    Re: ideas for fable 3

    JesterofShadows:
I have some ideas, and I think they could work.

    Character
    * Name: Thank you Fable 2, because giving us the name Sparrow let the canon refer to the new Hero as a Sparrow for all time. This in my opinion was very wise. However, take a note from BioWare's Mass Effect, give the Hero a last name that in unisex, can be referenced in canon while allowing the player to have the majority of the control over the name.
    * Gender: Huzzah for gender equality! However, in all fairness, this is computer game and we all know how women should behave and look in it, like complete goddesses. That sounds harsh, but how about when making a character, when I level up a female character, let's make it so her strength doesn't turn her into She-Hulk.
    * Face: Why not offer a couple of facial shapes to choose from right from the begining. Also skin-colour, eye colour and so on and so forth, because then, when a unique face changes according to actions in game you have a truly unique look.
    * Family: Ok, this was cool with the kids thing and all. However, along with making the children of the hero LOOK like the hero (using above features would be cool) lets give the game a feature, say clicking on the Hero's Wardrobe in the house, give the hero the option of changing the clothing not only of his own clothing, but the clothing of his family. Also, really, there's not much to do with your family in Fable 2, is there? I mean, shag and make babies and keep them happy, right? Ok, lets make the wife/husband part of the plot, give the family more quests, make them invulnerable (but relatively weak) NPC henchmen.
    * Clothing: God damn it, make my clothes change with me, will you!
    * (Edit) Will-Lines: Come on, let's have some fun with this, if you're G o o d [Good], make them light blue/white, if you're E v i l [Evil] then make them red.

    Housing
One of my favorite features from Fable and Fable 2 was owning everything, because, let's face it, who doesn't want to own the world? However, Lionhead hit the mark with the Black and White games, making the buildings morph. Let's make it so that when you buy a building it reflects the owner, if buy a castle and you're G o o d [Good], something from a fairytale, if you're E v i l [Evil], something from a nightmare. This is purely graphical (although some G o o d [Good] quests could be thrown in) but would make the game much more immersive and give the feeling that the character is having a drastic change in the world. Also, if you buy a shop, make the shop reflect you! If I'm E v i l [Evil] and buy a clothes store, I want my clothes from there to LOOK E v i l [Evil]. If I'm G o o d [Good], I should be buying fancy clothes. Also, rented houses should have people who reflect my alignment!

    Empire
Ok, we've hit a new issue, fun. In Fable we knew all the cities were basically independent. In the sequel we saw Bowerstone forming as a capital and the rest kind of being reliant on it. Let's give Albion what it deserves for the next game: an empire. Lets make more cities. All ruled by either one or two (even three) different empires (hell, you've got yourself a plot right there, who does the hero align with and eventually rule). Also, we need a new Guild. I think it's obvious now to the people of Albion that a standing army is going to be needed or hire a guild (or maybe three, one each attribute, another plot, right there, which could work with the three empire thing). Not the Old/New Kingdom, I'm talking something different.

    Aging
First of all, put your hands up if you hate having an ageing hero?
Thought so. Can we turn this feature off? Or give us a final quest to do that. Or something. However, it would be interesting to spend the first half of the game using one Hero, only to have him die AFTER having at least one child who you spend the rest of the game as (using same stats).

    NPCs
First of all, WHAT THE HELL IS THERESA DOING BACK!? I killed her! I slit her pretty throat! I don't care if I had the option not to, because now I have to assume I was a G o o d [Good] boy and didn't. What's the point in that? Any character that can be killed in a game should never be brought back for a sequel, that is why you make UNKILLABLE NPCs. Unless you are LucasArts and give both endings while giving an explicit canon stating that the Light Side always wins, you have no right to bring back a presumably dead character without explanation. If she wasn't quite dead in the Vortex or whatever and somehow achieved divinity, fair point, I'll cop that, just tell me so IN-GAME.
    Moving on.
Some NPCs Fable 3 could use:
    * Theresa: Ok, I'm being hypocritical, I know. But in the next game, let's flesh her out a lot, like explaining how the hell she survived my sword turning her into a PEZ dispenser. She's now got potential, lets use it.
    * The Hero: From the first game, let's make more references to him.
    * Scythe: Bring back the old codger. Yes, he's important, we get that. Now bring him back, either against Theresa or with her.
    * The Spire: Not an NPC, but now definitely needed. Make it a city.
    * Jack of Blades: Hmmm, when I think about this, probably not. He's dead, mask in lava. He be Jack of Ash now. However, weren't there three of these demonic beings?
    * Thunder/Whisper/Briar Rose/Guildmaster: Ok, if we use the "Light Side is canon" thing, we can bring these back. Let's actually go where they came from, explore the world of Albion.
    * The Sword of Aeons: BRING IT BACK!
    * Rose: Ok, at the end of Fable 2 Rose is either a spirit or whatever, how about we make use of that.
    * The Animal: We had a dog, that was cool, and was useful in removing a now redundant mini-map. Shall we go one step further? Let's not only make them reflect our alignment (white labradour for G o o d [Good] dog, black wolf for E v i l [Evil]) but say, lets give them more than one animal to choose from (cats, birds, rabbits, giant spiders, badgers, the list goes on and truly makes for a more interesting character, and this can be done easily, make a freaking Pet Shop where you exchange pets).

    Jobs/Quests
How the *** did we end up with this god-damn weak excuse for way to earn money in the sequel? What genius thought up that? I think the only jobs in Fable 3 should be quests. Just make more of them. I mean, how come I can do more quests in the first game than the second? Come on, that's just being lazy!
To quote Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw, "it's f****ng boring!"
Let's scrap the earning money crap, we're supposed to be a freaking hero! Our jobs should be guarding caravans, hunting criminals, raiding caravans, robbing the rich, enslaving and so forth!
And give us more quests! LOTS more quests. That's why the Guild in Fable was so useful, because while other quests were around, you could at least find more at the Guild.

    Endings
Fable did it right. Could have used a few more quests afterwards, but the main quest had two possible real outcomes: G o o d [Good]/E v i l [Evil] (TLC did the same thing). Fable 2 epically failed in this. Here are your possible endings:
    * Raise the Dead: Everyone likes you, but hey, if you've been playing G o o d [Good], they already do, and if you're E v i l [Evil], who gives a crap if they love you? In essence, this ending was only useful for the Xbox Achievement.
    * Raise the Family: Raise from the dead a wife and children (if you had either) who you never had much affection for no matter what alignment you were because there wasn't much point to having them, nor could you do anything but piss them off, kill them, please them or shag them. Also "raise" Rose, but for such an important character to be raised, why the hell do you never see her again after, I mean what's the point? However, raising the Dog, well that is needed, because the dog is you damn map, dig spot locator and so forth. The fact you lose a NEEDED FEATURE TO COMPLETE THE f****ng GAME FULLY means you have to choose this choice if you've got any brain at all.
    * Get Some Money: Considering how far in the game you've gotten, why bother with this choice? I mean, *** it, you already own half of Albion and back, you could just sleep for 5 days and get the $1000000, even if you're G o o d [Good] and have set the rent to dirt cheap. There is no reason at all to choose this.

Basically, give us endings that mean something, and make the other endings JUST as fun (basically, don't kill the god next time and make Rose reappear).

I fully apologise for the amount of swearing in this rant, but I use them to stress my points.

the games "real" ending was the love ending. the only reason why they added the save the people or get money was because this game was a game of "choices"Crazy [].

    Re: ideas for fable 3

Just something small about the dog: That thing took you all around the world already, so to me there wasn't any point left in it's existence other than to find treasure and look cute for me. If you leave it dead, you can get it back if you download Knothole Island. Then, if you take a trip down Memory Lane(Demon Door) You won't get it back for some reason. Just a point to make, if you care. Sure, explain Theresa. Dang. I didn't know Heroes were immortal. In the first game they weren't, but in the second one they are. Dargmnit, Lionhead make up your mind! Ooh! I got something. How about Heroes actually live for a long, long time? How about the Will that flows in their veins stregnthens their lifespan, for say, longer than 500 years? It would let us bring back Whisper. She left for another land, but she could return, albeit old and wrinkly. Same for Thunder, Briar Rose, and the "Guildmaster"(sidenote, why can't we just use his real bloody name?) Sure, I know, they could have been killed. But, if they were, what if their souls were freed when Jack the Dragon was destroyed, and they were allowed to return to their bodies?
Everything in that general direction must die!

    Re: ideas for fable 3

The only problem with raising dead characters is that in Fable 1, we could kill them. Which sadly kills Whisper off for G o o d [Good].

However, that said, there are some possible ways we could say, hey, lets bring most of them back:

    Theresa:
If she lived in the original game, then huzzah, she's alive because she's some super-Hero (note, Scythe is of the same bloodline, it is thus possible she can live forever and so too did the Hero of Fable). But, if you killed her, then we could possibly argue that her soul, being so strong as it was, somehow bonded with the Vortex and let her be reborn as some sort of GLB (God-Like Being for the uninitiated).

    Briar Rose/ Thunder/ Guildmaster/ Whisper
The Guildmaster was already something akin to an immortal before it was possible to kill the old nutter, so if he lived, he lived. Briar Rose could have possibly survived due to her knowledge of the arcane, Thunder, hell, let's lock the *** up in Demon Door that magically kept him young. Whisper's a hard one, but we could something similar as we did to Thunder.
However, if you killed them all, all but Whisper had their souls trapped forever in Jack's mask, and the destruction of which forced them into some netherworld and they come back as GLBs. Whisper could maybe have survived the battle with the Hero because maybe Jack healed her in an attempt to use her against the Hero but that part of his plan never had a chance.
Of course, we could utterly defeat all of this, and have them come back as ghosts. I mean it, long quests given by these ghosts who can't exactly remember how they died. Hell, one of the new quests could be about them gaining new bodies.

    The Greys
Lady Grey and her sister, come on, bring them back. More than some Frankstein-esque quest, really bring them back.

    Oakvale
At the end of Fable 2 we learn the fate of Oakvale. Lets see if the Hero can change the fate, maybe go and rebuild it.

    Re: ideas for fable 3

THE HERO CASTLE: A NEW IDEA

One of my favorite things from Morrowind, Oblivion, Fable 2 and Neverwinter Nights 2 was the concept of owning your own house. In many of them, it was more than that, you owned an estate, built shops, homes, essentially a city (does anyone here besides me adore Raven Rock in Morrowind: Bloodmoon?). And in Fable 2 we've slowly begun a process of doing so.

In Fable 2 you could even get the title of Emperor/King whatever.

Let's have some fun with this concept.

I've already gone on about how Fable 3 could use an Empire Quest with new Guilds and such. Well, lets go one step further.

    Idea 1: Establishing An Empire
Part of the main quest of Fable 3 could possibly be about building a capital city for your Empire, and the main quest being about conquering it from a rival hero or protecting it from a demonic influence etc. Besides the usual wanting the city to reflect my alignment, you could have some real fun with the idea. Perhaps one quest may make you open up a new Heros Guild, but not only do you have to choose what alignment, but also are they more Strength, Will or Skill inclined (possibly by having quests bringing teachers to the school, two for every alignment, you only get to choose one, and then on top of that, the new Guildmaster/Guildmistress could be a primary love interest, with you choosing them as well, akin to Overlord's Tower Mistress feature). Other features could include choosing which colours your flag are (a Dye option) or possibly choosing the neutral armour of your soldiers/guards (in your own city they would arrest you for a discounted fine, also, whatever they wear would reflect the alignment). Personally, a locale which I would like to see this happen to is NOT Bowerstone, I'd like that to be my rival, but rather either a completely new place (a new Gypsy Camp) or perhaps the Tattered Spire (with the Hero being Theresa's own child and Mayor of the city). Perhaps there could be a quest which allows which Temple to join the city.

    Idea 2: Joining an Empire
In a previous post, I suggested having different Empires and such. Well, using all the features I have just suggested, how about the Hero is the descendent of Sparrow, and in their infinite wisdom, they were overthrown and are banished to some other rising Empire. Over time they gain the trust of the city and are sent to build a new city, and thus begins Establishing an Empire except now you're building it for someone else, who you end up inheriting from (if you're G o o d [Good] you can marry their daughter, if E v i l [Evil] you can kill them anyway) and reconquering your lost lands.

    Idea 3: Oakvale Reborn
I was deeply saddened by the loss of Oakvale. This place of wonder now becoming a place of sadness and death. So, lets change things. Sparrow's descendents eventually moved to Bloodstone or whatever the Twinblade's Camp became. Two generations before the New Hero was born, some settlers (including the family of the New Hero) relocated to Oakvale and slowly, but surely, rebuilt it and kicked out every undead in the area (a side quest could involve removing them for G o o d [Good]). However, when the New Hero is a child (at the end of the Tutorial) an army of soldiers come looking for the Blood (the Hero's bloodline). These aren't bandits, they're Spire Soldiers, working for Theresa who once again needs the Blood to use the Spire. The child, along with some other villagers, flee, and are rescued by either Scythe or a very, very, very, very, very, very old man who is fishing and carrying a very large sword (yes, I am making this old man, referred to as only the Old Man, or Wanderer, and maybe cheekily as Chicken Chaser, is the Hero from the first game). Overtime, the New Hero is taken underwing, with Old Man/Scythe teaching him new things while they rebuild Oakvale into a massive city (with all the features of Establishing and Empire). Eventually it is revealed that Theresa is the enemy and that her wish may just be to remove the Will from the world forever, or possibly the usual, wipe it all out and start again. She has conquered most of the world already, with Bloodstone and Oakvale being the only places free. The main quest involves stopping her.

A NOTE ON ALL THESE EMPIRE DREAMS
In all of these things, there are some MUST HAVES:
    * Opposing Empires should oppose your alignment, and their capital city should reflect this!
    * You must be allowed to change your guard's armour (or at least have it reflect your alignment).
    * You must be allowed to have some say over choices in your city. For example, what type of Guilds (Will, Strength, Skill, Alignment) as well as the Temple you build (Shadow/Light).

    Re: ideas for fable 3

So, if you want to oppress the people of your kingdom, you get to push them around with what kind of guilds you want them to establish, and what kind of temple? In essence, to be E v i l [Evil], you get to decide what they believe in?

    Re: ideas for fable 3

Oh, I also sent the webmaster an email about some other features to be added into the game. While you could bring back fishing, you could bring in some new stuff. How about hunting and gathering? They could add in a bunch of creatures to hunt, and some things to gather. The gathering part becomes a bit like the Elder Scrolls games, but without so many "effects". As your hero learns more, he can make some G o o d [Good] veggie food, add stuff together with the fish he catches and whatnot. he could fish and gather and then go to the market and put stuff together on the spot with an in-game menu. Then, he would be able to sell what he has. Your Hero is on the run. He met some nasty bandits and has to make a dash for it. he sees a rabbit down the path, and, pulling out a crossbow, shoots it, and grabs it on the go. Not only will he be able to use the meat later, but he can make food dishes for himself or the market. And while all this is introduced, it brings another thing that can prove an interesting part of the game, making the game more like reality: Hunger. Hunger is an everyday thing for us, and it would make the game more interesting if the food actually had a purpose other than something you could eat instead of drink a potion. The effects may be nice, but do you really need the food otherwise? The game would be more interesting if your Hero would get hungry at some instances, which would affect his immediate performance. He could stuff a meal-ready-to-eat into his mouth and continue. But what if he doesn't have the food he wants to eat? What if he has no stick of celery, and instead a stick of jerky? While we would not enjoy the corruption points gained from eating jerky, it does give the Hero what he needs to survive: energy in the form of food. If he does not eat, he will have intervals of hunger and a groaning stomach, each greater than the last. if he cannot find food within this unspecified span of time, his stomach eats some of himself(its true, if you don't eat anything while you're hungry, your stomach uses your body). He loses a bit of stregnth, maybe some nutritional value that comes specifically from eating carrots. Wait too long(you'll know), and he'll die of hunger. Not only should we think of hunger, but also of thirst. It's just so boring to me that there's food all around, but nobody gets hungry in a game. The food is simply there in a vain attempt to make the world seem more like a reality. Take it all away, and any affects could simply be attached to new potions. It would also make the game seem longer if the Hero had to feed himself all the time, and drink whatever. Not only that, he could also become a producer on the market.
Everything in that general direction must die!

    Re: ideas for fable 3

a lot of these ideads are very G o o d [Good] but instead of bringing characters back to life Theresa's use of the spire is that her will powers have been boosted to extremely high levels (like Scythe and Fable 1 Hero) and she can see ghosts of people that did great things in life, this could somehow connect to your character in a quest where you see the ghost of the fable 1 hero walk past you whilst you stand in the chamber of fate/oakvale(Wraithmarsh) or maybe the ghost of the Guildmaster or the ghost of...someone else who was important in Fable 1.

    Re: ideas for fable 3

A lot of people have made some suggestions that don't really fit in with the historical context of the games. Girls would not typically wear the "skimpy, cute" clothes that people are suggesting they should in the setting for the fable games - unless they are whores. And even then, it's only certain attires they would don. All of the NPCs are still bound by the convetions of their socities and this makes for more intelligent A.I. Perhaps these skantily clad G o o d [Good] time gals could appear in the game, but they would have to be removed from the other societies for it to make any sense. Otherwise Lionhead would simply be pandering to the tragic fantisies of the basment dwellers - and I imagine they have a little more class than that.
As for the dialogue, I find that the insults and taunts the bandits use are excellent. I wouldn't like to see the use of Americanisms in future titles. A massive part of the charm that the Fable titles possess is that they parody Britain so well. (They are more or less set in an alternate fantasy Britain; hence the realm is called Albion.) I see the characters from Fable whenever I walk down the street. The caricatures in the game are excellent. Where A.I. can always be evolved for a sequel, I'd say that they did a bloody G o o d [Good] job in Fable 2. Definitely set a benchmark for other developers. I'd say that only Bethesda can equal Lionhead for A.I. in RPGs at this time.
But context is vital. Ideas have to fit with the context of the game and I think that is something that a few people are missing.

    Re: ideas for fable 3

I want to know what happened to The Hero of Oakvale. Also maybe we could play the child that we saw in the future? I know this seems like an odd request but could the children age in the next game. I want to see what having teens or pre-teens would be like plus that would add some other types of quest. Plus what happened to Rose? More Tattoo opitions.

    Re: ideas for fable 3

now with xbox live updates anything can be added in including weapons, games, maps, quests. thats small fish stuff. the big ideas need to be the online experience. thats what hooks users. the more online interaction the longer players like the game and the more that would want to buy it. forget little floating orbs like in fable 2. players want to interact more with eachother not just the world. the coop was a G o o d [Good] idea but not great because of limited camera options. the next step is for players to be able to interact with eachother in fights or team up together. i should be able to walk into a town and see other players and what they are doing

we need to combine the ideas from world of warcraft and fable 2.

maybe after combing the two fable 3 will be te most advanved RPG on the market for 369

    Re: ideas for fable 3

I really like some of the suggestions posted but also agree with Oberael in that some changes would strip away the context that we "Fablers" know and love. Though I consider Fable (both) one of my favorite games, I would love to see a few additions/alterations in the next one. For instance, one of my male characters married an awesome stall vendor and a barmaid and put each of them in a castle. It was really weird to visit my "queen" in Fairfax and have a shopkeeper stroll out of the castle with my little street urchin-dressed children in tow. It would have been awesome if he could have bought them all clothing to wear that reflects their new status.

Another change I would like to see pertains to homes and home improvements. Other than the tragic dilapidation of the town, I loved the changed inside building structures in Old Bowerstone after making the first E v i l [Evil] choice. I would love to see some variation in the inner structures of homes for both the G o o d [Good] and E v i l [Evil] worlds. Also, I owned several "expensive" homes in Bowerstone that had dirty looking, ripped wallpaper juxtaposed against luxury furniture. Very tacky. It would be nice to have the option to redecorate the infastructure (walls, floors such as rugs, and accessories like artwork, bedding, and the use of color schemes). Granted, I agree that all this should reflect choices appropriate for the time and location of the story, but I would love to see such choices.

I do agree with many comments that some of the battles/puzzles should be a little more challenging. Not to compare with Zelda because they are so completely different in many ways, but some of the battles in Zelda were a beotch like the Darknut and the final go with Ganondorf--ugh! It would be cool if there were one or two foes in the Fable world that really put up a G o o d [Good] fight and made me work for my victory.

I really like the suggestion about food and hunger. That is a great point! I thought that it would make the game more interesting if my hero had to eat (and even sleep) to maintain strength, skill, will, and health. Neglecting those needs would reflect in the ability to function well in battle and could lead to vulnerability and even death. Cool!

Treasure chests should have more interesting items in them. It is veru frustrating to risk life and limb to get to a chest and discover it holds a rusty necklace, a piece of jet, a mood ring, or some random useless piece of clothing. The chests could even be of different size or adornment to indicate quality/value of item. That way, if in a perilous location like Wraithmarsh and miss a chest because a horde of hollowmen are chasing close behind, I would know just by looking at it if it was worth a return trip.

Finally, it would be nice if there was a little more variation in comments. After a while of hearing my hero's wives tell him that sex was a biological imperative, I got very annoyed. Also, after "waking up from" sex, my hero's children should not tell him how much they've missed him, and ask him where he's been and if he's killed any monsters--this is really bizarre for back-to-back sex when the only place the hero's been is in, well, you know where.

Other than these suggestions, I love this game and can't wait for the next installment!

These are my top 10 ideas for Fable III

1.Jack of Blades should be back. And make him really hard to beat.

2.Make the whole game harder. Its as easy as a childs game and its for adults.

3.There should be another heroes guild and a bunch of apprentices. And a bunch of quest cards too.

4.When your E v i l [Evil] you shouldnt look so damn ugly.no matter how pure you are,you still look ugly

5.The women, man! Most of the women are really fat and ugly.Make them skinnier and better looking.

    6.Fishing should be back.

7.When your G o o d [Good] you should have glowing wings when you stand still as well as a halo.

8.Make a better storyline. There was no way the second storyline could match up to the first.

    9.Fistfight clubs should be back

10.There also should be regular cut scenes

Those are my top 10 ideas for Fable III

    Re: ideas for fable 3

Bringing back Jack would just be weird. That was what TLC was for, so we could kill him again. That time, we finished him off for G o o d [Good]. No, if there's going to be another E v i l [Evil], maybe make it the Shadow Court. If not that, take Fable's story to another land, and that sets us up for all new E v i l [Evil]s. All the E v i l [Evil]s so far are referrenced to Albion only, and not the rest of the world.

Shoot me if I said this already, but how about facing the Balvorn? Huh? Anybody?

How about your wives actually wear what you give them? Huh? I mean, they looked horrible in the second game. How 'bout the ten or so years between Fable 2 and leading up to the next Hero's adulthood, there could be a women's feminist revolution. We could see females integrated into the enemy classes, and the other job classes.

    Bring back the schools!

    Irishmegs88:
I want to know what happened to The Hero of Oakvale. Also maybe we could play the child that we saw in the future? I know this seems like an odd request but could the children age in the next game. I want to see what having teens or pre-teens would be like plus that would add some other types of quest. Plus what happened to Rose? More Tattoo opitions.

It's hinted that the child in DLC will be the protagonist in the next storyline.

Hey, your child could grow up and be a Hero, and could interact with you as part of the story. While you're on your own main story quest, your child(if you have one) ages and becomes a Hero, and goes on their own story quest, and at intervals in the game your Hero catches up with his offspring to see how they're doing.

You could even play as your child, and their morality and purity tendencies are fixed according to how you treat them and so on. As you complete quests, you get to play as your child, and what you do affects how their quests go(the story would have to be fixed, because you control your Hero's actions and not your Hero-child's directly).

Rose died. Or not. either way, she can't come back as ALIVE. Yes, more Tattoo options. Fable TLC had a shmorgisboard of tattoos.

    Re: ideas for fable 3

Some means by which one's actions in the first storyline have a direct impact on the game world in the next game could be quite a nice feature, though potentially troublesome to execute. I think that this would reinforce the idea of a heroic bloodline and give a better reflection on just exactly how much influence the heroes have upon the land and how long-lasting the consequences of their actions can be. Reaver's decision to sell the souls of his entire village had an obvious effect upon the region - why did we see so little of the consequences of the Hero of Oakvale's actions?
Though Theresa's appearance within the game may be alluded to the fact that the Hero of Oakvale was assumed to be G o o d [Good], it is also obvious that there is much more to Theresa than perhaps will ever be revealed. Whether or not the Hero of Oakvale was G o o d [Good] or E v i l [Evil] in the minds of other gamers will vary from person to person - but would it not have been nice to see a little more evidence of this Hero's existance, the deeds he performend, than a brief account of his life in the form of a book?
For example, a G o o d [Good] hero in Fable II may bring the people of Albion to trust heroes again, leading to the refounding of the guild. Whereas an E v i l [Evil] hero would serve to reinforce their disdain for heroes - whether or not the Guild of Heroes is reestablished. The alignment of the Fable II character may also have a direct bearing upon who exactly was in charge of the guild in Fable III should such a development take place. The Temple of Shadows could have branched further into Society, becoming an Albion equivalent of Free Masnory, or the Temple of Light could establish temples throughout the land, bringing fertility back to barren regions like Wraithmarsh.
I could go on forever, but I would really like to see the consequences of my actions carry into other games rather than assumptions be made in order to fit around a story. It's not impossible to work ways around this sort of complexity anyway. The world of Fable II can evolve into many different things according to one's actions - why can't this sort of thing carry into sequels?

    Re: ideas for fable 3

They could make this carry-over option. When you start your new game, it could ask you to choose between, of the past, the E v i l [Evil] Hero or the G o o d [Good] Hero. Depending on whichever you chose, what kind of Albion your new Hero grows up in will differ.

    ideas for fable 3

For Fable 3, You need to add sea-going ships. Have the option for you to be a sailor, either for a side storyline or quest, or just as an option. You can become a sailor for trade, and depending on your actions turn into a pirate! The ship should be moving on the water,  not just press A and then you are somewhere else.

The world should be more seamless, and you should have to load to get out of a city, but when your in the open get rid of all the load screens, fable 2 was a next gen game and there was a load screen for every little "zone".

Yesterday I put in Fable, and I realized I like the cutscenes better than the interactive ones in fable 2. I think it is because of the close in camera, you  can see their faces. Oh, and the faces look better in fable, not the animation, but just the facial graphics look better than Fable 2.

That, or you could upload the data from your Fable II saves.

    Re: ideas for fable 3

I never liked the idea that your a hero but ant much bigger then the guards.I thank the next fable you should be huge like HEEMAN huge, you know a rill worrier and if we choose to be a wizard we should look like a wizard like the old guy on Harry Potter.Maybe the next fable can be about the old kingdom and new characters that where back then. Make the ending off the next one the beginning of the first fabel game.I thought fabel 2 could of had more back ground on what happen to the last fabel hero, maybe showed us where the kids came from in fabel 2.I always did like the old sword and kingdom games.I like the angel wing idea some one had, that would be cool maybe even fly.Just maybe even becoming king or a knight would kick ass. Also I dont want to look like every one else please give me some rill armour and weapons,I mean ant a hero special cant i get my own armor, weapons and clothes, not just the same crap every one else has.Plus are all hero's human? cant I be a killer balverine hero.

If you could fly, there would have to be enemies in the air, some kind of twist. Flying would make transport to easy.

I agree, we should find out where the kids came from. Maybe just illegitimate children?

If you want an old guy for a wizard, that's cool, whatever works for you. I just hope they don't bring back the old aging system for the spell using.
