Mike West (Gothnak)
excellent blog already answered one of the questions on my last entry– the extension
of the base Concrete Editor used on Fable is called “FablEd”. Geddit?

Hm, that's better. Quite actually. But, personally, still not quite elaborate enough.

Yay. Blue Dragon talk. I just finished disc 2. Got stuck at the end of the disc, because my levels were apparently too low again. Happens to me every single time with these JPRGs. Damn.

Anywho, about the game itself... I don't usually go for the fighting systems in JRPGs, I'm in it for the experience, but this time kinda like it. I think it's the whole versatility of it. It's about how much you can play around with the different skills and whatnot. One thing that really struck me in the game was the amount of stuff they hide in the levels. It's kinda ridiculous, but it's also something to look for as it is sometimes forthwhile and even interesting, like the books.

Ah... the music... The Eternity... I don't what it is about that song, but I gotta say I like it. Seriously though, people should use more music with lyrics in games. It's very rare, and I don't really know why. Words have power. How about Fable? There was that one thing you guys mentioned, but I don't know whether that was something purely comical.

re: Blue Dragon versus me

I need to get a sexbox 360 so I can play these games everybody keeps going on about, you're making me jealous :(

re: Blue Dragon versus me

Yeah, i just finished disc 1 as well.

I thought the demo was tosh tbh, but much like Paul i can't stop playing it, just finished the first disc.

i will say that we at LH do get free MS published games (w00t!), which is why we both played it after finding the demo pooey... I'm hugely surprised, but as opposed to Paul, i don't care about replaying the wagon trail, and i hated the Devee dance... i do however like the Pirate woman in the boob tube...oh dear....

re: Blue Dragon versus me

Shouldn't you all be working at Fable 2 damnit :D
Don't mind the temper, just being jealous.

Anyways, I'm looking forward of playing this game, but atm i'm waiting to buy Halo 3, so i guess i'll better wait till i see the game lowered in price (wich is not that of a tactic when you consider how many games i'm planning on waiting for too get lowered in price ;))
So, how do you guys rank it against the great JRPG's of all time?
