I accidentally gave away the first dog treasure hunting book I bought from the shop to the bloody bard. Will it be restocked in the shop or do I need to restart?

    Re: Fable II Achievement Guide

The shops will restock that book. They did for me even when my dog was maxed out on it.

    Note Added

For the Completionist Achievement, if you are going for it after beating the game, PLEASE choose the Family Ending. Why because without your dog you are automatically losing all of his expressions even though you unlocked all of them before he died.

I learned this the hard way so I was forced to redo the Pub Games and make a new character and beat the game again for the 3rd time. The hardest part of it all was getting the Books in the pub games again. The rest is just time consuming but easy. Though I kinda warn you after you get all of the achievements the game gets really boring...I hope the Expansion comes out soon so I can beat it and get the 3 new achievements.

The Box of Secrets shop is located at the far end of the lake of Knothole Island. There will be a shop with podiums with boxes on. In order to get this achievement, you'll need unlock all of the mysterious boxes. In counting, there are __ boxes; 3 available pre-main quest 1 and 5 after big freeze,

    Need: Pretty Neckless
Where to Get: Bowerstone Market Jeweller (by tavern)
Unlocks : Black Wheel Gang Coat

    Need: 2 x Puny Carrot
Where to Get: Bowerstone Market Produce Trader and/or Bowerstone Old Town Produce Trader. Get one, then go sleep for 2 days at the tavern and go back to make another appear. Or get one from each.
    Unlocks : Assassin Outfit

Where to Get: Fairfax Garden's travelling Clothes Trader
    Unlocks: Brodigan Mace

    Unlocks: Axe of Disharmony

    The Meteorologist

Bring all of Knothole Island’s weather problems under control, or help another Hero to do so.

Simply complete the main Knothole Island quests i.e. Big Freeze, Huge Heat and the Island's Drowning and return to the town center.

    The Bibliophile

Find all the books detailing the history of Knothole Island, or help another Hero to do so.

There are 10 books to collect in all, here are the locations (note: the books are not in order):

Knothole Island, Volume I - Off Gordon when you first enter Knothole Island.
Knothole Island, Volume II - Only tricky one really; In the ice shrine, in the right room of the main circular chamber with the four triggers in front of the lighting bolts, just to the right of that, you can vault down, pull a lever which drops a ladder which you follow to the book.
Knothole Island, Volume III - In the shrine on the second mission, after you've pulled the first lever and entered the door with the pressure pad. Next to that should be a breakable wall.
Knothole Island, Volume IV - As soon as you enter the Storm temple - on the right.
Knothole Island, Volume V - Off the right of the dirt track on the way to where you dug up the Sun Key.
Knothole Island, Volume VI -By the stairs next to the tavern after you've done "Big Freeze."
Knothole Island, Volume VII - As you exit the shrine at the bottom of the hill after you've used the fire totem.
Knothole Island, Volume VIII - Behind the one of the gravestones as you enter Knothole Island (on the left before the wooden boardwalk)
Knothole Island, Volume IX - As you exit the second shrine (in the rain), it is behind a rock on the third bend (your dog should bark.)
Knothole Island, Volume X - After you leave the third shrine (snowing now), the book is on the right behind the rock.

    Re: Fable II Achievement Guide

ue i dont have the feign attack expression as i am too young to view the page and so on and i have the achievement
    meralonne:

    Great work here.

I have one comment with regards to The Completionist--

I was able to unlock this achievement without having the "Feign Attack" expression and without witnessing another player do this on XBL. I'm going to raise my proverbial "flame shield" in advance of the expected insults and accusations of lying, because I quite frankly have no way of proving that this happened. All I can say is that I had every expression except Feign Attack when I maxed out my character's stats, and the achievement unlocked for me.

I  will add the caveat that the book (The Counterfeit Warrior) was in my inventory when the achievement unlocked, but I had not used it yet. Perhaps someone else would care to test this?

    Re: Fable II Achievement Guide

Hello, I'm new here, but I need some help.

I'm working towards the completionist achievement, but I can't find the fable webgame anymore! Is it taken offline for some reason? Will it be back online?

I've read through the thread, and read the posts about unlocking the achievement without the "feign attack" expression. So I will try this. However I do want this expression very badly, as the other unique items:'). So does anyone know something more?

I seem to have bad luck with Fable II, I love the game, but I ran into some bugs (couldn't finish the game earlier on) which now luckily have been fixedSmily [:)]. Although I have pre-ordered my LE, I've never gotten the 'code' for the arcade Pub games. I do find it lame that now I have to pay another 800 MS points (after the loveable, but short Knothole Island DLC) in order to get all the achievements. I'm willing to do it though, as I want to earn the achievements by myself and am not that eager to look everything up in guides.

(Consequences were there though, I've spent an awful lot of time to find the books with these expressions, only to find on the internet that those books have to be unlocked by playing the arcade Pub games).

So could anyone help me out about the web game? Or give some information if it will be back online?

Sorry for my grammar mistakes, I'm not living in an English speaking country, my native language is DutchLick [:lick:]. I'm from Holland.

    Thanks!

    Re: Fable II Achievement Guide

Many thanks! I've succeeded in finding it myself already after searching even more. The problem was that it wasn't on my Dutch version of the official Fable 2 site. So I was confused as it was technically the same site, only without the amusable web game. Have founded everything now though:').

Almost finished with the completionist, only the pub games expressions.

When i was collecting all of the silver keys i got 7/6 keys in wraithmarsh and did not have to get all of the keys in another location, the game counted the 7th one as a key and i only actually had to get 49, but it said i had all 50 keys, not that thats a problem

There's 51 keys in total. They added an extra one if you picked to loose your dog and such.

It's all about how much your town is worth. The Puny Carrots are low, low level star items. If you still need help just send me a message and I'll help you.

    Re: Fable II Achievement Guide

I was only able to get Puny Carrots from the Produce trader in Bloodstone, that was the only one that was low level enough to get them, maybe that'll help.

If you have bought a lot of property in a town, then its unlikely they'll be selling such low level items.

Agree, if the towns economy is high then you will not get puny carrots for sale.  Bloodstone it the only place I have found them easily, if the produce seller has not got any just sleep for 2 or 3 days and go back.  Up []

I would never post this without giving the person who made this very well made achievement guide some credit. Now that said: All the credit goes to "
    Webb
    " from WWW.XBOX360ACHIEVEMENTS.ORG
    --------------------

Never like BRANDYGAMES guides. Cheap aholes. And that site is 100 times better since they get every game.
