New achievements of 'the Future'

A couple of weeks ago we announced the new game add-on for Fable II called See the Future.  Over the next couple of days and weeks we'll be releasing bits and bops of info about this add-on, so keep checking the Fable II Blog for more.

Yesterday the brand new achievements of See the Future were released on Xbox LIVE!  So for all you achievement-addicts (to be honest who with an Xbox 360 isn't an achievement wh0re?) there are an extra 250 Gamerpoints up for grabs and here they all are:


1The Nutcracker  10 1
Score 25 groin shots, or see another Hero do so.

1The Paramour  10 1
Make love 25 times, or see another Hero do so.

1The Concierge  30 1
Open all the Demon Doors in Albion, or see another Hero do so.

1The Visionary  50 1
Take a look into the future, or see another Hero do so.

1The Con Artist  25 1
Find all 10 of Murgo's statuettes, or see another Hero do so.

1The Howler  10 1
Scare five people while dressed as a balverine, or see another Hero do so.

1The Ghastly Jester  10 1
Make five people laugh while dressed as a hobbe, or see another Hero do so.

1The Repugnant  10 1
Disgust five people while dressed as a hollow man, or see another Hero do so.

1The Gladiator  30 1
Score a total high score of 20,000 points or more in the Colosseum, or see another Hero do so.

1The Multiplicator  20 1
Achieve a multiplier of 10 or more in the Colosseum, or see another Hero do so.

1The Combatant  20 1
Defeat the necromancer in the Colosseum, or see another Hero do so.

1The Fowl Player  10 1
Dress as a chicken and kick five chickens during the Colosseum battles, or see another Hero do so.

1The Colourist  15 1
Collect the dyes hidden in Murgo's magical items, or see another Hero do so.

A few people have asked about 'The Nutcracker', 'The Paramour' and 'The Concierge' achievements and whether or not they can be unlocked immediately if the requirement has already been completed on the Fable 2 retail disc... We can confirm that if you have already completed the requirement for these achievements you will unlock the relevant achievement as soon as you load your save game with the 'See the Future' 560MSP content downloaded. So, go get (nut)cracking! Smily [:)]

Or perhaps "Take more than 10 shots at a Gargoyle that you thought was still a Gargoyle but was in fact a broken stump of a Gargoyle you already shot, or see another Hero do so." It could be called "The Near-Sighted Hunter" and be worth -20 GP, which Lionhead would need to make up for by releasing their next DLC with an optional achievement, its availability contingent on whether or not you have completed the "Near-Sighted Hunter" one.  See now that's G o o d [Good] marketing.


in other news, I think the achievements are great and I can't wait for the DLC which is a lot more affordable than the last, but maybe I can get a free code for download....? Big Smile [:D] after, that is, I've already purchased the DLC and just give the code away instead cuz apparently that's how I role.

I think that before they release the content they take back the auto-achievements.

The one thing that makes getting an achievement fun is actually doing the work.

turning on the game just to see 2 or 3 achievements pop up is pointless. There is no fun in that. why not just give them all away and say have fun playing the expansion.

I really think you should fix it so we have to go get them all over again.

I am guessing achievements will only unlock if we load a save that has met those requirements.So there is nothing to stop us loading a save that has not met them and earning them in game.

If you pay close attention to the screens that Lionhead gave out about "See the Future" it looks like there MIGHT be something there for some one.. to maybe open, well who knows, I am just guessing here, I can't wait for it to be May already!
