If I had to guess I would say 7000-8000 posts for legendary. What's to expect when he reaches the big 10-0-0-0 we'll never know.... Not until he reaches it though.

He did get to 10000. the only thing that happened he mysteriously disappeared from highest post count and moderators. No one get to 10,000 posts it destroys you.
