you obviously know nothing about it. It was delayed because of people at microsoft needed to process it and get it up on live, being on holiday. Lionhead have already sent the video off to microsoft and now that the people from microsoft are back from holiday they can get on to it. We should no get it mid january i.e. in the next week or so.

I think nasos_33333 meant CES which it this week. Speculation is that they'll release the Lionhead Video Diary #4 With Footage from CES 2008 which is from the 7th through the 10th. If that’s the case we may see it Friday or maybe early next week. It's all speculation of coarse

There are problems with that

1. These people we have no idea when they come back from that holiday, could be in a month or more

2. It is so long now, if they wanted, someone would have taken care of it, i mean do they NEVER work ??

3. Probably MS wants it for the E3 this year, that would be in many months, so they could easilly never release it now, since it is i their hand

4. Sam said would contact them, and get an answer, if Sam can't get even an estimate so far, can we expect the video ? Not really, could come in many many months for all we know

5. When those crucial guys get back to work eventually, how do you know their first priority will be that video, and not 1.000.000 other things that could be much more important for basic Live functions ???

 

All in all, we better forget it even existed, after all it is almost a month now, and probably will be many more

The 4th video diary has already been sent to Microsoft, which means it's already been edited.  Therefore, I doubt we'll see footage from CES added into the diary since it's already finished (and has been for about a month).  Sam has begun working on the 5th video diary, so if anything we'd see it then.  But definitely not the 4th.

Also, to those of you who speculate that they're waiting until E3 to release the 4th video dairy, I don't know why you guys would think that.  Like I said, Sam has already begun work on the 5th, so I seriously doubt they'd wait 5 or more months to release the 4th when they've clearly already started work on the 5th. 

Let's wait and see if Sam can come up with a possible release date, if he can't come up with one, i would not hold my breath for that video

 

The whole situation is a bit sad, i mean it is so many weeks now, MS should know better than make its fans sad IMO

Honestly I think they're still having issues with XBL and that is what is delaying things.

Yes, nasos you obviously are ignorant when it comes to anything on this topic.  Think the whole situation over.

- Xbox live has been having many problems since mid to late- Decmeber, around the same time the video was submitted.

- Everybody in many parts of the world just got off of Holiday BREAK.  Break as in they don't have to work on ANYTHING.  That means that all of those Xbox Live issues could have only gotten worse, not better.

Now, Microsoft gets back from Holiday Break.  It's Wednesday (just a random day last week, not really the day they got back).  They have to get to CES in the next 3-4 days.  That means there are 3 or 4 days that they had to fix live, put up content, and get all there presentation stuff ready.  YEAH RIGHT!  It is impossible for a company to do that.

My point?  Quit your complaining, because the reason it hasn't been released is that Sam is the only person physically possible to put it online, but, respectively, he doesn't want to stagger the release dates.  It will come out soon and it will, definitely, come out long before E3.

Dear Microsoft,
    All of us Lionhead fans have been waiting patiently for the Video Diary #4: Fable 2 and are starting to get a little bummed that it has been delayed for so long.  To get to the point, even though there are several people, probably people who would be needed, can you guys just forget about making Xbox Live stable and release the video?  At least, that way everbody, everybody who will actually be able to get onto Live with all the current problems that is, will be able to look at the little picture while they continuously get an error message while downloading the video.

It was Sam's decision to hold off on putting the video up on this site because he wanted it to come out at the same time as it does on XBOX live.  Look back some pages and you'll see his post on it.

Well theyve waited a very long time so i could see how they are getting eritated so easily and the game isnt coming out for at least 7-11 months(my speculation) so they might not make it BLOCKED SCRIPTInsertText('');

Sorry, I just don't buy into these conspiracy theories that nasos and yourself have mentioned; such as M$ being greedy with the Diary or deciding to delay the video till E3.  There is no logical reason for a conspiracy over a Video Diary.

Does anyone know when the last time content has been put up on XBOX Live Marketplace? The only content I've seen is Arcade games and to my understanding these are specifically time released content determined months in advance.  I haven't seen any new game media or demos since before the general Holiday vacations take place.  I'm sure there is many other videos other than the Vid diary 4 waiting as well.  I'm sure M$ is focusing the majority of the time on fixing Live which still is having problems. 

Sega announced today that tommorrow on Live a demo for some game called "The Club" will be released.  That is first new content I've seen announced so maybe there is a slight hope for those of you who can't stand the delay.  At the very least it's nice to see new content on the Marketplace.  Check out the Prototype developer Video Diary that was just released today if you need some Video Diary action to hold you over, though it's not on XBOX Live yet(It's on the net though *IGN*).  Hopefully XBOX LIVE get it's stuff together and we'll see the infamous Video Diary #4.  May your disappointments end soon.

I wasn't very interested in the Diary until Gradius said that it will answer a major question.  So any speculation on what question that may be?
