Fable 2 Development

Game with Fame

Published Thursday, April 23, 2009 5:32 PM by Woody
Just received some big news for everyone here who want to play Fable II alongside a celebrity. Today (23rd April) you get the chance (if you're lucky) to play Fable II in co-op with the stars from Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire. I haven't heard of this new series on Comedy Central yet so I have no opinion as to whether it's G o o d [Good] or not. But if you watch it, and you like the two main stars of the show, keep reading!

Thanks to Lionhead Member FrankGrimes for letting us know on our forums, YOU can play in co-op with either Sean Maguire and/or India de Beaufort. Here are some pictures to persuade you. ;-)

India

Sean

Disclaimer: This is not what they're going to look like in the game. :-)

For more info and details about the time and what to do, click this link: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/community/calendar/gamewithfame/2009/0423-krodmandoon.htm. (this might be US only, don't get angry if it is please)

If you manage to get into a game with either of the two, please let us know!

That's tonight. Whoa glad I got my new 360 yesterday. Maybe I will see them out there, or one of my friends. This could be quite interesting to find out.
Thanks Frank for the info.

I wanted to watch these, but missed the first ep. Then the second and third were available on XBL, but only a preview of the first. WTF?
Hah, I think it's funny you guys didn't even know this was going on. Thought XBL might have told you something, they put up a notice on the dashboard like, a week ago?
Hope someone who enjoys both the show and the game get to play with them.

Oh, come on! I would've played too!
"And have someone who wanted to really bad, not?"
...Shucks. Sadface.

The show is ok. Reminds me a lot of the Hercules and Xena Warrior Princess shows with more bathroom humor.

I doubt they'll be very talkative, having to play with fans all night would suck lol.

I have never heard of them.

The only comedy here is the buggy game, imagine playing it and it crashing or messing up...

Co-op in fable 2 sucks and since almost everyone who has it beat everything there nothing to do in co-op so why have celebrities play fable 2 instead of like call of duty where it wouldnt be as boring.

"I'd love to play with India..." - ToddQuest.
Is that innuendo? To be honest, I've never heard or seen either before.
Danman2327, stop being a douchebag.

Well, it's over, and no one posted saying they played with them, so I'm thinking...
People who really, really liked the show and had an Xbox played with them.
Too bad though, as I'd like to hear what it was like to play with them. What they thought of the game, and so on. Not that their opinion is any better than anyone else's, but it'd be nice. They're doing a comedy about a time period close to the first Fable, and semi-close to this one. I dunno. Meh.
