Awesome... I just got my copy of the game and can't play it until tonight, but I'm looking forward to playing and praying to the Heroes that I don't encounter any bugs.

I don't have any friends, so the co-op bug shouldn't be a problem for me

Are you guys going to open a bug forum?  I hope so cause it would be really helpful to post the bugs I have found.  Posting in the normal forums just lets posts get lost with all the flaming going on right now.

And what of the pacified bloodstone glitch?

Well thats one of the issues.  But there are also some of us who went to talk to the Abbot, then was told to go and build more renown and upon returning after gaining the required renown, found that a Monk is standing in the doorway blocking the way to the Abbot.  There is no way around him, he is completely unresponsive and invinsible.  I was just curious if you guys had a solution or were at least looking into that as a known bug.

I have _extremely_ slow menus, slowdowns when opening menus, freezing when opening menus... WTF did you do to the freaking menus?!

What is going on on the Fable II Lionhead Community Forums? I was following up on a [BUG LIST - Updating] Topic, and now I just keep getting a page error any time I refresh/forum jump... Is your site as badly bugged as your game?! This is RIDICULOUS! I didn't pay almost 75 dollars on a game just to find out all of my hard work will get LOST because of a WAY too early release...

Looking at the scope of Fable II, you guys did a great job in fixing most of the bugs. However, like you mentioned, some do manage to make it in the packaged game,  when you have a dev team taking regular dosages of highly cafinated coffee and drinks, and staying up 16-18 hours a night, sometimes getting no sleep, to ensure that all the bugs get fixed. So I guess it's OK if some slip :-P. Unfortunately, even though the dev team has worked very hard, they get ultimately punished by angry fans if a few bugs get in. I hope there's a patch soon though, and keep of the work!

havn't seen a major bug yet. Just small things like standing next to things that you can interact with, but the A button doesn't work until you stand directly in front of it.

I'm having a lot of fun so far. Hope you guys get some time off now after the release.

I think we all have it really lucky because any bugs in the game, CAN and WILL be patched - it's not like ten years ago when a game was written to cartridge and that was the end of it.

To all those people moaning, I know you're disapointed - why not put the game away, wait a week or so for a patch for the problems and start again when the patch comes out.

Afterall... it's just a game. Nothing more.

Can you also fix the issue with the quest Rescue Charlie? It is really annoying when you can't use (A) after it.

I experienced a few bugs in the first few minues but since then the game has been as flawless as would be expected.

That's not something to be proud of, that indicates lazy code. Congratulations on having a game that shouldn't be on shelves at the moment.

Zevanzor that is how game development works. Every game ever created faces bugs during development, the bigger the project the more bugs.

If there really looking at the forums, then why the hell wont they address the freezing issue so many of us are having.  Its not just a game, its $60 of my hard earned money thats just sitting on the shelf, and as far as i can tell they have no plans on fixing this problem.  I wouldnt really care about a few bugs, but when the game freezes before it even shows the Fable 2 menu is a lil too much for me.

Can't you tell us when to expect a fix to all these issues and more importantly, whether its worth waiting for fixes to broken games or give up and start again?

It seems kinda stupid how bugs that are easily noticed slip through.

I just hope the can fix all the biugs and have plenty of (not too expensive) DLC

Hey Lionhead team got my copy of fable 2 and all i can say is wow it is truly amazing some of the stuff you have come up with is very clever (obviously) also thanks Sam the bonus DVD was really cool loved the developer diaries and the hobbs adventure.

By the way fixing 65,000 bugs on the game is a real achievement and to be honest at least you are listening to people and making a difference to make the game better.

So sick of cry babies downing this game. Im sure 90% of them are full of crap and just being asses. I have played through Fable 3 times now and I have yet to experience anyt major glitches.

But PLZ PLZ PLZ give us our own camera control for co-op online!!!!

What about the glitch in the Crucible where you can't get the chest. I believe this happens once you beat the game. Sorry to say but did anyone even beta test the game? I alone have found way too many glitches on one play thru.

Well I just hope Lionhead get's around to fixing that MAJOR game stopper freezing bug that I and many other people are suffering with, I mean HONESTLY, I've never experienced a console game that freezes at the same point EVERY time I attempt to play it, thankfully it happens right at the beginning of the game so I haven't wasted much play time.  Lionhead really need to make this a priority as it renders the game unplayable.  With so many triple A games being launched at this time I might just have to exchange it for a game that actually works.

I just hope the bug gets fixed whereas if you start your game. Then add the LE bonus dlc code, and have already opened the chest in the guild cave, you cant get the halo armour

I'm really amazed - though not surprised - about all the Lionhead bashing going around in these comments and in the forums.  You'd think by the tone of the (loud) majority that before Fable 2, every other game in video-game history had been released flawlessly and never-a-patch had there been released.  I'm one of the folks out there who's fallen victim to the Unresponsive-Abbot glitch and have to figure out how I'm going to get my vast coin purse and Pub-game items from that character to the new one I've started.  But I'm not demanding the head of Molyneux and the other Lionhead developers because of it.  Sh!t happens, even in video games and ultimately I'm in absolute love with Fable 2.  All in all it's blown to hell every expectation of awesomeness I had for that game.  

Hopefully a patch(es) will be arriving soon, but in the mean time I'm still going to play the hell out of F2.

PS.  I'd like to point out to Sam and Lionhead however, that even in the presence of bugs and glitches, a lot of headache could have been avoided on the part of the gamers had there been a multiple-save-slot feature implemented.  You know, the thing that was present in Fable 1 and TLC.  In most games I make a habit of saving in multiple locations just in case I - or the game - screws something up I can always revert to a previous "safe" save game.

PSS.  Did I mention I freakin' love this game?  I did?  Okay, just making sure. =P

Hey sam. Can you please tell me if the fable 2 bloodstone glitch will be fixed (Im sure you have heard about it already since you guys read the forums) its a real pain in the butt...

It would be really nice to have this fixed considering I have been playing this game for a while and bought the L.E. I really have enjoyed the game up to here... and its just really awful that such an amazing game could have bugs like this.

I am experiencing the glitch with the spire!!! Where you can`t deposit your weapons and can`t really do anything to interact and keep going so your game is useless... I'd like to know if there is a solution or if it`s another bug... I mean it says go to the docks when ready so I adventured a bit, and as far as I've read so have others, and this problem is recurrent. Any suggestions Lionhead?!! And yes I preordered my company and was starting to love the game but this spoiled it and I thought even though the story was shorter, Fable rocked in comparaison (few glitches) and I would like a patch as quickly as possible as so to not lose my character and stats...

I have the Bloodstone glitch as well. I can do everything with the A,B,X,Y buttons except for attacking, talking, using spells, and shooting. Its extrememly annoying. Also, it tells me to get 11000 more renown to talk to the Hero of Skill, and I've gotten atleast 7,000 and it still says I need to get 11,000. this is really annoying because its the part of the game where that warp thing screws up so i can't leave this island or whatever it is that I am on. I am 100 percent stuck here with nothing to do. NOTHING! except dance around and to the expressions. I bought the L.E. and was not expecting to have such a big problem with this. Lionhead you need to send a patch out now otherwise people are going to want a refund like me!

Im kind of tired of the people who have coppies saying that the people with glitched ones are just making up crap.  Seriously Lionhead even admitted that the abbot glitch and co-op glitch are real so how can you say that I'm making up that my game freezes every 5-20 minutes?  Need me to post a freakin video on youtube for you to watch to prove it?  If you have a copy congratulations Lionhead even made a forum for you its called "Fable 2 Choice and Adventures."  But some people do have game ending glitches and stating that your copy works fine isn't helping its just making a post that a dev has to look over when there looking for posts about a problem.  This is pretty much a reply to Killinspree420 cause cause what he said about 90% of people with major glitches B.Sing and on top of that having a copy and asking for the camora to be changed is just plain selfish.

You can walk right? Well walk to the marsh...

Once you are in the marsh you can bring up the quests/maps then you can go to another region. Thats what I did to get out of bloodstone. So for now just do quests.. kill things.. make money.. you know get more experience.. (so everything is easier later) or just mess around...

There is no freaking way I am starting this game over..

FACT: LOTS of people have reported MANY issues, and bugs are almost constantly being posted. . . anyone reading the forums could tell you that. . .no need to lie to people to cover your asses.

You people can't let lionhead make an excuse or kiss your ass. They basically said absolutely nothing. I don't give a shyt if you got rid of a million bugs pre-release, huge game-ending bugs shouldn't be handled POST-release. There's no excuse for this, and most gamers know this. The pussies just accept it. But its unexcusable. These are huge game-ending glitches here people. And a lot more than one. Not to mention they are taking way too long to release a patch.

Sam.. any updates on the Bloodstone glitch being addressed? I am one of the dozens upon dozens of people encountering the glitch, and I have very well put in a LOT of time into the game (maybe well over 40 hours, spread throughout the week of course). I am NOT restarting my game over! Thanks if you can reply, I understand you're a busy man.

I have been Extremely Fortunate in that the ONLY Bug I have experienced is the Furniture Shop problem in Bowerstone where she has No Stock; will this be addressed and Fixed Please

If you become somebody's henchman before they can cast spells it takes away all your info.

so just don't become their henchman until after they get out into the game and past the earning your will stuff

Black screens of death appear when you corrupt your save file.

I was about to accept the Hero of Will quest when I saved my game, and I never managed to continue my save ever again.

Not to mention that if I restart I will not have any of the huge amounts of money I had in pub games.... F you lionhead!

And you too sam, your entire community blows. The devs don't seem to give a *** about any of our problems. I can't believe the game has been out for this long and there's still such an insane amount of bugs... Lionhead blows and so does this glitchy ass game!

What would be really nice is if they would put regular updates on how far along the patches are in the news section instead of going in some of the posts and saying stuff.

I would like to hear from anyone who has heard any news or a fix or workaround for the bug with the Love hurts quest, I have read hundreds of posts and the only thing that as yet will sort this is to delete all content and start again and that seriously sucks!  I have tried for about 10 hours to 'work around' the problem but it is quite simply preventing me from completing the game and a number of achievements.  Has any one, dev or otherwise, got a fix for the issue of not being able to give the head to the gravedigger?  I have gone through the quest countless times, tried doing other quests and even completing the game main story but still no joy at all and I havent found anyone or any post with a response or fix to this issue that even comes close to working...

Hi, thanks guys, much appreciated. But there are a number of other glitches too. The quest to rescue charlie can also end with what people are describing as the green ring of death.

Basically, not entering the ring where charlie speaks to his grandma after the quest leaves a finish conversation ring at the top of the screen which won't go away.

The game autosaves preventing you from being able to use the A button.

There is also another major bug where characters fall off of the screen preventing you from moving from the stop where they fell off of the screen. This is right at the end.

After lots of enjoyabe playing, Westcliff is now off limits to me.  Seems I can go most anywhere else, but no matter how I get to Westcliff, the game hangs after the load screen.  Tried on different 360s and with different Fable2 disks.  Called Microsoft at 800.4MY.XBOX - that was a waste of about three hours, with holds and me having to call back.

As hugely frustrating as this is, the lack of response from MS or Lionhead compounds it.  My hang is totally reproducible on any xbox so far.  Any word on patching to fix this would be appreciated.  Please don't make us start over.  I've put a lot of time into this character and don't want to lose it.

hey um I's just wonderin LH are you guys just workin on patches for bugs or new content also? would be cool if there was an entire page on the site devoted to DLC

i noticed that in co-op, the guest can kill the society/assassination quest giver infinitely for 20 , yet the hero himself can never kill him. he keeps respawning immediately though, so no bad consequences.

please tell me you'll be fixing the unplayable bugs that has rendered my disc completely inaccessible

i can sometimes not even reach the menu let alone have any in-game freezes, odd thing is it was triggered when i'd played with my friend over xbox live so im guessing it was the co-op patch

please fix that because i hate all these fable 2 adverts coming on and me knowing i cannot play it

i can't see my friend at all but we both can see other people we even go somewhere no one is like the balcony on the bar in bowerstone and we still can see each other. we've tried joining the game from the dashboard and it always says co-op failed to connect.

is there any way Lionhead could sort out the freezing issue. mine just freezes in random places and it lags a bit even when not playing co-op or anthing. takes too long for menu to come up by which time you're nearly dead, please help???

The game ending bugs should be fixed first, the ones that prevent you from finishing the main quest, such as your family/spouse dissapearing.
