Did you guys forget the hardcore gamers? Do you really think someone is going to stand infront of their TV for eight + hours danceing around or walking in place or hacking and slashing non stop? Instead of going the tried and true path to push a quick buck with another WoW clone, you guys are advancing our definition of what a video game is. You're taking a risk whether or not people will even accept this new type of game, and for that, sirs, my hat is off to you. (if I were wearing a hat, that is, but as I'm not wearing one we'll have to stick with a metaphorical hat) Way to keep the industry looking to the stars.

re: Lionhead @ E3 2009

The concept of a highly interactive AI and motion system is interesting to say the least. Given time and development, it could open brand new doors for genres such as RPGs where decision making, character interaction, and morality comes into play. Overall I was fairly impressed despite some of Milo's responses being a bit...off in some places, but this is a brand new technology, so it would be unreasonable to expect it to be perfect right away.

If games like the Elder Scrolls series were developed to use such a technology, the immersion would be incredible. Instead of pressing buttons, the game would react to your exact movements for attacking, blocking, etc. All they would have to figure out is how to make spell use snd spell/weapon selectment quick and easy without entering a menu. Natal voice recognition perhaps?

re: Lionhead @ E3 2009

omg, omg, OMFG!!!! This is adding the addition of multiple monitor outputs to coincide with the four controller ports. This is for ease of use of multiplayer gaming and revolutionizes single system display capability. This will also aid in multiple applications during the dashboard, to accommodate vista and media center. During gaming imagine a game like a Rockband simulation and third party instrument devices each playing a different band member for a single band on multiple displays from a single system. This is without the need for hubs, another system, and game which are obsolete requirements. Each port in conjunction will allow independent play on individual monitors run on separate display processors capable of full high definition. This will continue in the popular multichip format used in current generation platforms. This is an added marketing tool for those who pursue ease of use for multi-gaming and substantially increase the marketability of the system. The present focus has shifted to marketing online gaming but they forget the feature is primarily designed to sell systems, but this comes at a cost. So instead of selling more systems it sells the feature more than the system. The feature is lucrative but do not maximize the systems potential sales. This results in the lost of system profit for those who love the same multiplayer experience without the hassle of a subscription and more expenses. This is an audience that is not fully tapped into because of the lack of options, and inconviences. This primarily for those who do not venture into online gaming which is more expensive while not discouraging the multi-gaming experience? If a lan is used in these next generation systems it will still move forward in the evolution of gaming, for example two systems can facilitate 8 players on 8 separate monitors, rather than the present only facilitating eight players four to a monitor split screen (lan)).

Christopher Lamont Trice
665 Jefferson Street
Portsmouth, Virginia 23704
