It was obviously wishful thinking. Most best selling games seem to be released in the fall- including on Halloween. Probably done so that people could buy them as presents for late December. . . gets the most units sold at one time, which is , since they need to see how well a game sells in order to decide how long to continue promoting and making it, as well as whether to bother making downloadable content. On a seperate note, do not rush their debugging, eager people! Several would-be great games were ruined by unfound errors in programming.

You and me both. We know Peter has a release date picked. We just have to wait untill it's time to reveal it. Either way it'll be less than ten months. That's not long seeing as I've been waiting since 2006.

Take your time Lionhead I'm Playing Fable TLC again. I'm going to see how the Arcade version is. I have a feeling that once Fable 2 comes out I won't enjoy Fable TLC as much.

I agree this is painful not knowing when Fable 2 shall be released, but i would honestly prefer the bugs to be killed when the game is released. i would rather not have some of the stuff happen that happens in other games with glitches like being stuck in a corner thus not being able to move and thus ending in player demise....Argh!!! I hate that crud!!!

It doesn't matter gamefaqs is WRONG!!! If you even read the blog you could see that it just so happens that in May, THE LEAVES DON"T TURN BROWN!!! MAY is spring not fall. The date would have been relayed to us first via blog/dev diary/press release/ E3/ etc.

Hmm....I knew the title to this blog was a bit misleading. I had a feeling that LH hadn't released a date just yet.

Just the same, speculation on when Fable 2 will be released is going to be wild through out the rest of the year. The Gamestop I go to said they got a listing for October. There listing, though not confirmed by LH is going to be much closer than the prediction of a May release.

There's all four different dates I've heard about so far all in 08

1: May 30th
2: Dec 12th
3: Oct 27th
4: September Sometime

As you all would probably know It's supposedly gonna be out in the Fall or when brown leaves are about say whateva you want
but my guess is It's gonna be out in May if I'm correct that's when brown leaves start to magically appear. (hahaha) sorry Chaoto that you don't agree, I'm not trying to cause an argument but doesn't Autumn start in May or June?

And Moneyready, I'd reckon people to take into account the normal time for Autumn on the calendar months. If I'm not mistaken, Autumn is the months of August, September and October.

From what i understod, Eb games tells you the date.
If you pre-order, you can get it at 11PM on20 or october, and for none pre orders its the 21, but you basicly gotta go on the 21st otherwise its gunna be sold out.
