Hobbe Creature Latex Mask

Published Monday, February 23, 2009 11:53 AM by Sam

This was just brought to my attention by means of our forums. Jamie our resident Senior Artists and Sculptor is selling some of his "items" on Ebay (probably to make space in the loft). One of the items that will undoubtely be of interest to any Fable II fan is this Hobbe Creature Mask (link) in Latex that can actually be worn by the owner! Currently it's selling for £3.20 (for cheap!) but no doubt this figure will go up as we draw closer to March 1st - the closing date for the auction. It's unique, so don't expect this to be mass-produced.

Let the bidding begin!

Oh yeah, before I forget...codes for Pub Games! Here we go, another 20 of these babies...

  • All codes have been used!

That mask looks G o o d [Good]. I'm guessing there is air holes, although it doesn't specifically say.

there are enough people out there with enough money on their hands to get that price up a "little" higher...

I read the entire page Jamie created when making that mask and the other things as well.  I'm compelled to write, NICE JOB!

Dude, you took such time and care in creating that thing.  Why sell it?

I'm shocked that the one-of-a-kind mask is currently so low.  If I saw that mask at the local specialty store it would retail for somewhere around $75 to $125.  Maybe more if the retailer knew it was one-of-a-kind.  Never to be mass-produced.

Maybe should have sold it around All Hallows Eve?  In any case, keep up the GREAT work you are doing and I hope it leads you to worlds of riches.

It would be too much work for me to mass produce it. I prefer make one off items. Photo's go into my portfolio and sell the work on to someone whou would enjoy it in their home. Btw, surprised no-one has bid for my frankenstein painting. It's one of favourite pieces of art and I'm kind of sorry to see it go.

The full size mask would be cool but I really don't have the room to display it, now some smaller hobbe figurines would be cool, I think there were pics of them somewhere, or maybe in a video diary. Not talking the one that was a possible addition into the LE box, I'm talking detailed ones that were full color and very detailed.

I heard about these items yesterday, the mask would cool to have but id never be able to afford the cost and over sea shipping, but the early Bram stokers Dracula book would be of higher importance to me if id not read it yet. I wonder which will cost more in the end? probably the silly mask.

there is a famous necromancer who for some reason died, can't remember why, but he had a legendary sythe thought to be able to suck your soul out of your body. He was the same one who made the Teracoda warriers of Fable 2.....and as for "Sythe" aka William Black; the Arcon, yeah....wasn't talking about the simularities in names; if you look at the download screan they give little spoilers, and sometimes the NPC's give you spoilers to the storyline to Fable 2. I know this isn't entirely about the subject at hand Admin's, but I still want to know "whats up?", and I'm sure eveyone else is too. What are you guys up too? Let us know that your not pulling a Bungie(reference Halo 3), cause that would totally suck.....

I'm the fella that bought the Hobbe creature mask and I just wanted to say thanks Jamie. It looks great. I picked it up for my girlfriend to display in our game room. My girlfriend is a big Fable2 Fan and has slain many of those Hobbes. She's finished the game twice and I believe knothole island as well. I've got a game room with a few xbox360 networked where we play (Fable2 co-op of course). In the game room I've got a few game related helmets/busts. Master Chief, a storm trooper, etc. The hobbe creature head is a great addition to the game room and now the game room has something in it she can appreciate and relate to since she'll be moving in at the end of the month. Its kind of fitting that she's moving into her new pad (mine) while you are moving into your new pad as well. Thanks again, it looks great and she likes it a lot!
