150 thousand movies? At 1 Mb a minute I make that about 540 Tb of disk space! No wonder it was creaking. Mind you with disk advances in the last 4 years, I'm sure replacing them will free up a few acres of space

Great to hear about the allocation increase, a wonderful way to assure TMO-ers that they're still being supported. Great decision guys.

P.S. I make that an average movie length of 3'36" Sad amn't I?

Extra 20 Meg is great news (especially for those studios without the prestige of winning month end badges ) Nice to know Lionhead still puts time, money and effort into The Movies, so thanks guys, its really appreciated.

Ick! Well, I'm going to have to do without a back-up of my movies then. I pretty much deleted the movies I made when I had the game installed on my parents computer. Oh well. And for the extra 20 mb, I guess it doesn't make a difference to me at all because I don't make enough movies as it is. Well, looks like it's time to clutter it up with some more cheesy movies.

Thanks for the 20MB - it's always a idea to back up your own films, and to download your favourite other films rather than just streaming them.

My archive of 700 films exists for that purpose - cyberspace can very quickly become no space at all. It doesn't take much for our creations to be lost forever unless someone has their own library of classics.
