ok so my game freezes at the snowball loading part and as i walk into the fairfax tomb. help. black screen sux

I've ran into a few glitches so far:

First husband divorced me and now I can't sell, rent, or move in another family. (No the house isn't special)

Second husband is no where to be found after returning from the place right before Spire to say bye to my family.

I've had a few glitches with my sword attack getting stuck and my character won't move for awhile after the action that doesn't even happen.

The start up screen gets black patches on it. (very minor but still a glitch)

And my fiance has some glitch where it always says "Inferno" on his screen at the top, no matter what he does, it's always there and has been there since he got "Inferno".

Those are all the glitches I've experienced so far.  I'm sure I'll run into more if I decide to keep playing if I can fix my husband glitch.  I'll post more if I do though.

I CAN"T PUT MY WEAPON AWAY ONCE I"VE DRAWN IT!!!

 It's sooo annoying! I keep getting into fights with the guards because of it and i have no choice but to be because i can't awoid this problem.

I got these same things but with the homestead it is that when i go away for a quest the relationship status goes to quick to unhappy and then they diforce me when i return. I got the thing that it is that i'm 100%  and 100% corrupt that i see a halo and flies. The onley thing i not have is with the disc clean. Maybe it's your xbox.

Ok, I've never posted on anything like this before, but this is just getting ridiculous.  I am now on my third unsuccessful try through this game.  During these attempts, I've experienced the unresponsive child glitch, the "I have a halo that doesn't go away no matter what I do" glitch, and the budget re-setting to zero so you get divorced all the time glitch.  And yeah, they're annoying, but whatever.  What really is driving me crazy is the looping load screens where the game just STOPS.  On my first game, it happened at the end of the Hero of Will quest.  After I left the spire it just would not load Oakfield.  Fair enough, I started again.  The second time I actually made it through the main quest, but again, Oakfield would not load after leaving the Spire.  This was a few months ago, and I just got  fed up and stopped trying.  Then, when I heard about the patch, and the downloadable content, I decided "Why not?  I'll try this game again, maybe they fixed it."  So now I'm in between the Hero of Will and the Hero of Skill quests, just mucking about, and the game pretty much just freezes up no matter where I go or what I do.  Is this normal?  I mean, is this acceptable behavior for a $60 game?   It's such a shame, the game could be so enjoyable, but it's just completely unplayable.  Thanks alot Lionhead.  You blew it.

I have a major glitch that makes the game unplayable...:This is how it occured. My Noble was around Gile's farm and there was a guy from the assasination society offering me employment. This was classyfied a 'scene' andmy character was moving slow as. but i saw a cellar and I went into it, while the scene was still happening. when i got in, i was still moving slow. when i got out i was still movig slow. I havent been able to getrid of the slowness. this is unbearable. My other account is still fast. this is XBox 360 version.

I have tried: Restarting XBox 360 

                   Vaulting, Diving, Openning Chests, Dig Spots,

                  Changing accounts then changing back.

I am copletely out of ideas, and i need some from you. my gamertag is cbf man. Thankyou                                                                  

I'm having alot of frame rate issues too. Slowdown is getting worse and worse the farther into the game I progress.Started in Bowerstone and is now everywhere. It is really becoming almost unbearable. Please LH!!! Give us a patch!!

haha, ive had that problem for a while now...thought it was quite funny. also my first charactor got 'stuck' when trying to get my new stuff from fable pub games.... went to pick up the stuff i won, and the same card just keeps poping up. i did it over 100 times and it still gives me some hair style. also how do you get your stats into the leader board. ive played this game so much, and my stats dont ever get updated.

YES THEY DESERVE TO DIE! AND I HOPE THEY BURN IN HELL

I recently got a similar bounty hunter glitch. I was sent to Bowerstone Market to kill 4 bandits, but they weren't  there and i had a "4 Bandits Remaining" text screen stuck where ever i went with no sight of those bandits.

What I did was, I went to the general store, sold my execution warrant and all of a sudden the trail reappeared and lead me to the top floor in the furniture store where the 4 bandits remained. I killed them, went back to the guard, got my money and completed the quest with no more complications..

So if anyone gets this glitch try selling your warrant, worked for me.

I played spinnerbox and then got a hairstyle card but no matter how many times I push A or start to take it, it won't go away and I can't do anything else in the game. I went to the dashboard and restarted the game and now the background it all white behind the card. I'm SOOO mad! I almost snapped my game in half, and this is after not playing it for MONTHS because of another glitch were all of my stats were reset but I had my weapons and I died in one hit. I bought a TON of EX potions and now everything's back to normal expect for my renown. Which doesn't really matter since I can't play it. I cleared my system cache but its still glitched.

Ugh.... Ok so I was doing the Wraithmarsh Demon Door (where you need 10 people as an audience) and all the people that were following me cornered me somehow against a pillar and even when they moved out of the way or walked away I could not move AT ALL!! I can't attack or use magic anything, I can't even use the expressions to make them go away!!! It's so frustrating!! Even when I go to the region selection screen and click on a region to teleport it says 'You cannot leave until the scene has ended.' If anyone has any ideas that could help me, I'll be glad to listen. My Gamertag is Wicked And Dead

When I go to Bloodstone or Bowerstone Market the game acts like I am in the middle of a scene, I cannot travel to another location from the Regions area. I also cannot move at more than a crawl.

I have finished the majority of the quests in the game and am working on Knothole Island and See the Future, but they require moving around in Bowerstone Market, but I cannot access the cursed items unless I leave Bowerstone Market.

Also, I seem to be able to clear the lag in Bloodstone by paying the Bard to sing a song, but I cannot find any way to clear the lag in Bowerstone Market. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm almost done with the Love Hurts quest.  Basically I have Lady Grey's head in my inventory and the next objective is to give it to the keeper so he can bring her back to life, but when I go to the mansion, he's nowhere to be found.  Instead, he's hanging out by the locked gate with the reanimated Lady Grey!  Somehow, he put her back together on his own and left me with a quest that can't be completed!  Which, in turn, prevents me from buying the mansion, unlocking the new gate to gain access to the tomb which apparently contains a gargoyle, and that's the last one I need to complete the gargoyle quest!!!!!

I made it all the way through the to spire and the boss fight with the commandant and out of nowere garth (who was with me during the fight) is stuck outside the door so it won't let me through the cullis gate and i can't open the door to let him back in and the game autosaved right after the fight so when i load up the game i'm sitting there in an empty room like a retard!!!!!!!!

Ok, I've noticed one new really odd glitch.
1. if you are a male and have a wife and kid somewhere in the game, after you enter the fairfax tomb and if you change your sex by taking the potion; Your previously known "wife" will now be called Husband and your child will start to call HER dad! she is still the same old person (a woman) but your child calls her dad and in all texts she is refered to as a husband. she still reacts like a woman though, you can't flirt her and get a positive reaction and you can't have sex.

I feel for you, I was lucky enough to have married a bisexual whore so after the sex change the kids have two mums. And sex is still on the cards (although protected sex as a choice is a little useless).

On another note this game is glitchtastic, what a shame!

Upon completing the story I continued to play only to start encountering devastating glitches, as have been mentioned. Such as trying to make Fairfax Castle a marital home only for my XBox to crash (can crashing hurt my baby?). Also my stupid child wouldn't follow me out of the Rescue mission and so they died (no longer on my family list). Funnily enough my daughter has vanished from sight, can't find her anywhere, lost her after said mission with Gile's Farm as the home. Perhaps she's avoiding my wrath at losing the first.

Lastly a new one for the list, after all this I just wanted to relax in the knowledge of being called Queen (after my recent sex change). But low and behold the boffins at LionHead can't get that right either. After receiving a message from the game that I own enough land etc, the town cryer doesn't have it on his list, what a tit.

i guess my fable 2 is perfectly normal the only glitches tht ever pop up are ones i do on purpose except for the fact usually when i press a button 2 times my controller turns of its really annoying for when im trying to shoot coz i have 2 press y 2 times and it dosent happen on any other games

i've had knothole island dlc for a few weeks now and then all of a sudden when i try to go to lion's head isle it just freezes and won't load then another glitch i had before knothole island was when i finished the rescue i was outside w my kid and the kids stuck in the wall my wife says ty for savin the kid then she walks off the kid doesn't move and i can no longer teleport bc ur kid will die if u dont stay eventually it came up sayin ur kids dead quest completed ps killin my wife didnt solve it then the glitch was fine except there is now a random kid stuck in the wall every time i go there

lionhead need to get there act together and should really start fixing these issues that is occurring. the problem that i'm experiencing is from brightwood after you beaten the game and continue on with garth's quest and sort. also another one was fairfax. there were a couple others that because very slow to loading and i made sure it wasn't a dirty disc or a scratch on it. i went over to a friend and tested it with his disc and system and it did the same thing. so with that being said i'm pretty sure it wasn't the gaming system issue its "LIONHEAD!" GET YOUR FREAK'N ACT TOGETHER AND FIX THE ISSUE ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!

At east you guys can play the game. At first I finished going td the game and had Knothole Island then I load the game fine but I can't leave the region I'm in so I restart a few times and it still doesn't work. So I try making a new one doesn't even let me leave the loading screen to even start. Then it tells me the file is corrupted. So I delete it and try again same problem. The I delete it plus my cache files and still it doesn't work. Then I try deleting my main hero still a no go. Now I have n heroes and nothing to play and FYI my disc is almost as if i didnt take it out of the packaging. I can't start a new game and I'm really annoyed. They need a new patch because this has gotten out of hand and it should've been fixed a long time ago.

If you are having a hard time at the beginning of the game not loaded on to the hard drive it will freeze. When you have it on the hard drive it should not freeze. Now My husband is no where to be found when I need to. I have heard a lot of people found the husbands n wife's in bloodstone. I can't do T.O.B.Y.'s quest either.....   

Here are a few glitches I found:

I have a Wife in Bowerstone Market. This house has a cellar door beside the front door and she was standing on top of that door and would not move. I could not target her with the A button to accept a gift. I had to leave town for a while and eventually she was somewhere else.

I own almost every house in Bowerstone Markets and spend allot of time in redecorate mode updating furnishings. Problem is, when I do this while renting out, the people who are renting tell me to leave as soon as I go in. In one case the guards fined me for tresspassing on my own house. Sometimes if I like who are renting I don't want to have to evict them to update the furniture. It doesn't seem right that I can tresspass on my own property. In one case, I actually evicted them after they called the guards on me and the guards still fined me for tresspassing even though no one was renting when I arrived.

Also, while not specifically a glitch, an annoyance is that because I am so popular my house is always full of people when I am there. It makes it impossible sometimes to give my wife or child gifts because they are all over the place. When they stand between us I have to reposition and sometimes I can't. I wish I could just close the front door. Or else maybe have a target expression to only affect ONE person saying "Bug off. I'm not interested" which would cause that NPC to leave me alone. In one case I accidentally gave an expensive dress to another woman who stood between me and my wife. While I know it has a confirm button it's still annoying. It shouldn't be too hard to put a "close door" button on a house I own.

Having too many people in my house while I am in it turns about to cause a glitch in and of itself. They were standing in the stairs, and I could not move past them. I had to wait like 15 minutes for them to finally decide to move since I didn't want to kill them.
