This is indeed awesome news, but I would've liked to see the Prices in £ as well. Althought that won't be the hardest thing to guess £40 for the standard game as normal and around £60-£70 for the CE.
I'm happy with prices around that area the Hobbe figure makes the price fair.

GAME have the CE up for £50 and the standard edition for £40
GAME seems like the most logical choice retailer for the UK since they're the largest owning gamestation and all.

Well guys I say its a safe bet that the Gamestop clerk will not know your gamertag, but instead will issue you a card with an XBLA code on it that is redeemable for the download.

whats the extra content? i think its just stupid too "Gamble" on real money just to see what this new content will be.... im not going to waste 20 extra dollars for probably only a few new tatoos or mustaches..... now if it was some huge and important like..... a super end game weapon or armor set... then maybe but if not then F**K that and i aint wasting it so unless they release info on what the secret content is... i say if you havent pre-ordered it yet..... then dont.

nasos_33333, the only thing that requires xbox Live is to download the special in-game content, which might just be extra weapons or something, not an entire chapter in the game. You wont be missing THAT much, sheesh. There are a lot more games that have special things available for download only on Live, than you probably realize.

Awesome although I'll only pre-order it if there is actual in-game extra's. I wouldn't pay that much extra for a little Hobbe ;P Saving up for a Gibson SG. Or a nice Ibanez.. or maybe a Fender ;O it's so hard. I suck at gambling anyway, so I doubt I'll make it worthwhile ;P But, nice one, thanks for the update Sam.

yea that kinda sucks that all the extra stuff is just on Xbox Live cause i'll never get xbox live cause id never use it... only thing i use my xbox for is fable and halo and on halo i dont do death match i just enjoy the story line... oh well hopefully the only extra stuff for fable is just some junk weapons N armor and nothing to fantastic. I hope all the bonus material is amazing though that HALO 3 collectors edition was a BIG let down..

i think if u pre-order the game online u will get an email with the code and all the info u need to get the pub games off xbox live and if u go to the store or what ever and u pre order the game there they will give u the code there to download when u make the pre order at the store

there isn't a release date, just a speculated october release, but you don't need a defined release date to be able to preorder something, i could have preordered the game a couple of months ago, i'm glad not now though because i'd have had to cancel it for the limited edition.

According to this section, there will be a free xbox live gold membership trial for probably a month like other games I have gotten. So everyone who doesn't have gold and just have silver should definitely get the Limited Edition and enjoy the new co-op with all of your friends. Excuse me but I have to go pre-order mine. =D

Also, thank you for taking away the boundaries and also the map. Those two killed my entire Fable I experience.

I wasn't into videogames all that much before, got bored easily..tried the first fable and i was hooked. fable 2...extremely well done!!!!! Full of choices, options and fun. Got quite a few of our friends into the game as well.they can't stop playing. lol! Hope Lionhead continues to expand this world. )(Being able to open our own shop/sell from there might be cool for some. retirement options Lol!)

Curious though....I heard that our dog can have puppies...I haven't been able to find this option. Is this just a rumor??? If it is just a rumor..that would be an awesome add/download option for those of us who have pretty much finished everything.

I agree w/ LeoHead, the LE DLC should indeed be put on marketplace, so that more ppl can enjoy the game more, also, take away the lil bit of special content, and all you get is the regular game, so there realy isn't that much of a diffrence so most ppl will just buy the regular game and save monye
