I've also heard (again, mere rumour and speculation) that it might be Banjo-Kazooie 3.  Frankly, I didn't even know they were making another, ha ha.  But I suppose we'll find out when (and if) we find out. 

But, as we can see, it's thankfully not going to be Fable 2.  Agreed?

Oh, don't get me wrong - I've very much been looking forward to Alan Wake for a long time. I think it's a potentialy superb game. But as I don't own a 360 and have no plans to buy a 360, I rather cynicaly don't care if the game gets cancelled for it. I'll be playing on PC, where the game will apparently be able to run to it's full potential

I was more speculating if they were having problems getting it running on the 360 the way they want. It is, after all, apparently a game with some tremendously complicated systems and huge areas in it, and are going for photorealism with the sort of dynamic daylight system I vaguely recall they couldn't get working on one of it's recent big racing titles.And to be blunt, after the console's last big game had to be pared back in some respects (running below HD resolutions, for example) I can't help but wonder about it's upper limitations when faced with something as complex as Alan Wake may be.

Can't say I ever thought of it resembling fahrenheit in any particular way, though - it looks far more action-driven for one thing...

Me too, there is something about the words Fable 2 and cancelled in the same sentence that makes me die a little inside everytime I read it.  It's suprising this hasn't been locked yet, an answer was given and the rest of the thread isn't Fable 2 related.

As would I, I think I would have a nervous breakdown! I remember when it was only a rumor, until Shane Kim confirmed it. Man I can't tell you how excited I was to hear that, because honestly I didn't expect them to make Fable 2. Glad I was wrong
