Stupid (almost certainly noobie) question, but is there any way of previewing what the Theme will look like? I was hoping that browsing the marketplace on XBox.com would give some indication of what I'm getting for 250points, but I can't see any particular details.

I thought this kind of "preview" was something the NXE was supposed to provide...

I feel as if, Microsoft really does not have a say in what you announce to us, Its your game, everything you guys have put into it, You guys know now whats gonna happen your gonna have more little kids and immature people crying and pissing and moaning because you could not announce this. you should send me a e-mail telling me what it is look at my gamerscore for the game and my seconds logged in the game and im fourth on elders I feel as if maybe I should get to know. plus they dont know your sending me a e-mail anyway.

The hero of our tale is a man whose fame spread far and wide; villagers from around the globe would approach this figure with worship and begging.

What I want to hear for a big announcement is that Lionhead will finally address and FIX the inexcusable issues with this game. People are mad, and rightfully so. We expect answers for a game that feels like its not even ready for a beta test. I feel like I pre-ordered this game for nothing, paid for the LE version for nothing, and paid for a game that shouldnt have even been put on the shelves yet.

Lionhead, open your ears, there are alot of people that are highly upset and disappointed.

This stuff should be free for people who purchased the game (unlockable via achievements would be nice, or as a code included with the packaging to promote new purchases over used ones).

As much as I Love Fable I can't help reading this type of thing without sighing. The LCE still hurts. I wasn't going to even get it because I knew about the missing cards but alas my parents weren't as up to date as me -_-"
I knew they were getting me a game for my b-day. They even called me because they couldnt remember if i wanted Fallout 2 or Fable III rofl.
Stupid EB games sales person. 10 - 1 the guy knew about it and still made them pay an extra 20 bucks for it....

Hey Sam.. I don't know if you're the right guy to talk to about this, but perhaps you could pass this on to the folks that made the Fable II Theme.

I have some ideas for things that would make additions to the really nifty Fable II theme {which I think is totally awesome}, I'd like:

-a Lionhead Logo T-Shirt for my avatar
- Some type of Fable II style headwear for my avatar
- The Chicken Suit for my avatar! (Great for making your friends laugh out loud on XBL)
-any kind of unique Fable II clothing/accessory/item for my avatar. For accessories: Swords maybe? Or a Lute?

I'm going to place my money on it being an expansion announcement. I would prefer fixes to many other things, but if its big enough to make the game work easier then let is be written, so let it be done!

Wow. Now who could have seen this coming. Lionhead sets the community up. The Lionhead knocks them back down. Blame Microsoft all you want. You know seems to me you guys would have gotten with microsoft about this anouncement sooner. Oh and awesome for telling us we have to wait till monday, but please go buy our theme for 250mp. 250 for half a screen worth of artwork. Atleast epic gave away a nxe theme. They have some you can buy as well, but atleast they made an attempt to make everybody happy.

Can't beleve the number of whiners there are here. If you don't like lionhead's way of doing things...then don't buy from them. Don't get me wrong Ive had my share of dissapointments when it came to Fable 2 i.e. everything that happened with the LE but i, just like everyone else who bought it, had the choice not to do so. At the end of the day Lionhead above any other game studio goes out of it's way to interact with it's fans. That is to be commended so why give them so much grief?

I'm reminded of that episode of The Simpsons and Bart's talking to Comic Book Guy about Poochy the Dog.

Like would it not be cool if that theme was free for all Fable 2 LE owners ?

Compensation for the loss of all the ies, and all that went wrong with the game and the disapointments we had to suffer ?

Fable 2 is an awesome game, but im still disapointed by the loss of all the nice LE stuff!!

and i heard that theme was like 250 gp wich is way to expensive for just a theme, so what you say SAM ?

Ok so I bought and loaded the theme......looks nothing like what is posted above. Only thing I got was a background picture of the hooded seerress(sp?) the same as my pic. Nothing else changed. When on my friends screen still is the same stuff that is on there when you first start up NXE.

Are you honestly not disappointed with this game?

Now, take note that disappointed doesn't mean that you hate it. It simply means that you aren't satisfied.

I, for one, am very disappointed. I guess I should have seen it coming after Fable 1, but I thought "Oh, they learned their lesson." I was wrong.

They said there would be a 12 hour story if you rushed to finish it; I beat it in 4.
Limited Edition; basically a joke.
Glitches up the vaj; how do you manage to ship a game with that many glitches?

The bottom line is that Fable 2 is an unfinished game. Peter can't honestly tell me that he accomplished what he wanted to accomplish with it. It is simply unfinished.
I didn't say it sucked, I said unfinished.

Now, Lionhead fanboys, feel free to attack me.

Game developers need fans more then we need them. Without fans buying games they fail. Now if we all made games then wo would buy them??? You are allowed to have your opinions, but don't deny other people theirs.

Theres a game called ninja blade that just put out a nxe theme for 250 mp. Along with it came 5 pieces of clothing for your avatar.

Gears of war put out a free nxe theme. Not to mention have been giving out free golden weapon lancer codes. So don't act like Lionhead is doing everything to make people happy.

Alot of us don't want to have to buy Fable 2 the lost chapters to get a complete fable 2 experience.

Lionhead is a great company and puts out one of my favorite games in fable and fable 2. I used to only play sport games and shooters until the fable series came out and was just blown away by the commercials for fable. I had to have that game. I'm glad I did because it changed the way I looked at games.

That being said I know I'm not the first fable fan and I don't think I'm more of a fan then anyone else. I just want lionhead to make the majority of it's fans happy and the way things have been going over 2 million people bought fable 2 and almost everyone that got the Limited Edition got screwed. First thing I did when I got my copy I pooped in the bonus disc only to get mocked by the travelling hobbe video.

Then Microsoft decides okay we are gonna give everybody that asks the "exclusive content" . People not being able to finish the main quest, other various glitches. Now I know lionhead didn't want any of those things to happen, nonetheless they happened. I know we can all expect downloadable content to be the anouncement, but I can also guarantee they'll be a hefty price on it. END RANT.

I don't believe that anybody likes to have somebody coming, hyping something up, and then coming back and saying "hey guys, we can't show whatever we had".
For real, that's not really cool.
Now just watch, when you guys really say something that will come, there will be a crazy overhype, and then when it actually comes out everybody will just say "what is that?"
So yeah, you guys kind of need to learn how to not hype everybody up.

okay, seriously people, i know you just want the 1000/1000. we all do, and i know your just asking politely but it sounds like begging and/or whining (and yes i know, everything on the internet does). but can't you send it in an e-mail instead of a comment? i think lionhead has been very generous by giving out codes anyway. most companies *cough* Activision *cough* wouldn't even give stuff like this away for free.

when they post new codes they'll post them.
