Is the loot system like the old one, or can you loot a corpses body this time round? coz quite frakly i was rather dissapointed i couldn't prise a bandits sword fomr his cold dead hands and use it as my own :(

How will the Fable 2 world be different then the previous fable world.

Will there be Fable 1 references?

1.What has become of our old hero? Will his deeds be remembered?

2.Has the culture of Albion changed much? Our we gonna see different architecture, music or clothing then the type we saw from Fable 1?

Question1) is the world broken into parts like in fable 1 or is it like oblivion

Question2)how do you talk to or interact wit npc's. it was said that there are no     cut-scenes so will all interaction be done with the expresion system  

Q3) relative to another town in another game or in real life could you say how big the biggest city is
Q4)lionhead holds the record of having the most complex character in a video game which is the creature off black and white 2 with around 1.2MB .is the dog in Fable 2 going to wipe the floor with this record.
Q5)what aspects of the present graphics engine would you be pleased to leave as they are or call complete

Is fishing going to be in Fable2?

And if so, has it moved on from the original?

Experience orbs concern me greatly, not only because I view them as immersion breaking, I fear that the best if not only source for experience will be from mindless hack and slashing tons of MOBs. And non-combat adventuring and stealth will not count towards experience.      

I would enjoy hearing that experience orbs where at the end of a quest or adventure and not for each kill, and maybe orbs changed based on your action during the quest.

 i have quite a few questions...

-will it still be based in albion or will it be a completely new place all together.

-will you be training in the same heroes guild.

-will there still be and church places.

-will teleporting be the only way to reach certain places on the map.

-will there be more quests than the first.

Since the world will be free roaming, how will the hero travel across it without running everywhere? will it be a portal system like fable 1 or some other sort of fast travel?

If the hero forces a town to go into poverty and become a ghost town, will the surrounding forest or whatever nature is around the town actually overgrow the area?

Since you can own anything, will shops that you buy be employed by npc's and you will get the profits or will the building just be empty like in fable 1?

I tried to keep them about the world of fable 2, but I probably didn't succeed.

Are there going to be different breeds of Dogs? (like Huskies etc.) How will my Dog be different from anyother Dog?

Music in Fable 2 is obviously going to be very important  for the fighting system, and setting rhythm for players to fight to, how difficult is it to temper this for all levels of gamers?
And will the music of other areas of the game be as dynamic? (Make sense?)

lionhead have been very brave, it seems, to include a dog and all the other interesting features and i'm very excited indeed.

I want to know if you think the amount of radical new features have enhanced the amount of fun we'll have in 2 or that we might not enjoy it the same way as 1 because of all these new things :)

How interactive will the scenery be for example, can you enter random buildings like Fable or has it been limited ?

I myself think that yes the music is a very important factor and is also combat but as a fable2 fanatic I have to agree with sam whats the world of fable2 going to look like.  And Has it change dramatically over 500 years?  But most importantly...WHEN IN 2008 IS THE GAME GOING TO BE RELEASED?...I WANT A MONTH AND A DATE.

Ok, I'll try to ask questions and not make suggestions. 1) Is there still going to be something like the "Guildmaster Help" in F2? Because that was right up there w/ Otis from dead rising in the annoyance factor. Sure you could turn it off but there were some parts where he would still demand you go to the guild. Maybe a carrier pigeon could deliver you a note every once in awhile and you could read it whenever you wanted to. 2) Will Demon Doors be back? I sure hope the riddles/puzzles are harder if so. 3) Please say there is no combat multiplier. 4) Will actions have REAL consequence? dont get me wrong, i loved the first game. played through it like 10 times and playing again right now actually, but any route you take there isnt any difference i.e. Whisper doesnt appear after the arena if you spare her, and if you kill her its nothing some tofu wont fix. Well, there is two things i would love to see in the vid diary. One is something about new spells and how they will work, and two is how your quests will come and go.

Will the monsters be very different and will there be more veriety of monsters to kill? if so YAY MORE KILLINGS

Is downloadable content a must, on Fable 2?
Will you be able to play with your friends online? like only 1-4 people on your server and actuley have to be your friend?

A more fluff request for a developer I like to know about is; will dancing, play music and possibly singing in Fable 2 use the same rhythmic button system as combat?  

I NEED DA RELEASE DATES OR I MAY DEVELOP A NERVOUS TWITCH, oh wait, i already have. well, here are my questions:
1) when is it to be released?
2) can you get different breeds of dog?
3) what will the changes of alignment look like; i mean, if your then will you get a halo or something but if your will you get a forked tail?
4) what is ranged combat going to look like?
5) how will you get around albion?
6) is the guild of heroes building there?

I would like to see how the world is built, and how interactive the NPC's will be.

How will the weather system work in Fable 2? Will there be seasons, changes in the world that you can actually see in real time? Also will day and night last longer than it did in Fable? Since Fable 2 is free roam, I think, will there be any signs to get a general idea of where you are going, if you wish to stick to the path, or will it be all be on the dog to get where your going?

My question for the developers is: How interactive will the world be? More specifically, I know there will be lots of combat interactivity with items such as bottle, bricks, walls, etc, and in F1 there were some things like barrels that you could wreck, but how will the environment react to you?  If you practice with your sword on a tree, will it make marks? If so, will those marks last, so when you come back later, you can see where you were practicing in your younger days? Can you use fire abilities to set fire to things like trees and maybe even houses? (Especially if you are !) Other things along those lines as well. There are some games that have that to some extent (Counterstrike is a nice example of what I mean), and I'd really love to see it in Fable 2.

i am really interested in the feel of the world.
the first fable was a labyrinth/dark crystal (Jim Henson) fairy tale world with dark overtones. but is fable 2 the same? what is the general mood of the world is it more sinister sleepy hollow or is it more Hollywood pirates of the Caribbean, 3 musketeers kind of feel this time round?

Are there plans to bring Fable to the MMO level and if so will it be free?
Are you planning to bringing something like(key word LIKE) fable to another console (since I know microsoft probably has there fingers deep in the fable world and would not let you make Fable for another system) and bring the exprience I don't know the motioning sensing way say to a small white console that has three letters that rhymes with Dee because I know Peter and Miyamoto-san would get along great

2) Have you used Environment realism? e.g. when you run in mud your boots will get muddy, when you step in water you'll leave wet footprints.(i hope so)
3) How far have you gone with REALISM?(man i hate that word and its meaning) If you get obbsessed with it then it ruins a game.
4) I want to see how rent would work in fable 2 and the ownership of buldings too so can you please show us some of that?

Dear Lionhead Develpers

Here is a small list of questions that i think many people in the lion head community are mostly interested in.

1. Interaction - The would must be able to interact while we are away during quests. The question i have is how much? If i'm gone for about a week is some horrible bubonic plauge going to unleash itself upon the town of bowerstone or will the people just barley know i was gone? Describe how interactive people and objects will be.

2. World Transportation - With no load times that connect you to a different region the world is bound to be larger and more diverse. How are we to travel around this world? More cullis gares? Bycicles? Teleportation, boats, chariots, swimming? Transportation will be a biggie. Dont want to be like oblivion and walk everwhere treking for a long time.

3. Quest & Guilds - How are we to belong in to the world? Will we band with a group of jypsies that give me my quests to steal food for the family? Or will my bandit bretherin order me to attack a small town? And what of guilds? Will there be guilds all around the would or just one suprem guild of heroes?

4. World Weather - Will certain types of weather give you access to things that werent presently accessable in the weather before? Fore example. There is a cave under the water that you can venture into, but when the winter comes the lake freezes, but also at the same time makeing a nother place accessable that was not accessable in the season before. How will the weather affect the wold? Will heavy rains cause mudslides to occur?

Is character aging still tied into experience leveling-up? If so, is it as ridiculous as in Fable or The Lost Chapters?

Christs sake, complete three bloody quests and your character is going on 50. Yeah, time flies, but what about the golden years, eh? It's a pain when your character goes from being king stud to wrinkly old sod in the time span of a single mission.

How much have will abilities changed, as well? Is Lucien as well composed as Jack of Blades, or is he just some miserable sod going around making people's lives hell for the sport of it? Remember, NOTHING makes a villain like a mask and abject nihilism!

Will I be able to use my spells and weapons in every city at any time?

Is it still permissible to run around towns in the buff? If so, does that hurt your credibility more, less than, or in an equal manner as it did in Fable?

Some video game developers make cameo appearances in their video games. Should we expect such for Fable 2?

How have the creatures of Albion evolved with the passage of time?

Is the Grey family still prominent in Bowerstone? Are there, more or less, causes or monarchs to fight for, as was true for musketeers or dragoons, or is it still quests? (not that I'm complaining)

Do we have control over how our character evolves towards or ? For example,  can we choose the defining physical or character traits of our character as they delve further into or , or will they absolutely have to be halo toting blue eyed kooks or big horny bastards?

-How many animals are there altogether? (not including the player's dog)
-How many of these are really significant (e.g. Horses)
-What sort of role will the community play in the world? Will it be much greater than it is in Fable 1?
-Will you be the only hero (The only significant one)?
-Will there be seasons (Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn)
-Will there be any festivals or holidays or anything (such as Christmas)
-Do you really really really wanna zig-a-zig-ah?

Have you modified the animations for the crotch grab and the middle finger expressions?

Will it be possible to get your dog piss-drunk? Are there pleasure ladies within the game that didn't hit every branch falling down the ugly tree?

Is it possible to modify weaponry beyond augmentations? (I.E., personalizing your saber, increasing the size of your sledge (trust me, I know how that sounds), or changing the appearance of your weaponry?)

I heard there are female characters in Fable 2. How exactly is that progressing, and how will it differ when raising a family and interacting with bar wenches? It does not seem that Fable will lend itself well to playing as a female like KOTOR or Mass Effect would.

Yukibara has some questions, weapon modifications other than augmentations would be really .

could you tell us more about the personally expereince of the hero and how it will differ from fable 1 please? like a bit of the story and about all the differences and CHOICES that you can make you know the stuff that makes fable, fable.

How will npc's react to you killing random people in a crowded city?

In terms of variation, Fable was pretty shocking. Everytime you kill someone, people scream and run away, and you are attacked by the town guards. Will there be any improvements in fable2? Like, a huge bulky guy will insult you and get really anrgy cause you killed his brother, and pull out a machette and chase you out of town, rather than say... screaming and running away like the little kids in Bowerstone.

Will there be more than one kind of reaction to each thing that you do in fable2?

Also, is the levelling up system still going to be the same? It would really help if what you were doing at the time contributed to what skills you learn.

How will talking work like, will there be choices to choose from or do they just talk  and you stand there?

1. Can you decide how long is the story, game time wise?

2. How do dynamic regions work from the player's perspective?

3. Faeitae? Archon? Pandora's Box? Anything on those?

4. NPC life. Could you elaborate on the AI? We saw and heard quite a lot about this during the development of the original. How has it improved? NPCs still have daily cycles? Families? Jobs?

5. Who ages? Player, wife, husband, children? Everybody? What is aging based on? Perhaps you have returned to the chapter based approach?

6. How about festivals? Midsummer's night and that sort of thing. Any hope for that?

7. What are the design... ideas behind the world construction? Does "walk everywhere, but not anywhere" still apply? Or is it full on go anywhere?

8. Cities. How many cities and/or towns are there in total? How many of these are from the original?

9. You are destined to bring together a group of people, not unlike the magnificent 7.... because... and to do what?

10. Sandgoose? Come on. You gotta do it.

I allways wanted to go outside albion in a BOAT or something during the first two fable, but will their be new cultures, new combat styles, new races, etc.? and with the boats, you guys did have pirates in TLC- remember the ghost?

1. I was quite surprised with the dog-feature, but will I be able to choose which breed I'd like to have?(like German shepperds, Alaskan malamutes or Siberian huskeys?) I have two dogs of my own, and it would have been fun to have them in the game as well :P

2. Is there going to be any "flashbacks" from Fable 1? Would've been lots of fun for someone who have played the first game.

3. Is the quest system anything like the one in the previous game? And will it be many more of them?

4. Will the world be bigger? And what about the matter of transport?

I have a question about combat.  I know that the combat is rhythm sensitive, but what we saw was for only melee.  My question to you is, will the combos be linked as in will you be able to pull off a few melee hits and finish with a blast of magic or a shot to the torso or head?  or in any order you choose?  and if so, will they be fluid or will there be  a pause in exchanging weapons?

i really want to see some gameplay which i know will most likely not be in it. also, i would like to be treated with a hint, or even the whole thing, at what peter molyneux's third secret is about fable 2. after all it is haloween so we need some treats.

I have a question about a rumor I heard about owning a boat, a ship, for you to sail around in with a crew of your best mates. could this be a feature in fable 2? Because this does happen in around the 17th century right? isn't that when pirates were around? It seems like the world has evolved into a colonist type of world. take Bloodstone for example, a pirate town right? and its set up for docking boats.

I have a question of weapon and armor "grading" or levels if you will. Is each type of clothing and weapon going to have it's own advantages and disadvantages or will it simply have one kind of clothing is better than the other or one kind of weapon rules over all else? For example, are will outfits going to actually help in the act of magic with maybe mana-boosting or offensive magic damage boosts? As for weapons, are some swords going to be better at blocking, like more of a time frame for parrys? Thank you so much for reading, now I'm off to play Fable: TLC!

First of all, thanks for making this happen Sam.  My questions are about things already announced, ranked in the order of importance to me.

1.) At E3 this year a death system was announced where you get a scar or pay a fine in place of dying, then you rise up and fight again.  Shortly after E3 there was an interview with Peter that said he wasn't sure if this death system would have enough depth.  Has the death system (a.k.a. scar-death) changed since E3?

If the death system hasn't changed could you explain how a feeling of loss will be giving by a blackout in combat.  I know you lose gold/xp/renown or gain a scar but you always rise up to defeat your enemy, making you a winner in the grand scheme of things.  NPC's react to your loss, which wasn't really a loss because you defeated your enemy so it seems to create a grey area in between losing and winning.  A little clarification on that would be most appreciated.

2.) At GDC the dog was revealed.  The dog seems like a great tool for ranged fighters, how will the dog behave when you are fighting with a weapon like a sword?  Say your in a 1 on 1 duel with a bandit, will the dog sit off to the side?  Or will he interrupt your duel by biting the bandit’s leg or something?

3.) 1 button combat was also announced at E3 this year.  I'm wondering if people who play the game a lot will be able to make better use of the environmental moves.  For example, your 'hardcore' player might know that every wall can be used to spear your enemy against once your within a meter of it.  Will there be so many possible moves that you can never truely master them because the outcome could be different every time, or will you be able to learn exactly which action will happen if your standing in a certain spot?

4.) Will Fable 2 have specific weapons that can be used with the stealth system?  Is there any chance of having bows added to that list if it exists?

5.) How do you plan on making orbs cool?

i want to know more about aging in the game in the first fable you grew old half way through the game and there was nothing you could do , so if aging is the same is there anyway to make yourself young again

since you have a dog with you all the time can your dog die if it was hit in combat and since instead of dieing you pass out and get robbed is there anyway of putting some money away like a bank of some sort so you dont lose it all

First question. What is the over all attitude of the development team so far into the game? Are they excited, overwhelmed, board, or burnt out? How are you guys doing; you all alive? PM isn't a slave driver is he? lol

Second and final question from me. Whats the online play going to be like, or are there planes for any online play? Could you please evaluate on that particular part of the game a little.

will you be able to influence what kind of ppl live where? for example, i read that if you own a house you can let a friend live there (i'm assuming that meant a npc), so if you run with baddies can you buy up a town and it become baddy territory?

Have you thought about making downloadable content after the game is released  ?

Heres a question i am not sure anyone else has asked, how does the transition between boy and man work, because my biggest problem with fable was that by the end of the game i was a wrinkley old man and that isnt cool, i want to be a young warrior of death, and to regain youth in the first one was a bit tedious and not affective if your like 60

what is the havok engine doing for the whole fable experience. I remember you said that you were having alot of problems until you decided to use it. In what context were these problems

are there many unused buttons on the controller or have you found a function for all of them

Also can you jump Iremember Peter saying something about the freedom to jump off a cliff and to walk where ever you want.

Also if you jump off a cliff and die how does that tie into the death system

• Will we be able to buy farms? I mean houses far away from the cities?

• Will we be able to "forge" our own weapons? Like my own sword or axe.

• Will we be able to make our own clothes, and even change colours and stile?

• Dogs, will we be able to choose different specs of the dog?

• Wives/husband, will we be able to change there looks? Like hair (Not colour but the "stile"), clothes and makeup(?) etc.

My meaning with this is, if you are a rich man/woman and marry a poor woman/man, how fun is it to have a wife/husband that looks like she/he lives on the road?

• Do we need to bath, go on the toilet, brush our teeth and help our wife/husband with the house and our children?

• Will we be able to invite people to a party in our house? If so, how will we serve our friends with food, drinks etc? Will we be able to have maids/slaves that will help us with that stuff?

• If there will be maids/slaves, will we be able to torture them or be and give them more money so the will work harder?

• Marriages, are we still able to become hetero, homo and bisexual? And how will the sex work this time? As weird as in Fable I? Will you be able to marry more then one person? Will you be able to cheat? I mean are you able to jump in bed with one of your maids/slaves (If there will be any?) or the elegant woman at the bar? (No, I have no idea if there happens to be an elegant woman at the bar)
(I know, a bit of a perverse question but I just want to know how it “works” in Fable 2)

• Guilds and Gangs.
Example I : If a gang of bandits captures me (Is that possible). And if the want me to join there gang, if not the will chop my head off. If I choose to join up with them, will I be able to raid villages and maybe burn down smaller towns?

Example II :  If I help the City Guards in a town and I manage to get rid of the bandits (Or maybe even another town that is attacks them?) that is attacking them, will I be able to join the City Guards or will they maybe even “invite” me, to join up with the City Guard?

Guilds : Will there be guilds like in The Elder Scrolls VI : Oblivion?
Like a guild for Fighters and one for Assassins? Or can we even form our own guild and be come or ?

• Will we be able to become a count over a town? If so, will you be able to turn a poor and boring town into rich town that everybody loves? Or will we be able to turn it in to a slum? Then I mean the whole town.

• How many kids can you have? Two or even ten?
• Will we be able to have pigs, sheep, cows and horses on our farm? (If there will be any farms…)

• Festivals, will there be any great parties where you worship your gods and Valentines Day, Christmas Eve and etc, will they be there?

• Gods, will they play a huge role in the game? Are there more gods than God and Satan? Can we rule the powers of the gods?

• Will you be able to buy castles and other huge buildings?

I wanted to know more about 3D - programms. I wanted to make Charakters and meshes like fable.

Will the aging system be slowed down in Fable 2, or will I get old and wrinkled half way through te game? Will be able to determine how fast my Hero ages?

Will we be able to go to a black smith and create our own weapns armour like in vagrant story?

It's been a while since I read info on this game so sorry if some of these questions have been answered in previews.

- How big is the world? How much larger is it than the world in Fable 1? Is it comparable to something like Oblivion or Morrowind?

- Does it still load small sections individually, or is it one large seamless world like GTA? Or is it like Oblivion where you have one large overworld, but dungeons and towns are loaded separately?

- If there is loading, how will the load times compare to the original Fable.

- Will you have any sort of transport in the game, like being able to ride horses or something?

- Will the world be more open than in Fable 1 and offer more opportunities, outside of the main story, to explore? The first one for all minor things that were offered as freedom, felt almost like an on-rails kinda game, because there was no real exploration as it was typically a straight shot from one place to another. Exploration and hidden items are one of the main reasons RPGs appeal to many reasons.

- Will there be events which have incredibly large impacts on the game world? For example, Would it be possible to greatly anger a character which sets fire to some town, which will remain burned throughout the rest of the game? Perhaps there'd be the option to help rebuild it through some gold and mini-games?

1. Are all settlements and regions from Fable included in some way?

2. Are we going to see some place outside of Albion like a certain island protected by massive walls and beach defenses perhaps?  

3. How is loading handled in the game, is the world divided into sections or will it load on the fly?

5. Are there going to be new Demon Doors, maybe with some twists this time around?

11. Does Albion have a king in Fable 2, what sort of government is ruling Albion this time around?

Does plate armor still exist in some facet, or is it mostly fabric and leather now? Is there a "Heavy-Armor", something you could wear to a dinner date with a Balverine?

Are you using fully scripted voice actors for the main characters this time, or are you going for the Fable approach to main-character voicing? (Smile and wave)

Aside from the dog, which EVERYONE is geeked about (Evidently Peter Molyneux) what is, decidedly, the most impressive development in the Fable 2 storyline (the one that you put the most blood, sweat, tears, and heavy alcohol consumption into?)

Is it possible to breed dogs within the game, and if so, how do the character expressions come into play? (<Vulgar Thrust> "Come On!")

Who was the character model for the pleasure lady? Were lifer criminals interviewed to find the point where they would draw the line, even with their sexual starvation?

Does the Lionhead team have a tradition or method to stay awake during particularly long hours? (I.E. Energy drink chugging competitions)

Who would win in a hand to hand fight, the mayor of Knothole Glade or Chewbacca?

Is Lionhead thinking of keeping Jonathan Keeble in for voice work? Might he perchance narrate this game?

In your opinions, will the average player feel a need for cheatcodes or getting around the system, or will the game be set up to naturally ameliorate the frustrations of the player (Say the player is on the ground floor of some tower running at full speed after having conquered the previous floors, and just as they are about to exit with their lives they slip on a balverine turd and break their neck. Will there be autosaves within the missions, will there be difficulty modes, and drinking and philandering aside, will there be ways of relieving your troubles?)

I have already heard that the world will be free-roaming, but this is a term that is strangely used synonymously with the term "open-ended."  Because of this association, I oddly feel that there will be a great deal to do apart from the main story.  What is there for me to after I have finished the main quest, or am looking for additional ways for my character to spend his/her time?

Also, could you briefly run over the economy and/or weather system(s) used in the game?  I realise these questions have been asked before, but it's something that is interesting to know, as well as, probably (though I'd like you to prove me wrong), not forcing you to give away big secrets about the game.

First Question: In the first fable there was the infamous bugs that where discussed on every serious Gaming forum / Gaming website, now I'd like to know what your planning on doing with any bug's (Advantages that shouldn't be there are included). Are you planning on releasing updates to the game VIA Xbox Live.

Second Question: How many (If there are any) achievements will there be in Fable 2 and will they be Easy, Moderate or Hard to earn.

Third Question: Will Fable 2 be released for the Personal Computer?

Fourth Question: What different "Editions" of the game will be released, will there be a Collectors edition / Legendary edition / Regular Edition.

Fifth Question: This question is involving the dog, I have been wondering if you can customize your Hero's dog, IE Fur color, Breed (Husky, Mut, Collie, etc), Personality type (Aggressive, Defensive, Both?).

Sixth Question: Much like my fifth question but this relates to the hero itself, Every RPG (Oblivion, Morrowind, etc) have included a character customization system  Are there any similar plans for Fable 2 and if so can you release any details on what we will be able to customize and when.

Seventh Question: In fable magic was nearly useless in the game, I personally beat the game in six hours without using any magic unless it was required. What are you plans with the magic system. Will it deal more damage then the original fable or will it deal less,etc.

Eighth Question: Skills like force push where fun in Fable but the problem with skills like that is that they sometimes struck Allies / Friendly targets which has caused many people to re-do questions, Re-Do certain parts of the game,etc.

Ninth Question: Are you hiring game testers to open and close door's for hours on end and other similar things like that. (This might seem like an odd question but I have always been wondering what type of skills it took to become a game tester,etc)

To what extent will the Hero's look be personalizable?

I'm curious because the concept art shows very different looking characters.

P.S. I liked being an old dude kicking butt in fable.

Will the civilian clothing be in Fable 2? Also will it serve a purpose like hiding from guards or concealing your true identity? Just curious because it seems that a lot of games have regular clothing but it is never useful.

can you sit down and do actions in chairs/benches?, cos in the last one you couldnt use chairs, and that borke the immersion value for me

How do you intend on making the game appealing to people of different age groups and who have different tastes in games.

I know that you can buy everything in the game, so can you rent out everything in the game?  if you bought a cave in the middle of nowhere, would a troll family want to rent it out?

I’ll try to keep my questions about the world of F2.  1. Will there be statues or other monuments referencing the heroes and villains from the first game?  2. Will there be an arena that you can fight in?  3.  How much bigger will fable 2 be than fable 1?  4.  Will you see other heroes adventuring in the world?  For example if I was wondering a forest I had been in many time before will I be able to see a random hero killing bandits.  And if so can I tag along?  5. Final question this has nothing to do with the world but has something to do with the story, I just have to ask.  I read somewhere that Peter Molyneux mentioned he wanted part of the story to be like the movie “The Magnificent Seven”, if this is true I think it’s a great idea.  If so will you have to gather a group of heroes to defeat a much greater adversary and will many of the heroes die like in the movie.  Thanks for your time, o and since the video diary is about the world can you show footage of your character walking around in the world.  Once again thanks for your time.  

Will hand to hand combat for a character improve visually as his skills with hand to hand increase? (e.g. going from sissy slaps to Spetsnaz in 3 skill levels)

Will there be random events that occur to keep players on their toes/interested, like a fire breaking out in your town out of the blue that you need to fight, or a big baddie (ripper wannabe) killing randomly within your town that you have to track down?

How will maximizing traits or designing traits to your preference be rewarded? I.E. If we maximize our character's frightening appearance, can we scare someone to death?  If we maximize our beauty, will there be specific pathways within the game that become open to you?

How will it even be possible to top Fable 2, graphics aside?

Will the character morhping be more complex than Fable 1's system? The reason I'm asking this is because no matter how you played through Fable 1 your character would look almost exactly the same as anyone else who played through the Fable other than tattoos and hairstyles.  Obviously you can be female in Fable 2 but what else has changed to ensure that your character is truly unique?

i was wonderin if you incorperated the season into the game, for example. The xbox 360 has a built in calender, so if it was close to halloween in real life, it would be cool to see houses of albion with jack-o-lanterns in front of the house.  or snow men, or christmas trees in the winter.

OK, I have a few suggestions which would be very cool to see in episode 4.
I think I'd like to see a map of Albion and any other new nations, e.g past the Eastern Mountains. I would also like a quick fly through of the world, including some but not all of the new cities, towns, villages and countryside. I would also like to see a short clip of gameplay, showing the use of Will, ranged and melee weaponry. This altogether will not take more than 40 seconds and I believe would satisfy fans' curosity while not giving too much away, though I am a realist and doubt that you would show much of what I have suggested but I think it would be a very cool idea.

i have a question about fable 2 :)

Will there actually be different endings?

oh and will there be new ways to gain /bad points?

Will the Arena still stand after 500 years? Will it be up and running or will it be some overgrown dungeon filled with the ghosts of former champions? Will our old hero be on statue in the hall of heroes? And IF you include multiplayer and the Arena is up and running, could players challenge each other there?

Otherwise I'm just wondering about the UI. Will you have a map of any kind or will the dog replace all that, will the energy and health bars look the same, (will we still have resurretion vials at all?) are we going to have the same "lock on" system and will we use the same system for casting spells?

Oh, will we have unlockables? Like if you do certain hidden quests or such you can get ies when you start a new game, like exchange the dog for a tiger or something.

And PLEASE TELL ME, will we get to define how the hero looks more? Like throw in a system that works a bit like when making characters in The Sims 2 (no I don't play that game but I liked the face-forming system when I saw it).

I hear alot of talk about these festivals and seasons being put in the game based on the questions in the blog. i want to no are you guys going to incorporate all these things .  Don't get me rong they would be nice but i want nothing that will slow my 360 down so much that i can barely play it which would really drain the experience.  If you are putting them in the game wat will be ur method for effectively doing this.

I'm from The Netherlands, and I know very few people who've heard about the game Fable (The Lost Chapters). So, even lesser people've heard about the concept of Fable 2! And when I want to show some video's, or screenshots, nearly all of 'em aren't really that intrested. As a result, I've lately been searching the Web for some simple in-game footage. But I've concluded that there isn't any! Perhaps there is some in-game footage. But I truly believe that there isn't. So maybe you can make some in Episode Four. Thank you very much!

I wanted to know will there be unlockable levels like witchwood in Fable 1 or will all of the map be available right from the get go.  I also was wondering if there were going to be new forms of transportation like using boats, animals, ect.  Can you destroy the enviorment like cutting down a tree or even create new things like build houses or create towns.  Will new items appear in a town if it prospers will its population increase.  can you kill perminate characters like the mayors or tavern keepers.  also will you be arrested for doing things like hitting your wife and iif so will it cost more for the assault of a woman or child rather than a man.  will houses be more elaborate in this one or will they consist of the single room per floor idea as in Fable 1.  will the creatures in the world change and become more abundant if not killed off or will they attack towns if there are too many.  Will bandits do more than just sit there or will they have more elaborate traps.  Will they always attack you no matter how powerful or you are or will they have some forms of self preservation.  Can you make them follow you and attack villages.  Can you earn new titles like leader of a bandit camp or head Avo cleric.

I know that these are not all world questions and you are probably mad but at least they are things to consider.

2. in fable one, after the credits, you can continue to play the game, but it was pretty much pointless, no quests or anything, will there be more side quests in fable 2? like in oblivion, after you beat the main quest, there is still so much content to explore.

also, sorry i forgot to mention 1 more thing, in fable one it was kind of obvious what determined you were or , and another person who played the game could do the exact same things as you to be , and it was mainly just quests that made you , could it be so that, if maybe on your own will, you decided to dump some gunpowder in the woods or something, and then light it on fire, or you don't even light it, something else or someone else does, that it can have a huge impact on the game. sorry if my questions or comments w/e are confusing, basically what i mean is, will fable 2 be so literally every little thing you do, such as chopping down a tree, can have a major impact on your game, so no two players share the same experience, so by this instead of how they said, you can go to one spot, and 20 years later it could be a village, will this be determined by quests you do, or every little action you do on your own will?

What was the first moment that stuck out in your mind when you felt the change from a collection of assets to the world that it had become?

How destructible will the world be in Fable 2? If I hack at a tree long enough, will it fall over? Can I burn a house down if my fireball misses my enemy and nails the nearby wall?

the idea of forgeing ur own weapons sounds really coo, but what about weapon maintence? will my sword go blunt and wont damage an enemy as much if you dont sharpen it, and in a dual will it get chips in it so il need to take it into the blacksmith?

plz show us clips of the hero interacting in the world, like swimming, climbing or even just jumping, it was kind of gay how in fable 1 you couldn't jump.

i want to know more about the magic, im A big magic person/user i want to know the spells also i think there should be summoning magic, but all i really want is to know more about the magic lol

This Idea jsut hit me so sorry if its already been said, but i was wondering with the muskets how are you going to cope with say 8 balverines at once?

ok say the dog can solo some but if you have specialised in ranged weaponry and say 3 balverines are on the dog and the other 5 come towards you, are you going to die pretty much.

the only way i see of this not happoning is either by bringing the multiple shot spell into fable 2 but for the musket or by intriducing a shotgun style musket, and that would be pretty cool xD

Will we see like animal pack characteristics? Like a balverine alpha male that when you kill it the pack will flee for example.

How much difference are we going to see in armor and weaponry? I would love to see if other cultures armor and weapons will be put in the game, like for example somekind of samurai armor and not like in Fable 1 that a better weapon is just the sucky old weapon with a other skin.

• If I buy a cave in the middle of no where, is it possible to build something in it then? Could I build my "own" rooms in the cave and all that stuff?

• If our kids don’t behave in school, will we be able to punish them? Like grounding, yelling and no pocket money for a month. (Will we be able to give them that? Like 20 gold coins every Sunday.)

• Can our children grow up? If they can, will we be able to give/buy him/her a house? Help them with there marriages, visit them and etc.

• The “Pleasure Maker”? Will she be that ugly in the game too? If she will be there and look like that, then I will have some freaking scary nightmares!

• If I choose to play Female, then I really hope that I won’t turn in to a mussel-machine because that is so “not-female-like”…

• In The Sims, your able to change the whole look of your character, both face, breast, arms, butt, legs, feet, and other small things like hair, eyes, mouth and etc. Will we be able to change all these things in Fable 2 too? Or even more?

• Mantles, please tell me that we will have mantles now! I just love to have those long wonderful looking silk/line/leather mantles! It brings life to the character. And hoods, don’t forget them!

• Will we be able to help the poor? Can I buy some huge buildings and let them live in them? And give them food and etc. And if I can, will that make me more ?

• Will I be able to buy a smaller island? Cause it would be so cool to have a own little island with my own house. And maybe my daughter/son could have a house next to me.

Also, in watching one of the demo's presented in the video journals I saw that the player was female. So are we going to be able to have a female hero?
What about the storyline? Will there be any recognition for the hero of Fable 1? Will the world be affected by the influence of this hero, if he is recognized?
What about the bloodline? Will we still hear of it? Be involved in it?
Will there be any disadvantage to paying more attention to leveling up one skill rather than the others? (besides the fact that your other skills will be low leveled)
And finally, instead of owning individual buildings, will we be able to own towns, even islands?
I hope these are some questions for you, and I wish you well on the quest to finish Fable 2.

1) Will the weather affect the envionment like, the trees getting blown in different directions, the water getting ripples from the drops of rain, the rain rising the water levels, droughts causing a dirtier less grassy environment and will there be lighting.
2) The guildmaster was really annoying in fable 1 constantly repeating the same words, will there be multiple sentences that he says or are you going to just shut him up by instead using a pigeon with a note attached to come to you and have the choice to read it.
3) Will there be different forms of travel like boats (would you be able to control them as well), horses, chariots (so you dont have to leave your dog behind, or you want to take someone with you or even like a taxi system)
4) Will there be those wall or fence things from fable 1 stopping you from travelling  around in  the empty forest areas or can you jump in fable 2 so that you can get around or get out of a tricky place.
5) Will the map be increased in size e.g. like using the map from fable 1 the areas  off the edge of the map would be areas on the map in fable 2. (sorry hard to explain)
6) If you rent out one of your houses or buy a shop will people move into them and would they actually exist unlike fable 1
7) Does the guild still exist and has it developed since fable 1

There was a few grammar mistakes in my last post that people might have noticed, but you still should have the general idea of it.

My second question is:
Will the experience points and leveling up still be the same as the last game, or will it be more in depth, because either is fine it's just been running through my head.

Also will the old magic be in the new game, or will it be replaced by newer magic. And this last question is just a minor one really, but will the elements like the wind effect your clothing, like if you were wearing a cape would it flow in the wind if you were running, or if you went into a river and came out the other side would it look like you were wet?

After playing Fable: The Lost Chapters i thought to myself, after completing the ending, what is going to happen to Jacks Mask? So i'm asking you:
Will we see the Jack of Blades mask at all?

What does a level designer look out for to make sure the world of Fable doesn't turn out like all the other many game worlds out there?
Are there any clichés in level design that you avoid like you'd try to avoid clichés in story telling?

how different will the regions be such as will htere be a mountainous region and nea it maybe a desert one.  also will there be set areas where towns can appear if you help little encampments prosper or can you just find one in random places and help it and it grow form that random place.  If so will u be able to make the entire map a giant set of towns (i sincerely hope no and hpe it isnt at random hat would just annoy me)

When I play an RPG I always want to be a spell user, and preferably an overlord kinda thing, so I would like to know some of the spells and their effects, and is there a summon spell? I really liked the Old Kingdom undead creatures in F1, they were my favourite monsters in any game whatsoever, so i'm also curious about what happened to them. And my final and perhaps most important(to me anyways) question: How far can you go in virtuosity & ness, and how will it morph your dog & kid?

Will the atractiveness/scariness modifiers be more complex??
Will alignment affect them??
Will Avo and Skorm be present??
Will there be legendary weapons, like Skorm's Bow or Avo's Tear or the Sword of Aeons??
Will there be something like demon doors??
Will there be professions (just not so complex, like fisherman, farmer, hunter, etc)??
Will it be the game of the year?? I think it will

AH I forgot, will you remember to include the Real Estate rules for buying/selling?? You know, if the merchant is low on stock the prices will be higher, if he has a lot of a certain thing it'll cost cheaper. And you know the buy all (specially gems), sell back thing to gain a lil' bit more of gold.

1: Will the AI be any better? Combat wise?
2: Will there be special events that take place? For example Holidays when it comes time?
3: Will it be based on real time? Depending on the massivity of the game this would be nice, to have it be night when its night for me, light when its day time for me ect.
4: Will there be a finality of alignment? Once you reach perfect or will you stay that way? More realism?
5:Could you show us more on the context sensitive game play? if there is any?
6: After beating the game, what are you doing to keep the game enjoyable? F1 was nice to go around and just kill everything, but had no long lasting appeal, Will there be more quests that arise? Extra places to explore?
                  Will places continue to grow in the world to keep end game fun? Through real time expansion or updates via download?

this isn't a question but most of these questions can be answered by watching the videos and teasers for fable 2

1) Will there be blacksmithing to create or modify weapons & armour?  Could this be one of the job's people are mentioning?

2) I'm kind of anal about when games show a city, and outside the city is a farm with 6 sheep, and that's ALL the food within a day's travel... will there be realistic sizes of food supplies in Fable 2?

3) Will the world be broken up into sections that you can't travel directly between, like the first one, or will it be more like Oblivion where there's big open spaces, then seperate towns etc., or will it be like Morrowind, where you can go pretty much everywhere, and still interact with the rest of the world

4) Can the player pick a random abandoned area and start a camp, and have this camp eventually become a city?  Or will all the potential cities be pre-placed in the world?

5) Do walls, trees, or other environmental objects BREAK during the game, in real time?  Like fires spreading, trees getting cut down, that sort of thing...

6) Is the arena still in this world?  If so, how has it evolved over 500 years?

7) Are there still guards?  Who do they work for?  Can we make them work for our character?

Can specific buildings be built/modified by the player?  (Like the Bloodmoon expansion for Morrowind)

9) What will the time system be like?  1hr game time = 1hr real time?  Or different...

10) Will the characters ALL age, rather than just the player?

I LOVE FLOOR, I LOVE LAMP, I LOVE VIDEO DIARIES!!!

I'd love to be able to buy materials to build my own house or at least have different styles per village to choose from. I'd also like to be able to store things in my house rather than just putting trophy's on the wall. An armour chest, wardrobe etc. and an extra story would be cool - being able to eventually own your own little three story castle complete with staff...nothing like having a bath drawn for you at the end of a long month questing by your own handmaiden or butler...who may or may not be plotting to kill you - you never can trust your staff 100% - they can always be bought.

I love the idea of transporation via horse. It would be great if you could own more than one and keep them in the stable outside your home. Stronger work type horses for longer quests which may require stamina and the frail but extraordinarily fast race horse for quests which require speed etc etc...maybe even a donkey for those who can't budget their Fable coin!  Oh, and armour for the horses etc. hung in a tack room would be cool. This coming from someone who doesn't ride or even really like horses.

One thing that was totally frustrating about Fable was that after my character became the Mayor of Bowerstone I wasn't allowed to take over Lady Gray's house! Come on! I'm the mayer I wanted that house!

Right - thanks for all of your efforts - I am sooo looking forward to Fable 2...I am 40 years old though, and getting older every day...if you guys could have this thing hit the market before I get too old it would be appreciated ;-) as I'm not sure they'll allow me to bring my XBOX into the nursing home!!!

Like in Fable, your character physically changes as he or she ages, and as it happens, you'll find the game introduces another innovation concept, unconditional love. Taking marriage to the next step in this sequel, you can marry and have kids. Molyneux clarified that there are no sex mini-games, which he knew we were thinking about, but he did say that you can have multiple kids and that they would love you unconditionally.

And, if you're , he might point out to you his new tattoo or boast about something awful he had done. 1. Is everything said here still in the works, or has anything changed? If so, what has changed?

2. How customisable will your character be? Hair colour, eye colour, skin tone, etc.

3. Will your children's looks be based on your character and spouse's looks? Or will it be completely generic?

4. Being a female, I'm more likely going to play a female character. I'm looking forward to the marriage and pregnancy aspects of the game. How will pregnancy affect my gameplay, if at all?

5. Playing a female character, can your character marry more than one man? And if your female character gets pregnant by a man who is not your husband (or is a different husband), will your husband have things to say about it?

6. Can this game be modified by players, adding new quests, races, items and such, like Morrowind and Oblivion can be?

7. What's the official release date? I know it's 2008, but WHEN in 2008? An actual date would be nice.

(Q1) will your child be able to quest with you and your dog when he gets to the age of about 20?

(Q2) when you get hurt will your armor take damage as well, making you have to repair it?

Instant travel will it be available in fabel 2 like in fabel 1?, Or will i be flintstoneing it to every where i go? will there be mounts? and if so will they be limited to poney's or can i stride through bowerstone on my trusty white balverine? or better yet some young lass from the pub ;)

In F1, killing almost anything (except for villagers) would result in getting points.  The problem was, all of those things would attack you and you would be forced to kill them.

1.Will there be more creatures (like maybe dear or something like the birds in the F1 Guild) that give you points?

2. Will you be able to side with people like the bandits so that you are able to attack villagers, go on town raids with your bandit clan, and yet still have the bandit camp to be able to get all of the same supplies you need that you would also get in a village?  (yea run on sentences rule.  Also, Bandits were just an example.)

Multi player will it e present? can i enter the arena and battle my friends or via split screen? who is the hero of all heros?

Christs sake, complete three bloody quests and your character is going on 50. Yeah, time flies, but what about the golden years, eh? It's a pain when your character goes from being king stud to wrinkly old sod in the time span of a single mission.

I agree, I mean your sister is older than you when you start but if you max out your skills before you see her at the end with the sword of aeons she looks 20 and you look 80. A what point did marty come back from the future and switch me places with my older self.

Does the arena still exist? If it dose I think It should be the only fourm of multi player you dont need 5 people running around helping one anouther and if this is allowed make the experience divided i dont wanna see a bunch of easy mode fanatics be 100x a higher level than me, as well as for diffuculty F1 did not need a dificulty setting so nither does f2, if you want an easy mode play D&D monopoly and play with third graders so you can win.

for one am getting realy sick of waiting and waiting for this game. i know that this is going to be a great game when it comes out but come on. there should been atless some hint of a date when i can buy it. some how i wouldnt doubt that this game wouldnt be out untill close to 2009. if it releases soon it will be a great game but if people have to keep waiting and waiting for this game, even a demo would do, they would want somthing better then what can be made.

Will Fable 2 be on the PC or Mac, like Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters were?

what means of transportation do u intend to supply to get around in the large world of fable 2.  

will thee be more areas to explore like new caves and other things.

if there are more will we be required to find all of them in the game at some point in the sory or would it be optional but if u went u could find one of the legendary items in the game or a fountain of youth or smething cool along those lines or that of a mini boss or quest.

also like all the others of hte last few post wen is it coming out and i will be happy with a specific estimate no something like 2008 which was acceptable a few months ago plz do a job and take your time just give us a little more to entertain ousrselves or some new information to ponder.

Will there be different types of weapons like in fable 1 (hammer, longsword) or will there just be one type of sword. But if you do get different types of weapons will there be different move sets for different weapons.

And secondly will there be a flat coated retriever as one of the dogs.

Oh yeah and do you get to ride dragons cause that would be cool.

Will the game be restricted to paths or will it be a free roaming environment allowing the player to go into the woods that he sees on both sides of the road?

Will weather actually be an obstacle to the player and be something that effects the player, or will it be for the purpose of giving the game atmosphere only?

1) I agree with Arowanna about the mantles (nothing says Bad Ass like a long, black trench coat), are they going to be in the game and if so, will they be affected by the weather, fluttering in the wind and what-not.
2) I loved F1 and FTLC, but it didn't really have any re-play ability, everything took you the same way, to the same end, I was just wondering if its still like that (not saying I didn't replay them like 5000 times).
3) Will killing things that attack you be neutral? I love being in games, but it was so hard to maintain in F1 because every time I went out to work on maxing my spells I had to level Oakvale (again) just to get my horns back.
4) Will there be different styled buildings? In northern areas, will the houses have more of a Nordic feel to them, as opposed to say an adobe brick lodge in the deserts?
5) Even though its not really a "world" question, I would LOVE to see more on magic combat.
6) Like pretty much everyone else said, will there be new monsters and if so can we maybe see one or two?

P.S. I have to say that Peter Molyneux and the entire Fable 2 team are my inspirations and I hope to wonder get the privilege of working with some of you, keep up the amazing work guys!

I know this is a suggestion rather than a question but this morning i woke from a dream but in this dream i was playing fable 2 but i was the character and i was a vampire and as was my wife and i had unprotected ..... love with her and we had a child that was a vampire and i thought to myself don't some people wish they had powers then i also thought some people want powers not to be but in order to save the ones they loveso why not make vamprism a possibility i also thought for those who did not prefer vampirism what if you could also be a balverine but have it controlable but at the same time uncontrolable like a gift yet a curse like it will pop up when in civilazationsand that feeling that you just killed a friend or your son or daughter or wife you would feel terrible but if you take it out on your foes then it will not be a problem so you would have to use it more often

All I have to say is that I loved fable, yes it had its problems and glitches of what I thought about it but it was still a great game.... cant wait till FABLE 2 comes out and I know itll be great. The loading time in the fist one was too much, and I got so tied of walking.. will there be a variety of horse if none at all. Also about your relatins, if you have two sons in the game and both have different mothers will one of them find out and leave you and take your kid. As Peter said in the 2n or 3rd video diary you can move your family in to your new houses, can you do the same for the castle that you put in the game and does the castle have building upgrade and does it show the workers actually working to get it done? But other than that I put it all in lionheads hands to make the game... luck and please make a short but interesting little demo soon...were all getting a little antsy, well I am. Also, will there be lots of new clothes to wear like crowns if your a king, huge capes if your really rich and so on. And since your going for the everything is living thing, if you go around without food and just keep fighting is that how you gain musle and if you go home to your family for a while will you lose some muscle.
And one more thing... the carriages I saw in the videos, can you ride in them with your family of buy one with a driver for a quick means of transportation?

Another question you might want to consider is: How will the soundtrack create the correct ambientation??, for example nothing thrills me more than having a fight on KOTOR with the star wars background music. The soundtrack is as important as the ambient itself, a truly well-performed soundtrack can make players enjoy more the game. Fable 1 had a soundtrack, but if it can get a lot better it'd be a great soundtrack, you know maybe PM can try to hire John Williams, lol. But if not get a nice orchestra to perform some truly emotional themes for the game. From dramatic themes for those emotional boss fights, to slow and peaceful themes for when we walk through the woods.

Summarized: How will you try to improve the soundtrack?? What importance does the music have for you?? If it is important, how will you manage to make the soundtrack fit various moments of the story-line??

Will you be able to sit down in chairs and just lounge about at your house with your dog and kid on a stormy night. ... to get that this is my house and I feel at home feeling? And will you be able to buy a forge and become better at different abilities like morrowind to make swords to sell and guns to sell, like actally make them with different wood, iron, jewels, and sizes? that would be awsome.

look any main character u could kill in fable1 and lost chapters wont be in fable 2. this includes Jack, your sister, Whisper, Thunder and that smart chick rose.... something. But i want to know will they get mentioned in books and stories?

Is the XBOXLIVE aspect going to be like playing single player, for example you go from town to town and do what ever like quests etc or is it going to be like you have certain custom matches that you create For example  as just the arena?  I think it would be even better if you were able to make the online game have differnt channels, or rooms that do entirely differnt things. Like maby even the whole fable world of albion in one server where you can mingle and do quests with other players another room has the chicken kicking or go a step further and make chicken football.  Another you just  kill tons of monsters in the arena with a few friends but those are are just a few ideas  and i know you got better ones but im just tossing mine out there XD ( and yes i know that i asked a question and then got completely off topic and gave suggestions but it was to of a idea to pass up)

Well, I was just wondering, is the map gonna be COMPLETELY free range?
In fable 1, and TLC, you COULD go pretty much anywhere's, but you were always following a path. Will Fable 2 be the same way?

Well, not JUST for him, but a place where he'll really thrive?

Are there maps designed to put you on the edge of your seat with nerves, and ones to make you sit back and relax, and really enjoy the scenery?

Are all the little cities able to become like the big one we've seen in all the videos of demo's?

Are the maps gonna be fun for us, and not difficult to get through.
I find sometimes I'll be playing a game, and I'll just stop because the character isn't moving around edges or what have you, in the right manner, it's annoying as hell.

So you guys have talked a lot about the dog, but what about the family? I want to know about this family thing. Like can you only have one? How big of a factor will it be in the game? What is the purpose? What can you do with a family in the game is there like a point? Also if you have kids is some Villain going to be able to kill them, or are they just there to be there? I know this isnt a world question and i dont care because i am like that.  Will there be any special forms of unarmed combat like jujitsu, ninjistu, karate, sambo, kung fu, and so on.  Or will still be that piss sorry form of punching like in fable one.  Come on Sir Molyneux lets get crazy an involve some jujitsu.  Yeah.

Will you learn expressions based on your life-style?

1.   What do you have played for the online aplication of the game?
2.   Will the arena still be in albion and will you be able to perticipate in it more than once?
3.   Will your children (when old enough) get jobs or become heros?
4.   Will the hero talk in fable 2?
5.   Is the hero from fable still remembered?
6.   are there other heros in the world?
7.   will there be more than one "Kingdom"
8.   Can you choose to do the bidding of a king and do such things as rescue princesses from dragons and other heroic tasks?
9.   When is the estimated release date?
10.  Will the enemies change much, and will you be adding more famous or even mythical creatures like dragons or demons?

please please please make it so that you can make spells and also i was wondering if you had a pronounciation system so when you put in your name people will chant your name but put in somthing to block ..... ..... i mean naughty words so people can have a feeling of accomplishment when their name is chanted and is there certain attainable powers that affect your allignment by your choices like have wings of Archon or gauntlets of scorn or eye of Avo the choice whether to be able to fly or increased mana or strength so in the end you are just like a god and spears people want spears and rapiers and sailing big worlds

As a developer, I really enjoyed watching Episode Three.  As a Fable fanatic, I was disappointed.  There's some GREAT suggestions from others in here, but I think what I want to see more than anything else is some actual *game play*.  I want to see what the characters look like, how they interact with NPCs, a little of what the storyline is going to be about, features that you know will be shipping (I know it's still a little early for TOO many details), etc.  Of course, I would LOVE it if you would completely spoil ALL the surprises in the game cause I'm DYING to play it! ...but we all know that's not a idea.

If I can, lemme chime in for a second on the idea of online playing.  I'm not *opposed* to it having an online component, but please, please, PLEASE don't make it the ONLY way to play the game.  I was a Final Fantasy nut for YEARS and then had to give up on the franchise because they went online-only with their latest version.  I hate to say it, but I wouldn't buy the game unless I was able to curl-up late at night, by myself and kick some ass on the 360.  (As near as I can tell, it doesn't look like you guys are thinking of online anyway, so this comment probably doesn't matter...I just saw others on here mentioning it and figured I'd better throw in my 2-cents-worth.)

I was a HUGE fan of F1 and TLC...you guys don't even know, I'm SOOO excited for F2 to come out!  Any idea on a release date yet?  I know it's next year...but any idea when?  ...no rush...I don't want you to feel like you have to cut corners because of us fans, but I'd sure love to get my hands on it.  (I'm in Technology...need home-based testers? <grin>)

many games now once you played trough it all you have to erase your file to play all enemies again. Will you let us play the story again once you finished it? and if not will you be able to play at the arena as many times as you like?

cause i loved fable the lost chapters but once you finish the game all you fight is minor enemies and helpless people

To what Ekeman said, the no weapons town was gay(no offense) but if you take it off , if you do hit someone will there be a quick button or emotion to apoligize because you all know youve tapped a button by accident.

please take less serious the achievements most people play the game to get the achievements as fast as they can you get nothing for achievements all you do is finish your games faster so you get bored and obsessed on buying more games enjoy your game time this people spend like 3 to 4 years on the making so you can have fun respect the art on the game and see it all without hurries you’ll get the achievements

Wow all of these questions are overwhelming, all want to know is that if I play it once will I want to play it again and again and again. Two questions:

I think the game should be very because of the update in graphics but i think that we should have a choice to be a man or a woman and we should be able to create our character. in the first game fighting jack of blades was inevitable in the second game will your characters alignment affect the story line you follow?
will villagers all look the same like in many games?
and will weapons have more complex need to be weilded? example
requires 30 percent ness
level 4 phisique
level 5 strength?

In terms of graphics, freeroaming gameplay, map size, quest format, skills and attributes, replayability and gameplay in general, how will Fable 2 compare with TES Oblivion?

As far as I can see, although Fable 2 has a lot of new ideas, like the dog and lack of minimap, it is shaping up to be quite similar to Oblivion (and thats certainly not a bad thing :D). Would you object to that statement?

I've got some questions for you guys...

-Will you be able to change your beginning appearance (black or white), or is the entire planet void of other races...*it was weird in Fable 1 how Whisper and Thunder were the only black people pimpin the scene. (dang i'm white)

-Will there be more armor types? *I've played through Fable 1 13 times and always ended up with dark, grey, or light plate armor.

-Will there be any more dogs, or will mine only be killing hobbs and balvarines?

-Is there going to be any kind of telegraph system, or will i have to run across all of Albium and through the seven levels of Hell just to check up on my wife and say "hi"

-Why would i want to be , when if i wanted, i could be the supreme ruler of the entire world with a few fell swipes of my blade? Could you give me a reason to spare the children throwing stones at me for having a scar.

-Will having a nice title like "king" get me anything? *when i played F1 i decided to take the name "Arseface" each time because it got me more attention than a name like "Runemaster"...-i got so sick of people saying my name that i had to kill them all-.

-Will there be a reason to play the game? It looks like the new advanced world of Albion is doing fine without me.

-Are my parents going to live this time around, or am i going on another crazed rampage for vengence like in F1?

-Where are the architects? Will i be able to order the creation of my own house, or am i going to have to murder a family, hide out in the woods for 8 minutes (the max waiting time of forgiveness in F1), and come back to buy an already overprice building?

-Are there going to be any sports in Fable 2? *I liked beating the crud out of english slummies in F1, but it wasn't really much of a sponge for my rage against the people in poverty. I had to go back to killing innocent people.

-Are there going to be any new monsters? *I liked slaughtering the Hobbs and Balvarines in F1, but it just wasn't enough.

-Is there a real reason to get mairried in Fable 2, or will she just be there to b*tch at me and take my money? *It all sounds great, but WHY???

--Ok, thanks for at least making this thread for me to ramble on about our never- ending list of mindless complaints and begging-- You did a job on Fable 1 and i hope this new installment will far surpass the origional.

In Fable 1 there was lots of water in the world, and in the lost chapters, you were even able to go to the Northern wastes but there was no actual controlled sailing.  Will there be anything envolving boats or being able to go sailing in Fable 2?

I know this one is a bit about the hero, but in F1 I was a little disappointed that while I was out in the sun battling away, that my pasty figure never got more tan.  I had heard rumor before the game came out about the characters changing depending upon your actions as a hero: will users would be more reclusive and pasty, while strength characters and battling in your face would change to more of a sun baked kind of guy.  
So my question really is, will the world wheither you are in the sun or in the shadows affect you characters appearance?

Is the system of gaining muscle and strength and whatnot going to be deeper? Like lifting heavy rocks? Please don't go GTA on us and exclude the fitness part of the game!

Is there going to be different animals that the player can domesticate?

Could the player create different and unique faces, customizing the character's looks before the story starts?

I think it'd be pretty cool if there was a "way of the samurai" stlye of character interaction where A) B) C) and D) options come up that make your character interact with npcs. Maybe A)B)C)D)E)F)G)H)I)J)K)L)M)N)O)P)Q)R)S)T)U)V)X)Y)Z) options instead.

Influences... What were your influences that brought the creative nexus that is the Lionhead team together?  Really how did it all come about with the developers... who were their influences (film, art, music, etc.) that lead them into their current roles and how do those influences shape the work they create today?

I am both interested in sort of the whole overarching "what does it all mean" angle of this question as well as the specific attributes influencing Fable 2 with respect to those experiences affecting their lives personally and professionally.

How destructive will the environment be? Will it still be restricted to thuggishly smashing doors and windows or will you be able to cause significant property damage (arson, ect.)?

How fast does the world progress through time? It seemed to go way too fast in Fable 1 where your hero would have white hair before you knew it.

Are you limited to walking within "the walls" or will the game feature a more Two Worlds type of experience where the hero was free to roam where ever they wished?

I would definetly like to see global change of seasons in the world rather than some places looking a bit more like fall and others more of a summer. Holidays and celebrations would add a unique aspect as well.

Will being and be as noticeable as it was in F1? I mean, its cool to be , but you don't exactly want everyone knowing about it, even if you're you still need people to follow you and it's hard to ask where the men's room is when people flee at the sight of you all the time.

   Will you be able to sit down in chairs and just lounge about at your house with your dog and kid on a stormy night. ... to get that this is my house and I feel at home feeling? And will you be able to buy a forge and become better at different abilities like morrowind to make swords to sell and guns to sell, like actally make them with different wood, iron, jewels, and sizes? that would be awsome.

  Also, will there be lots of new clothes to wear like crowns if your a king, huge capes if your really rich and so on. And since your going for the everything is living thing, if you go around without food and just keep fighting is that how you gain musle and if you go home to your family for a while will you lose some muscle.
And one more thing... the carriages I saw in the videos, can you ride in them with your family of buy one with a driver for a quick means of transportation?
     
   As Peter said in the 2n or 3rd video diary you can move your family in to your new houses, can you do the same for the castle that you put in the game and does the castle have building upgrade and does it show the workers actually working to get it done? But other than that I put it all in lionheads hands to make the game... luck and please make a short but interesting little demo soon...were all getting a little antsy, well I am. What Will Make Fable 2 ? Why Will I Want To Play It?
I write this because so many people ask me this and it would be best if the creators could speak for themselves and make it into a video.

Anything footage about other melee weopons would be nice (axes, maces, hammers etc.) Personally, I'm an axe man.
The only complaint (I realize I'm splitting hairs) I had about Fable 1 was that when fighting someone with an axe and there was no finishing move as there was with the sword. You just kind of kicked him for a while he was down, unlike the sword where you could stab him in heart and pull it out for a nice shower of blood.

Will there be any mounts to ride? i think that would be awesome and can you get capes and make a mage seem cool and just look better overall?

So many questions have already been asked that most of mine have already been voiced.

However, one question I do have is this:  When collecting money for owning buildings (be it rent or profits from a shop) does that automatically generate in your available gold or do you, much like the first game, have to go around and collect the money from each individual building you own?

-A video game, for me, is a conductor that brings a whole new and different world into your home. Fable 2 respectively fits that criteria, but in sense...what makes Fable 2 so special, and what makes it make people that hate video games pop their eyes wide open?
-The villain, Lucien, has not been mentioned yet. What is his role in the story and what makes him a truly maniacal villain?
-Can you give us a sense of how scenes are in Fable 2? Do they have a movie-type drama that makes you roar with joy and burst into tears?
-How productive is the plot?
-You talked about the combat in videos and entries, and I think it's amazing, but what can fans expect from magic in Fable 2 and how does it coincide with the highwayman-esque setting?
-Can you explain more of the plot, and how your character becomes affiliated with other characters? Or better yet, what kind of characters, main or not main,can we expect in this riveting epic?
-Can you toggle your character's face, and are there a wider amount of hair styles?
-You guys talked about how your dog changes appearance depending on how or you are, which is awesome, but can you choose the appearance of your dog off the bat? I mean cmon, wolves are awesome!
-I remember seeing Return of the King in theaters, watching Frodo and Sam climb up Mount Doom, and it was the amount of drama and intensity that made me like that movie...is there that same kind of mood that makes people go, "Wow, they really made you feel like this-or-this---"

15-will the death system also affect your allies or only you?

Is the Grey family still prominent in Bowerstone? Are there, more or less, causes or monarchs to fight for, as was true for musketeers or dragoons, or is it still quests? (not that I'm complaining)

Do we have control over how our character evolves towards  or ? For example,  can we choose the defining physical or character traits of our character as they delve further into  or , or will they absolutely have to be halo toting blue eyed kooks or big horny bastards?

• If I buy a cave in the middle of no where, is it possible to build something in it then? Could I build my "own" rooms in the cave and all that stuff?

• If our kids don’t behave in school, will we be able to punish them? Like grounding, yelling and no pocket money for a month. (Will we be able to give them that? Like 20 gold coins every Sunday.)

• Can our children grow up? If they can, will we be able to give/buy him/her a house? Help them with there marriages, visit them and etc.

• Will we be able to dual-wield weapons?

• Will we be able to assassinate people form the behind? I mean, can we sneak up to someone and cut his/her throat? Or maybe stab them with a sword in there back or there neck?

• If we pull off a “Headshot” with the rifle. Will the head have a “hole” in it or will it fly off?

• Will we be able to hide in bushes, grass, shadows at night (If you play an assassins/rogue/thief), or even climb up in a tree and hide?

• The “Pleasure Maker”? Will she be that ugly in the game too? If she will be there and look like that, then I will have some freaking scary nightmares!
I’m begging you Lionhead, please remove her and ad someone more attractive!

• If I choose to play Female, then I really hope that I won’t turn in to a mussel-machine because that is so “not-female-like”…

• In The Sims, your able to change the whole look of your character, both face, breast, arms, butt, legs, feet, and other small things like hair, eyes, mouth and etc. Will we be able to change all these things in Fable 2 too? Or even more?

• Mantles, please tell me that we will have mantles now! I just love to have those long wonderful looking silk/line/leather mantles! It brings life to the character. And hoods, don’t forget them!

• Will we be able to help the poor? Can I buy some huge buildings and let them live in them? And give them food and etc. And if I can, will that make me more ?

Will the day and night system be extended on as in only certain things happen at certain times of the day such as working in a bar from dinner time till late at night, only being able to work as a dock hand in the morning or only fighting enemies at certain times of the day?

I have a question that a lot of people might forget about. Will their be a weight system like in oblivion where you can only carry a certain amount of things (oh god i hope not)

And will we still have infinite ammunition for ranged weapons?

I dug through some of my old game disks recently and discovered a copy of dungeon keeper which Peter designed back in 1997 when working with Bullfrog Productions. They were bought out by EA UK and I can only speculate that Peter's game rights went with it.

Nonetheless would Lionhead ever consider buying the rights and making a sequel / update for the xbox & PC specifically dungeon keeper because I loved that game but also some of the other theme games as well?

Can you choose what your dog looks like? (because I want my dog to look like my dog in real life. Ha!

How many different endings are there?

Is there a limit to the number of kids you can have? (not that I'd go insane and have 30 kids)

And the one question I would really love answered, will there be a horseback mount available?  (I have doubts given the fact that the dog must be around you and he'd have to continuously sprint with the horse during travel, but the question has merit)

all i want to know is why cant bows be in the game? its a fantasy game i dont see why they are being cut

When you kill bandits or hobbs in F2 will the style of picking up fallen items be the same or will it be more worth while?  In F1 when ever I slaughtered my enemy, sometimes they would drop a health or will potion that I already had a million of to begin with.  It would be sweet to see whatever the person was carrying on the dropped.  I think it would make being more worthwhile.  When you kill villiagers, they drop all their money and food.

Also I found issues with the people of Albion in F1 repeating things that happened in previous profiles.  In one profile I would kill my sister and get the sword of Aeons, and people would be yelling about it in every profile I created afterward regardless of my personality alignment.  Will this be fixed or will I have to hear about my dead sister in F2?  

Along those lines, people in Albin didn't have much to say unless they were repeating over and over about how they wanted beer or how they need to watch out for me, or how my title of Arseface suits me.  Will there be more of a variance to the people in F2?

Will there be refernces to the original fable, like what happened to Thunder/Whisper etc.?

First You said we can buy everything. But do we have to kill the owner to be able to buy it? Or will we be able to just buy them and then manage them with actual people not just closed doors. Will we be able to develope friendships with our tenants? Or can we be opressive landlords? If can develope friendships with our tenants will there be like a sad scene if we evict them? If we do can we just relocate them to another one of our properties we aquired? When we own shops like that place you mentioned can we hire a person to run it and we go get what we will sell in it? What kind of responcibilitys will come with owning shops and Renting? Will there be quests given by tenants?

How will towns work? Can we make towns go bye bye? Can we enslave a town? Can we be elected to rule a town? If so on ether will it come with things to do or will it be just a title? On ruling a town will we be able to change it? Collect taxes and distribute it amoung schools, jails, developement, and other things in towns? If we can rule how will that work? How will we interact with with towns?

You said we can buy everything how will that work outside of towns? Can we buy little cottages out in the woods? Can we buy things like loggers, mines, and other things like that? If so how will that work? Can we work in the business or can we hire people to do that? Can we actually watch them do the work? Or will it be like Fable and just closed doors? Can we buy land and then develope it the way we would like, such as building a town there? If so what extent would that be and what kind of things would that entail? You said that there would be side quests involved in these things are the multi choice or only lead to one result? Or is half half? How Do we purchase these places anyway? Do we talk to the owners, find them and stake claims, go to a gov building and buy them there, Steal the deed or other?

What groups can we join? Can we form a bandit group and be the terror of Albion? Or can you form a group o knights and be the savior of Albion? Can you join the merchants guild or other guilds? Can you form an assasins group and kill off people for money? If so how will that work? Will they be unlimited killings or only a certain numbers? If you are a bandit can you rise to the top of a group? Like if it was the origional after you killed Twin Blades the took you as their leader. As a bandit can you attack traders on the road? If you can join some kind of merchants guild then can you help control prices to make you money? If you don't join them and keep your prices at a super low causing them to loose money will they try to destroy you? How will groups in the world work? Will there be compition between groups?

How will the environment be? Can you destroy houses? Will they rebuild if you do? If you wipe out a town can it come back to life? If you burn a town to the ground like at the begining of the first game will it come back to life like the first game did? Can you rebuild what has been destroyed?

How big is the world exactly? How do we get around? Is it really free roaming like others here have said? Will there be floods and other desasters? Will a once easily crossible stream during a nice day become a raging rapids during a downpore? Will weather effect quests and how you interact in the world? What kind of world will we see? How big can we make towns in the world? Can we RULE THE WORLD?

How will aging work? Will we age to fast? That wouldn't be to fun if we have such a great world to explore. How will experience work? How will lvling up work?

If we kill everyone in a city, will they miraculously respawn back into the city like in fable one, Or, since the player can have children this time around, will the entire population of Albion be reproductively simulated?

What has happened to our old favorite towns other than Bowerstone?  Peter M. mentioned that Bowerstone has grow and become a large city.  Will there still be an Oakvale... etc?  Will there be a hero's guild like in F1 or are you on your own?

last, i was wondering if you could choose a different breed of dog than the one presented.

Can you choose to be greedy and keep all the money yourself and leave your child and wife poor?

Can you customize your weapons, armour etc?

This is not a question, just a comment: I think it'd be great if killing people would also affect your weapon, kill bad guys your weapon gains some kind of healing etc effect on it, killing villagers and other guys would give your weapon absorb etc effect on it.

Will there be any limit how much you can carry?

Can you swim, dive etc?

Can you kill a shopkeeper and take all of his stuff?

Can you use people as shields?

Will there be throwing axes, knives etc?

Can you burn houses?

1. my main thing that i wanna know is what is the armor and weapons gonna look like i mean are they gonna look badass.

I presume that in Fable 2 you won't allow the player to kill kids again (which is understandable). Now in Fable you stopped this by taking away the players weapons in Bowerstone.

In Fable 2 you can have kids you have said. I would guess that this would be like Fable where you can marry people in each town, and could you also have a kid in each town? If this is the case and there ends up being little kids running around all towns, then err....how do you balance that? You can't just take away our weapons in every town right because we need to be allowed to smash up some houses and buy them. At the same time the game can't receive the negative press associated with killing kids.

So how exactly will this all work? Kids only appearing in one town? kids just being invulnerable?

This occurred to me after playing Fable: TLC today. I very much doubt you would take away the players ability to run riot in towns but I was wondering if this is going to be affected due to having all the children in the way.

Here are my questions about the world:
1) Will the old teleportation stones still be laying around for the player to use at will?(personally i felt that it made things a bit to easy)
2) Will we have a little more free roaming then in the first one(because after a while the narrow pathways kinda weakened the experience for me)
3) We we be continent locked like we were for the most part in the first one or will we be able to go to other continents that are drastically/noticably different the one we start on.
4) will there still be demon doors hidden through out the world? If so will their requests be more riddle/puzzle like in nature?
5) will we(our hero) require any acrobatic skills to make it through any areas?
6) will weather effect the environment and in turn the hero (i.e: heavy rain in open field makes mud=slippery road.)
7) Will certain enemies stick to certain areas of the world?
will the people of each region of the world have their own style of clothing that is noticeably different then others?
9) Will the enemies know how to use/interact with the environment in combat like the hero?
10) Will swimming be allowed at all?
11) Will seasons be present, and if so will they effect the world?
12) will we see general wild-life(like a deer, frog, cows, etc.)
13) will our spells and weapons visibly effect the world around us?(i.e. I cast a fireball at a tree, will it begin to burn if it is strong enough or is done enough?)
14) Will magic be more intertwined/common in the world(i.e: will the hero be the only one who actually knows how to use different kinds of magic or will there be people, enemy and npc, who can use it too.)

i need to see how you've worked aging into this story.  Is it like fable 1 where you age every time you improve your stats, or is it more complicated this time?  personaly, i thought aging was too rapid last time around and the only ways to decrease your age were really hard to achieve.  I think it would be cool if your eating habbits and sleeping pattern affected the way you age.  Second i was wondering if you were going to expand on the ideas of and and rather than having just a linear allignment, making it more like a square or a 3d shape.  That would make it so you couldn't make up for murder just by eating some tofu, because the two are unrelated.

Is the world big and are there different contenents to go to and if so will the transportation be fast and quick and will there be many ways of getting around like a horse or like a stage coach kinda deal? Will there be more to explore in each little map or will the areas even be cut into sections and in these areas will the paths be just straight ahead like before or will I be aloud to get lost(which I would prefer)? When your dog urenates can he do it on fallen enemies or nocked out ones? Will you have the choice of a mutt or a siberian husky...? I would also like to know if you can swim cuz that would be a great +. And if so will you have bad guys come into the water after you and try to drowned you? because im sick of games where i cant drown my oppenent its like water is the solitude from bad guys when you jump in the bad guys just yell and scream then walk away or they will just shoot at you until the bullets cant reach you. Will the trees be climbable(im not sure if it'd be cool adition or not just another question)? Will the landscape be destroyable  like trees and bridges(swimming would come into play) And other things and if so will the trees grow back again over time and will the things that were man built get rebuilt and while it gets rebuilt will you see people working on that building or object? With the aging will it go slower cuz I didnt like looking like an old fart half way through the game. And if aging is slower will the environment age just as slow or will the environment age faster so the bridge that you destroyed will be rebuilt a couple days after its destruction instead of a week or will the environment even age? Will there be wild life on the landscapes that your enemies can use or abuse? Will towns just start to grow out of nowhere because some travler decided to settle then that settlement grew into somthing more? And i thinks thats all I got for right now and i know went into some pretty extreme detail but i thought i just might throw it out there.

---I want to know if there will be some responsibility attached to owning property? Like owning a castle, mine or town, actually means theres stuff you got to do, like recurring quests or some sort of resource gathering (in RTS terms)? I think that would be awesome. It will also make the game more interesting in terms of having stuff to do other than quests. And you have that responsibility, so if you start slacking on income...the property could be taken away?

---How will gaining weight be different this time around? In the first, it was entirely by choice. Thats , but it'd be cool for it to be easier to gain weight, especially if you are becoming idle in a town or not fighting enough.

---Will you change the battle stance? I dont think its wise in swordplay to have your sword over your head lol

---Also, will there be sheaths? Itd be cool to skin animals and make sheath coverings with their skins, o r other fabrics and materials (other garments could be fashioned with fabrics, like capes or hats) I also ask about sheaths because I just think it'll be incredibly cool to have a sword on my belt or back, complete with its own scabbard, and a musket hanging on my shoulder...god, I cant wait for this game.

---Will you get to choose the breed of dog?

---How will childhood play out? will there be more decisions that will determine items you have when adult, friendships, stuff like that?

----Will there be jobs you can be hired to do to earn some extra spending money for questing indispensables?

just wanting to know if your hero can have a secret identity (eg. spiderman, batman) so when ur being a hero you can put on a costume and when your walking down the street if you dont have the costume on no one will notice you.

will there be a random quest generator, so that after you have finished all the main quests with ur god like charcter you can go around terorising bandits and trolls and pretty much any other living creature

In Fable 2 yes roaming the land will be important but how many more lands are there? Quaility not quntity? Can we go into other relms? Like the land of  the dead can we go and see/ interact with spirits from beyond exld guildmaster, jack, or other significant characters? Can you intereact with the land scape ie: climb a tree, jump down a waterfall. when or if you can dig will the ground stay upturned unless you put it back? When masses of zombies if any climb out of the ground will it cause the earth to shake? instead of bodies turning to dust in .5 seconds can we hide the body in a cave or something? will leaves fall realisticly when seasons change if they do? If i climb a tree and fall out can a broken branch cut my cheek? Can you pick up random things off the ground for wepons? ex: a rock or broken branch. Hmmm, looks like I'm one of the last.  I hope you guys haven't got bored reading the mountains of questions!  Heres the context of my question:

In Fable, the world sometimes felt a little "Fake".  For example, a lot of the NPC's would look exactly the same and act the same.  Merchants would just spawn at the start of maps and mindlessly walk across with no actual destination.  NPC's in the town would pick up magically appearing crates and walk back and forth depositing them in other locations.  I just wished that everything could be "joined up" and feel like it was working.  Sure, they were supposed to make scrumpy cider at Orchard Farm, but I never saw merchants from there journeying across the countryside towards Bowerstone.  Beautiful as they were, the maps didn't feel like part of a world but instead like a series of restricted "islands" bearing no relationship to one another.  None of it was particularly convincing and didn't make the world believable.

So, below is my short question (At a convenient length for your video diary!)  =)...

In Fable, the world sometimes felt a little "Fake".  How will Fable 2 make me feel like I'm part of a living, breathing world?

I have kept updated on some of the interviews with people from Lionhead, specifically Peter Molyneax.  In these interviews, often enough he has mentioned that in Fable 2, in all his game for that matter, he wants the player to sit down and feel like he is in the game.  To make the feel loved, to make the player feel the emotion the games creates.  So, a lot of what he has said is about emotion.

Now, in all my days as a gamer, there have been two series of games that have specifically made me feel the raw emotion the game generates.  One being Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and the other being Halo.

Where I am leading to this, is that Halo especially had a gigantic impact on the gaming community, and if I ask anyone they would agree that Halo's storyline was truely gripping, and had how many people pre-ordering the game, to 'finish the fight'.  Now, that is power in a video game.  And where did it come from?  The storyline, the emotion it created and how it made the player feel.  When I played Halo, when my friends played Halo, we felt as if we were in a different world. Is that not what you are trying to do with Fable 2?

(1) So, it may be just because I am a Halo fan, but seeing as how large of an impact Halo has made, I would like to see the emotion you are trying to create be compared to that which was in Halo.  If you can prove to me that could pull me into the Fable Universe as so many were pulled into the Halo universe, then your goal of making the player feel emotion has truely succeeded.

(2) What will create the replay value for Fable 2? Fable 1 was fun to play again in my opinion, but so many I know thought otherwise.

Will the world of fable 2 have many secrets? places for explorers to find?

How is the 'every tree has leaf physics' going?
(My friends dont believe its possible)

Will there be a well protected road through Darkwood??
(honestly how did those merchants do it?!?!)

Will there be mountains to explore with hidden caves full of ancient lore?

Will we learn more about the Old kingdom?

Is your compression method the best out there??
(It looks like it has to be with all the stuff your putting into the game)

How long will the story be?

is there going to be a world map because just having a dog show you around would suck and that beets the thing peter said about playing just by looking at the mini map in fable 1

is there going to be CG cut scenes in the game now like the final fantasy ones since the trailer was CG (for people who don't know CG means computer generated )

but then again the graphics looks crazy enough with out that stuff

could it be possible that the hero in fable 1 didn't die and through a course of events become your mentor in fable 2 .since jack of blades was kind of immortal the hero can also be like that

well a little late here, but hopefully this gets read.
personally, i loved the original fable and even fable:the Lost Chapters but a few things could be fixed, and i guess i'm putting my suggestions into my questions

1) in fable the diversity of weapons and clothing was...well it was a little lame. for longswords/katanas and longbows/crossbows every level ( from steel-master or yew-master) they all looked nearly identical. i think that alot of the items should look different so that each player could wield his/her (her?) weapon of choice and feel like thier character looks "cool" to them. this is the same with the clothing/armor. the only things different from the norm. were the legendary weapons, that were often frustrateing to get (bow of skorm). maybe creating your own unique weapon of choice corresponding with your chosen area (marksmen, swordsmen), that would be awesome. I also believe that this is a huge part of gaming, sort of haveing a certain level of admiration and love for your character. so can i expect any changes/improvements in that area?

2)are there any new areas or changes in pre-existing areas? like bowerstone or the new area in lost chapters?

3)will there be silver keys? and will they be just as cleverly hidden?

4) any real specific references to your character from the last game?

5) will the guild of hero's still be around, and will your training be there? (i hope)
