I really hope it's new DLC, and I'm REALLY hoping for something with Oakvale. I know everyones probably seen alot of stuff on the internet about Oakvale and such, but I really want it back. It was my most favorite spot on Fable and Fable TLC, It was so nice and best in scenic detail to me and the music was phenominal. And with the technology they have now they could make it even better. And as you approach the ruined Oakvale in Fable 2 you can see it has a chapel, and more different buildings, I just wish I could see how much it changed!( Other than how it looks now lol) But I really do hope Peter and the rest of Lionhead's fantastic team bring us some new content, and hopefully Oakvale!

I say it must be Project X.
Months ago, Peter promised for several times that he wants to show it at GDC 09. I hope he doesn't break the promise.

Making Fable 2 a hollow sequel was an experimental work too?
And why can't you made that image without 'mirror', too lazy? May be that's why F2 was a big fucked up.

Rapture_Tourist, he never PROMISED he would be showing or revealing the new game, he said that if the "powers that be" allowed him to, he would love to reveal it. As far as I'm aware he is not going to be talking or showing the new game.

Peter Molyneux towards BBC: “Naming a particular game before it’s out is a difficult thing. And I’ll tell you why, because in two weeks I’m about to fly out to America for the Gamers’ Development Conference and that’s the time when you start to see what’s really coming up,”
"I know some of the things behind the scenes that are going on but it'd be really inappropriate to talk about them. But I can say there's some exciting things on the way. What you think of as video games is changing and changing fast."

"Firstly, he told us that he now wants to debut the game as soon as GDC in March next year - not that long to wait, considering the project was first mentioned six years ago."

The show should be interesting to watch if you can see it live. I wonder what experiments they are talking about? The experiments could be revolusionising tech for a game or something which is competely different in the industry today. (The time mentions GMT yay).

(I've just read the linked page)
It seems that there is also going to be a talk about "The Role of Games in Personal and Social Change" I sappose if anyone is going to talk about how games could change socially then Peter one for the job.
Also I am not expecting DLC or another game to be reveled since the show seems to be about experiments however it doesn't mean they won't be anything reveled.

Ok I definetly know more about this than most.
What they mean by the "Role of games in Personal and Social change", is basically what the black and white, fable, and the movies games are about. Morals.
Fable lets you be
or
same as black and white and the movies isnt so much morals as it is life choice. They are speaking how morals in games affect our actuall real life moral behavior and personal life choices.
For example,
throught my time playing Fable 2 I have found my self, and learned how I can improve on my own person based on how the npc's react to my choices.
I found my hero turning more and more into a reflection of me.
Believe me I didnt like what I saw. So I decided to take a look at my own make up and did a little changing. I managed to do this conciously. Many gamers do it subconciously on the other hand. People who play Grand Theft Auto tend to be more violent and angressive not to mention more profane. While people who play more moral challenging games where a choice can affect everything that happens next tend to develop a much more refind moral concious.
Meaning that just because you play a game and dont go around actually immitating it( which you really, really should not do under any circumstances) doesnt mean it doesnt have a long term effect on your human psyche. Keep in mind the last time you played Fable 2. Did you ever feel bad that you killed that Bandit in a way or did you shrug laugh and keep going? Did you feel grief over slaughtering countless Monks for the sake of a rare weapon or did you ignore yourself and kept on going?
I myself found that while I still continued for the sake of the weapon, it pained me so and upset me by the means I had to undertake to aquire it.
So people do change socialy aswell personaly when it comes to games.
People who become addicted become secluded and depressed easily, people who connect with a character tend to change in personality to match that of that characters personality, and people who play games like fable2 tend to develop a more refined sense of morality.
