The third child is always the difficult one, or so the saying goes. If the same principle applies to video diaries then the third episode of the Lionhead Video Diary is where the pressure lies. Luckily, I was the fourth child in a row of five.

The concept for the third episode was our 10th anniversary party and the Central Technology Group here at Lionhead (we're the ones with the green pillars on our floor). This time there was around six hours of footage which had to be chopped down into a feature of just less than seven minutes. It's always a right pain to leave soundbites on the cutting floor. One of the things I have picked up from your reactions was that sometimes we came across a bit "up our own ass". Hopefully this episode is slightly lighter... And you will get a Fable 2 fix if that's the only thing you're after!

The last couple of weeks have been full production almost; from getting the lights in for the interviews, to doing an off and on-line edit. It's taught me a lot of new things, mainly thanks to the guy who's been my mentor during the editing process. That was a beautiful experience.

So the video diary is in the can as they say, and it's almost cut into a nice third episode. You can expect it to be released early October, so stay tuned! It was a joy and a pleasure to get this one done and I hope you'll like it as well.
