:11am here in Kansas... and i have tried my code like 5 times now and its not working LOL i hope when i wake up tomorrow it works haha im all anxious ive been waiting for this for to long... its feel likes 2 or 3 yrs now hell it maybe 2 or 3 yrs lol....

I think the New Zealand participating retailer thinks that the codes are given to people who order the limited edition only and not the normal version as well.

I am somewhat glad that I'm not the only one with this problem... I did receive my pre-order code for the pub games and like the others, upon entering it I receive "Code Not Valid." "This code is not valid. Please enter a valid code." I did attempt to use it two nights ago when the codes were first being given out and I received that prompt there as well. I don't see how using it prematurely could immediately invalidate my code. Also, currently Pub Games is released on Xbox Live and I have downloaded the trial and still my code is "invalid." I am so anxious to actually play the whole thing!!! This is so frustrating!!!

Yeah I'm really annoyed that these activation codes aren't working. It's now 8 o clock where i am and still saying the code is invalid. Better be fixed sometime today.

I can confirm that PLAY.COM are not participating (at least not yet) because they have not sent me my pub codes (yet).

yea its 7:31am here in Kansas and my code still doesnt work I DO see the games available for download however.... ONCE AGAIN leave it to microsoft to screw things up. I hope lionhead understands that my anger is in no way directed at them... this is a HUGE microsoft mistake...

Well I went to Best Buy as as far as they know they are not participating. So I went to GameStop and got a code. This morning I type it in and it says it's invalid . I checked it at least a dozen times I typed it correctly. I got a bum code go figure.

I cancelled Game.co.uk's Pre order and went with Gamestation instead, they didnt send me a code, so i though "Stuff them, ill just cancel that and go with Play.com!" that way i know ill get it on time!

not like it matters if you get your code on time or not ... its obvious microsoft has F^CKED everyone and no one is able to redeem anything yet... however if you u drop the ms points right now you can download it... idk why i spend so much time defending that d@mn company to people when they bring it upon themselves .... i <3 lionhead

i just called xbox live support and they SAID it was a known issue idk if i was just bein fed a line of bullsh*t or not... HOWEVER she said she couldn't really help me unless i had me redeem card. Since im at work i didn't have it so i'll call them back later... so yeah redeem codes not working is apparently a known issue.

I'm canadian, and how are you supposed to get this code? I pre-ordered it, and do I wait for an e-mail? or do I call directly, the place I got it from is EBgames, and that's a long drive from where I live...Help? My Gamer Tag is Cannibalistyk, and I think I am "Out of the loop."

That probably means that EBGames is out of the list now, cause the guy at the store looked at me like I was an alien when i said about Pub-Games and Fable in the same sentence.

i don't know what everyone is complaining about.  i got access to LIVE at 10 am on the 13th and i had no problem with entering my code.  i actually received two codes, one from quickly walking into a gamestop and preordering, then later in the day refunding the preorder and by preordering the game online through gamestop.  i called gamestop, spent like 5 min on hold, they said they would get a activation code out to me, via email and within 4 or 5 hours they did.  and this was done all on the 12th.  

i don't know the situation in the UK, but maybe calling the actual stores customer support, you might get somewhere.  

thanks a bunch peter, all you had to do was ask a couple of stores to participate and put up a list on the FRONT PAGE of participating retailers...instead i pre-order my game on the 11th and wait for my code. I thought i would get my code before the game was released, but no... on the 13th the day pub games came out on xbl?...no.....on the 15th after i double checked and it said they would send it on the 15th?...no. I'm still waiting and its not that i'm impatient, but i just know that i'm not going to get a code and i'm going to have to buy it anyway when i could have just bought it from the start...the only reason i pre-ordered the limited edition was for pub games. thanks again for another beaautiful f****ng letdown...

Yeah, GameStop is deciding to say they have run out of the codes for preordering Fable 2; so even though I HAVE already preordered they haven't given me a code yet.... I never have a problem with them, and one of my best friends work there, and he said he didn't hear anything about them being out of codes....

I didn't even know that there was a pre order code I just purchased the pub games right off of Xbox market place. I wish gamestop would have let me know I ore ordered the limited addition
