Excellent...while I am slightly at a loss over the need for Microsoft Points to get these, I dont mind if the clothing looks quality.

Will go well with my purchase of Monkey Island...some left over points will go this way I think.

A cup of tea shirt, highwayman pants, spire soldier shirt, and lionhead Tee... just to name a few others...

Ya, I agree, I've seen this stuff all in the Preview update...pretty pricey too I might add...

Now if you mean we might be soon getting the ability to earn them free from in-game achievements/awards, then you've got my attention.

Remember not everyone can get into the preview aeh! This post is for those of us who aren't into it (like me!).

Top tip: I bought the entire Highwayman's outfit for around 560MS points (give or take). This includes the hat, the coat and the gloves. These three items are all you need to complete you outfit.
They are also selling the highwayman shoes and trousers for 140MS points each. DO NOT buy these two if you are only interested in having a entire Highwayman outfit. When your avatar equips the coat, the shoes are included and you can see the highwayman trousers underneath his coat.
Theres no need to waste MS points on items that come as part of another item.
Just letting you know
btw the Highwayman outfit is awesome overall, buy it.

Sam has a point, not everyone has the preview and is informed of what clothing is on offer.

I think for people to enjoy these they have to be a fan of the series, if you have some Odd MSP then its a perfect addition however these are not worth the same amount of points as a DLC which someone has indicated can rack up. People should bare that in mind if they do buy select clothing.

A great addition would be rewards as EarthBound mentioned otherwise this will go stale very quickly.

I can't wait to see the full line of available avatar clothes when released to the general public. I started filling out the stuff to get into the preview but I was doing it at work and it was asking for the 360 serial number and such, of course I did not have that info with me. Oh well.
Oh and the Hobbe shirt.....I want one I can wear, not just my avatar.

Isn't anyone else a little upset that they cost so much? I mean, c'mon, 560 points for a outfit? I could buy a arcade game for that and still have some leftover! Or you could buy a Fable 2 DLC...i know some people will say "Then don't buy them." But I would like to, but at that price, i dont know. I hoping they would give us achievment-hogs some love, but i guess microsoft wants us to pay...oh well. I'll probably be buying one or outfits, but thats it. Anyone else disappointed? I was planning on buying a bunch, but whatever.

P.S. Its not like i cant afford to buy them, its just that I don't like to buy overpriced stuff because all im doing is enforcing the high prices.

Sam, what about award clothing from Fable 2, maybe the Knothole Armor or something along those lines?  Master chief Armor for those with the LE?

@AlphaCM: The outfit itself doesn't cost 560 MSP, only 240MSP. Antinash bought the hat and gloves, which comes to about...200MSP. So he only spent 440 MSP on the entire highwayman get up.

@Antinash: So, let's say I do buy the coat. Can I equip the boots or pants separately? Or do I have to be wearing the coat to have those equipped? That's always something I've been curious about but I'd rather not waste 240 MSP on something that looks mediocre if I can't use the items separately.

Anyways...some of the clothes are really not worth the price-tag they carry. I mean, I did buy the Explorer shirt and left myself with 20MSP(stupid, I know XD) but I think everybody ends up with an odd number of points somewhere during their time on LIVE.  So...they're only worth it if you have an odd number of points or just like the clothes you're looking at.

@Kit_103 I got the coat and it has the pants and boots with it so you don't need to buy those just the coat.

@Kit_103 Like moose said, the coat comes with the pants and boots, so when you equip the coat, all three equip at once. Now you can pay another 100-ish points each for the pants and boots on their own, so you can wear them with other things, but why bother. I like to think of the coat as a ''bundle deal''........thats how I justified my purchase

And JeeHeeHeezus FF'in Christ, 560 MSPoints for some clothes? CLOTHES? It'll be a cold, cold, cold, cooooooold day in Hell when I buy into THAT. And they'll have to be delivered by flying pigs.

well i think its awesome i dont really know what this preview thing is that people are talking about but i think if yall put something really cool up to get i will get it, i love fable 2 its one of the best games i have ever played

I have to admit that I am alittle dismayed that folks are being charged for such a small feature . Although the argument could be made that Lionhead should be paid for their efforts in items such as these, it's still a bit of a stretch that folks should have to spend point aka money for what only a few people probably were in charge of designing over the course of a week. That's almost like saying people should start paying for the video dairies

Just wondering but can you like earn some of the cloths for like unlocking all achievements or something?
