About 400..I got bored after that. Was building up my CM so that I could use all my "Ages Of" potions so that I could max out my stats before using the age reduction trick at Avo's Temple.

Go to Cliffside path and then turn on your physical sheild (more sure you have tons of will potions) then just wait for the unlimited dead to rise and just hack away to your hearts content.

About hour and a half if I remind correctly. This is a trick that most players use to build up their CM to max out their EXP, that is why once you are into the game it is wise to keep your potions until then.

I got to about (the memory is rough...)100 and drank all my potions, I did the same, with the phsycial shield-undead-beating "cheat". Gets quite boring after a while though.

Yeah, I Know It Gets Boring But I Found a Easy Way To Get A High Combat Multiplier!

2day i was using a bow and was continusly shooting guards that kept popping up in Greatwood lake and i got about a 60 CM in about 10minutes if that!, i dsont know if it will work for you but every arrow i shot would give me about a 1CM so it was only about 60arrows!!

Though not nearly as respectable as 400 I once obtained 245. The method was simple:

During one of the "staging" areas before the final battle with Jack O' Blades when all of the birdlike creatures attack you endlessly. I cast the shield spell, followed by slow time and then with Harbinger equipted I used the assassin's dash to gain the edge over the opponent.

I did this continuously until haphazardously I neglected to recast the shield spell, thus losing the mulitplier. I never tried after that one time; I just wanted to see if it went past 100. Which it does, apparently. Dunno, maybe one day I'll break out the old version of Fable and give it another crack.

Well, my highest is 5000. But that's just because I had alot of time, alot mana potions and didn't have anything else to do in the game - literally. Yes, you may call it obsessed.

Hey, thanks Sen7ientPro7ocol (You are relpying to me, right? ). Just in case you want to know, it took me approximately 5 hours and close to 200 mana potions.

But yeah, that's just me. When I play a game, I really play it - I try to max everything as much as I can - or until I get bored, which is what happened in this case. Yes I know, I'm obsessed.

off course to you man. Yeah I know how it must feel for five hours straight, breaks....no breaks. what were you most used spells at that time? mine was Enflame and assassin rush, mixed with harbinger and lots of mana potions, if only I played longer then maybe....just maybe I could reach anywhere near 5000.

Well I took 10-15 min breaks inbetween each hour. Anyway I use three spells-physical shield, assasin rush, and slow time. The trick to getting a high combat multiplier is not to get hit, obviously - physical shield takes care of this, it takes the hit, not you, which is why your mana goes down. But now another problem arises. You see, most enemies are pretty quick in swinging weapons or shooting arrows - alot of enemies swinging and shooting together will take your mana down in an instant when having physical shield on, that's where slow time comes in - it makes everything super-slow so that they'll only get 1 or 2 hits instead of alot more. Now, this seems , but when I tried this combo it was near perfect, there was just one more problem. Somehow while using slow time, and maybe they have a spider-sense, my enemies would still every now and then be able to block my attacks, which is why I use assasin rush - it's much quicker than actually running around your enemy to hit them from behind where they can't defend. Alone, any one of these spells are , but not brilliant - but together they make an unstoppable force - as long as you have mana potions, and there are so many of those. No more struggling, now you can complete those seemingly impossible "Without-a-Scratch" boasts with ease and it really comes in handy when you're trying to kill more 10 more hobbes than Whisper. Man, did that irritate me, but when discovered this combo...One more thing though, don't use multi-strike on an enemy. Your combat multiplier increases faster if you just hit an enemy to death.

And there you go. I always have physical shield on, at all times throughout the entire game - in other words, I should never see my hero without it while I play a game. Then I just use a combo of slow time and assasin rush when I need to - perfect. Now there's one more ingredient to add, which I will leave to you to discover. The only thing you need now is a place that will keep spawning enemies, shouldn't be too hard to find - there's a couple of them. Oh, and one more thing - reaching a high combat multiplier with this combo is very easy, not hard at all, because you never get hit - so nothing to worry about. Anyway, hope that helps. .

Aah, so you too have discovered the awesome power of the Physical Shield, yes it is indeed a great spell. It is the foundation and lifeblood of my combo, without it, the whole thing falls apart.

I spent a whole day (cause i'm a sad fucker who likes to brag) with Physical Shield and a *** load of mana potions, killing the unlimted amount of undead near Lychfield.

My HCM was like 666 (on my guy muhahahahaha) and like 10043 on my guy. I was happy. Until my CD scratched and I wiped the memory off my computer. I'm such a gay I didn't even get a screenie. But i'm getting it again and definately getting a screenie of it.
