yea, but kit, you are paying $10 extra for the DLC and everythin else that comes with the CE.  If it is a amount of content, the others may spend $10 for just the content.

an artbook, and another book that was like Halo 3's limited edition. That was awesome. I dont really care about an extra DVD or content. I just want something that i can look at in the car while im comin home from bestbuy. (unless im driving of course lol)

but if there was an artbook with just pics and an info book like halo's with information on monsters such as origins, average stats like weight and height. And what was really cool was the page where thy showed the height and size differences. In case you didnt see it, they had all of the halo creatures lined up along with MC and a typical human. really cool to see it with balvarines, hobbes, people, your hero maxed out (way bigger than a normal person) and trolls and stuff

I'd gladly buy the Collector's Edition of Fable 2 if it included an artbook, soundtrack and possibly the arcade game that's being released before the actualy game. That'd be awesome. It should be for the people who don't have a credit card or whatever and want the arcade game. A 'making of Fable 2' with gamerpics and themes would be nice. That is of course, if Lionhead want to make some money! 'cos I know for sure that me and all my mates would want this collectors edition if it'll have all that in it.

DustPod, my understanding is that the pre-release arcade game is just a selection of the mini games that are in the retail version of the game, so that you can earn some money in them.  Please, somebody correct me if I'm mistaken.

I believe that this arcade game unlocks one of many different ways to gamble within the Fable 2 world. Maybe you have to download the arcade game to play it within Albion. There will probably be half a dozen arcade titles/pub games that you can purchase. Well, that's my theory.

I can see why this will be popular; it's a major alternative, and not to mention fun way of earning money other than doing quests or owning a business.

I am actually expecting a Collectors Edition, consider the petition signed but I don't think it will matter, RPGs need, nay, require a Collectors Edition these days . Got the Bioshock CE btw, I hope Fable II does something similar, especially with the figurine and metal case that is actually the right size for the shelf.

The Halo3, Mass Effect, Bioshock and GTA4 CEs have all been worth it IMO (just the ones I own). Fable II can't exactly get a place of honour on my shelf without a CE.

I never thought about this before - thanks for bringing it up.
Most games released on Xbox Live Arcade are demos and you have to *pay* to get the full version.
When PM mentioned that these games will be available on Xbox Live a few weeks before the release of Fable 2, I thought that they were simple gambling games and would work seemlessly with Fable 2.
Can anyone say with any certainty that these games will be free, or whether you'll have to spend 200 credits (or some other amount of credits) to have full access to the pub game and allow you to import your winnings into Fable 2?

If they make a collectors edition I probably wont buy it unless it come out the same time as the first game. Any extra content ill download off Live. Im a huge fan of Fable but I dont feel that if I buy the CE that it will add inches to my ego.... if it really did I woulden't be able to wear pants comfortably anymore...

We had great experiences with how 2K Games accepted the Bioshock petition and it was nice that the community and the publisher discussed the content details of a collector's edition afterwards.

So far, Microsoft hasn't confirmed or denied a collector's edition of Fable 2, but it needs some time for planning anyway. Maybe Microsoft will as well follow a wish of the fans if we show the proper demand for a collector's edition. As with Bioshock, details could be discussed later on.

Like the last petition, this one is again hosted at PetitionOnline.com. You sign with your e-mail address and I can't tell what happen's with it, since I am the author and not the host.

Guys, just because retailers take pre-orders, that doesn't mean it is confirmed.  They put it up so that, if and when it is confirmed, people have already pre-ordered it, but if there isn't one, all of the pre-orders are either cancelled or switched to the regular edition.

However, one thing I must say is strange is the some sites already have box art.  In the past, I have rarely seen them just make up box art.
