@ beowulf : I don't agree with "rewarding" ... some of us should have got codes when we pre-ordered but didn't.Instead you are entered into some sort of pointless lottery.Add to that we have a while admittedly enjoyable game it's plagued by bugs and glitches which depending on how lucky or unlucky you are can really affect the game for the worse.I have a friend who after Fable 2 crashing lost everything on his 360 HD.another can't play for that 10 minutes without his game crashing nad having to restart his 360.Everyone i know has been affected to some degree by the games faults.

If anything M$ and Lionhead should give everyone that buys the game and plays online,a code via email (seeing as we all have to associate one with our GT's) instead of the system they have in place at the moment.

Other than that it's a game but please sort out everything .. please.

Dam it... I've checked this site a million times, and I miss it each time. I actually pre-ordered the game and got no code. Instead of making this a rat race to see who can type in the codes the fastest. Can't you arrange for one code that is redeemable for everyone.

All these codes are 25 letters long each... its hard to use the xbox controller to type 10 or 20 of these things in. Plus, I have to go over them twice because its so easy to make a mistake. Its really frustrating when none of them work.

Sam I love you for trying to get these Pub Games out. But, can't lionhead share the love to everyone.
Think of it as a celebratory thing. You guys just mentioned that this game is one of the fastest selling games ever, rejoice and let the fans rejoice with you.

@ kleggnutt : Soz 'ard. Rewarding is cool, it has nothing to do with codes you should have got when pre-ordering. That should be sorted yes, but I don't see what this has to do with it.

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the openness of the development team in both the acknowledgement of bugs and the straightforward dialog in getting them fixed. It's refreshing. This game is really amazing - a huge technical achievement and I can forgive a level of bugs escaping to the public with all the pressure to hit launch dates. Also, I dig the excitement and randomness of being able to get a copy of Pub Games for free since I didn't pre-order (and too cheap to pay $10 for what I can experience in the game).

However, kleggnut taps into a frustration a lot of gamers (and devoted advocates to the quality of the game who drive ongoing sales) are experiencing.

Until the 'abbot' plus misc. other patch is issued, it would be a great gesture to reward those early adopters of Fable II with a free copy of pub games. With all the XBLA red tape, I don't know if that is an impossible proposition. But, it would certainly make sense from a -will, viral sense in giving a little to get a lot in return.

Can't you just request MS to make it a free XBLA download for a week, or 3 days, or something? Way easier then us fighting for 5-10 codes at a time. I still feel disapointed that my local EB Games never got in enough codes for us with pre-orders.

honestly i like the idea of giving out free copies of the pub games but the way you guys are doing it , your going to tick off alot of people who might base their decision to buy future games/dlc from you off of your handling of this situation.

You guys are fixing the Limited edition problem by having microsoft send out codes to those who go here

I agree with phantomenigma1. Like I'm usually one to be negative.

I pre-order the limited edition and I watched as items were slowly taken away.
Not to mention that a bunch of us didn't get DLC content in our limited editions. The Game is also pretty buggy and you should reward the early adopters with relief.

Like each time I try these codes and fail, you won't believe how frustrating it easy.
These things are each 25 characters !!!

And why not sending the codes to the actual owners of Fable II Limited Collector's Edition who ACTUALLY bought that copy and didn't get any Pub Games code, if someone really want to distribute free codes of Pub Games? Waiting for "your" code of Pub Games here is not even worth your spare time, let alone your full attention. Believe me or not, your call. But as soon as the codes posted here, they might as well be useless.

Should I mention that somewhere pirates who didn't "actually" buy Fable II - let alone pre-order it - probably keep "monitoring" this blog just to get their hands on Pub Games for free? I am completely disapointed with how Lionhead and Microsoft have handled the missing DLC, which I also didn't recieve, and this so called "repayment" for those who have gone without. This is BS, we are supose to scrounge for the codes like idiots. I love the Fable series, but I will be very reluctant to purchase anything else from Lionhead, and if I do, I will not make the mistake of wasting my money on the LC Edition. And did anyone elso get the "your DLC code will be in your email within the next 10 buisness days" when going to the MS website? I can't express how angry I am with both lionhead and Microsoft for this blunder and how they are handling it.

i pre ordered my copy but never got a code. The pub games should just be free because you need them to get the completionist achievement but not everyone one wants to pay just for a shot at the achievement.
