yo Op here, obviosly. i see the future thing isn't going over well mind you i don't intend a serious departure from the current fable architecture i just mean different materials and also no fully auto matic weopons. more like riffled bolt actions or riffles with magazines not these (fun) insane multi barrels.

but aside from my fable three ideas I love all of the ideas that have been posted, and think somebody should definately take a look at what we've come up with.

Re: What would you like to see in Fable 2 future DLC, and even "Fable 3?"

I wish they would make it so we could differenciate from other peoples characters in so many more ways then choosing how to end the game and the equipment we use. It would be really G o o d [Good] if you could start off and choose what jobs your parents had (blacksmith, noble, cook) or if you even had parents. Say you were bought up rich you could barter better, but if you were bought up on the streets you had better thieving.

BTW hell to the no with automatic weaponry, I would never buy a fable game with automatic guns in. I think the weapons they have now are fine as it is. It would be G o o d [Good] if you could own more than just houses, boats for example or coaches- every so often you get attacked and have to defend it.

I wish you could die, but make it a special death like I said before in another thread. Not just you get slashed and you die but you could have your head chopped off and it would be dreadful to watch your hero die - but it would be better than no death, it would add so much more emotion to the game, anger, sadness-

They need to add more depth to the game, conversations you can have with people, lighting fires in your house, sitting on chairs. Building other rooms onto your house, such as basements or attics. Weapon cupboards. Massive Trophy rooms. Just a few things mentioned there. if they were added I would never stop playing Fable 2, but as soon as you complete the main mission there is jack all to do.

P.S make it harder to get money with rent, by the third day of playing I was millionaire and had the ruler of albion achievement, its so much more fun and rewarding when you have to work for money

Blacksmithing (Custom weapons and armor) Alchemy More outfits or weapons New pub games or jobs Stronger creatures More alignment choices More hairstyles or dyes More tattoos or makeup More titles for different genders More customizable houses These are just my ideas. Maybe throw in a mount or so.

Re: What would you like to see in Fable 2 future DLC, and even "Fable 3?"

    1. Skin Surgery/Doctors - I believe in a Fantasy World they're should be possibly sickness/bugs that go around that could make your player sick, and requires Medical Treatment, which could then lead to body malfunctions, and unless treated you're players physical status, dexterity, could be Infected; And I always thought you having a STD would be more than just saying you're infected, it truly does not do anything.

    2. Create your own company, for Ex: Restaurant, a business of your own where you can sustain your own prices/food types, and allow yourself to cook the food, as well as run the restaurant yourself as a Manager, by doing so gain Renown. By doing so it could possibly be a bit corny, although it could the idea itself could be edited to the developers interests.

    3. Renown system revamped to where it serves more of a purpose than just a number when you press START.

    4. Become the Mayor of a town/city, where you can sustain a political government on how the town runs financially, which could give a G o o d <img src="> taste to the Economy Star System, which I feel could have been improved immensely.

    5. Think about the Armor System, in the recent Knothole Island Expansion you're able to achieve the Knothole Armor with Silver Plating, and of course it adds attraction, but possibly a Armor Value where it means more than just Attraction Bonus's/Looks, you take just as much damage with armor, as you running around with no skivvies on.

I have many more Interesting Ideas which I'm thinking about, really does not matter though, could be cool though.

Y not have some viking armor and weapons and samurai weapons and clothing; like in the next dlc have an area with vikings and Asians being harassed by a dragon and it's because they stole his/her egg and you could choose to get it or kill the dragon and depending what you do you get a different item.

You think I'm in here with you; Your in here with me "Rorschach"(Watchmen)

Re: What would you like to see in Fable 2 future DLC, and even "Fable 3?"

I dont want it getting to foreign, I like it as Fable and Fable 2 cos its got the G o o d [Good] British Magic. I think they should just keep it more like Fable, not some mmo or mmorp or mmogirkld

Re: What would you like to see in Fable 2 future DLC, and even "Fable 3?"

    1) a trip to either the spire again or samarkand

    2) real independent coop (not going to happen with DLC but you asked)

    3) more armor and visible pistols on the character model

    4) different difficulty levels (as #2)

Re: What would you like to see in Fable 2 future DLC, and even "Fable 3?"

Personally I'd like to see augmentable armor, probably samurai armor or knight armor. Even a few different weapons, like a giant's sword, or an assault rifle.

I would also like to see the ability to do quests in the North with the warrior monks and quests in Samarkand as well. A few dungeons with time challenges would be great; the quicker you finish the better the prize. A range of crystal weapons for instance.

I personally think it would be great to bring back thieving as an ability. Also, as mentioned in earlier posts, your spouse and child's image would be effected by your alignment.

Why not additional versions of the Crucible competition? will only, strength only, and/or skill only?

A new set of quests towards reviving the Old Kingdom's Hero's guild might spark Fable fans to life, and more clothes with 'hood-on/off' options, different hair styles, more tattoos, and skin dyes would add to the individuality of the Fable genre. I mean, what bandit would ever expect a purple guy to charge in and slice his head off with an axe.

Re: What would you like to see in Fable 2 future DLC, and even "Fable 3?"

    1. I would like to see more interaction with the town's people, such as getting them to help you with your quest more, not just giving them gifts and visa verse.

    2. I want to be able to customise my own weapons and armor, by actually forging/making them myself. Although still keep the clothing purchases in shops/stalls as they are.

    3. More challenging foes... The current ones are so easy and boring to fight.

    4. To be able to have any familiar of your choice not just a dog. (personally i'd have a bird).

    5. To be able to customise your character's voice and facial features more, rather than just buying tattoos and face makeup in the shops.

    6. More will powers... such as water, ice, earth etc.

    7. Customisable fighting styles and move sets, e.g Samurai/Ninja/Mage etc.

    8. In co-op the camera control should be the same as single player. Because at th moment it is really annoying.

    9. Lastly i wanna be able to kill the really annoying kids in the game. ( they just scream and say really stupid things).

Nice one guys. Down []Stick out tongue [:P]Up []

Re: What would you like to see in Fable 2 future DLC, and even "Fable 3?"

I would like a DLC called 'The Gathering' where up to 20 players can all meet up on a new iseland and then set on ships provided and set out for quests , jobs etc . Each player with a noral camera view ( Unlike the current co-op view) . Also a ranking system like other popular XBL games which would be displayed over the players head that reachs up to 100 . With a set of new achievements Wink [;)]

Re: What would you like to see in Fable 2 future DLC, and even "Fable 3?"

I am posting my wishlist on as many of these kinds of threads as possible in hopes that someone at Lionhead will read it and use them: 1. Less towns, more developed (more homes, more businesses, bigger), in other words, quality over quantity. 2. Economies of towns as affected by player decisions stinks (e.g. - if I accidentally gave Arfur warrants, I want to be able to build up Old Town economy as an adult, and not just the stars on the menu screen, which only update for certain towns and usually end up bugged and jacked up anyways. The whole visual of the town should change - buildings, people, clothes, merchandise, population, etc. Even jobs). 3. More weapons, more clothing, more accessories. WAY more. This cannot be overstated. It was awesome trying out different guns, especially clockwork rifle/pistol, turret pistol, blunderbuss, etc. MORE MORE MORE. Also, weapons should not be glued to my back with invisible anti-gravity holsters. There is a glitch in the first DLC quest snowglobe, where your character sometimes has his pistol attached to his stomach, so it looks like you guys might have played around with this option during production. I vote for a side/body holster for guns and a side/body sheath for weapons. And if this does happen, side sheath should be animated to individually fit all diff’t types of weapons, meaning if I carry a cleaver, it shouldn’t be sticking out of the sheath. It should be completely covered. Also, option of carrying a weapon at all is HUGE. If I am a Will user, I can’t wear my will-user outfit ‘cause it fits terribly and the colors suck, even after using dyes. j/k, more on this later. Seriously, if I am a Will user, I might not want to carry visible weapons on me. Heck if I’m laying with some ladies, I don’t want weapons on me either. (Side note: Sex animations should be more detailed and visible, not in a porno kind of way, but like you can show the 2 or 3 or 5 of us in bed together laughing/cuddling/whatever, or something. Not just black screen with two random sentences and baby crying in the background ) 4. MUCH BETTER CUSTOMIZATION OF CHARACTER, INCLUDING A WAY TO DISTINGUISH RACE (A MUST). Some gamers, like me, like to customize their player, at least initially, to their own physical mold, as if they were the character themselves. Of those gamers, NOT ALL OF THEM ARE WHITE!!!!!! Also, when fitting clothes, please make them fit right. Some clothes look cool in the picture, but after you put them on, you’re like, “Not at all what I had imagined, toss.” 5. Accuracy does NOT affect height, G o o d [Good] morals does NOT turn your hair color to blond, being E v i l [Evil] does NOT make you grow horns, and being G o o d [Good] does NOT put a visible halo on your head. In fact, I want to be able to customize my player’s look/development BEFORE I start the game (see previous point). I should be able to be corrupt AND look G o o d [Good], isn’t that how most corrupt people are anyways? You can still allow for the player to gain weight, get older, etc. But I don’t want to be obligated to walk around as a hayfever-skinned, coldsore-faced horned demon if I just want to blend in as an E v i l [Evil] and corrupt citizen. You can account for E v i l [Evil]/corruptness in other ways, like affecting the characters public image which would change how NPCs interact with you or something. Point is, it doesn’t have to always affect appearance, and for the most part, that was a downer for Fable 2. 6. Experience should be collected AUTOMATICALLY, I should not have to stand still and hold down R-trig for 30 seconds while waiting to collect orbs, that’s the most retarded thing I’ve ever seen. 7. No random skin color of kids. If I am a white male mating with a white female, my kid should not turn out BLACK!!! How crushing it is to play for 10 hours, trying to develop my life as a pure and moral citizen, spend 10 years in the Spire trying to save the world, only to come back home and see a kid saying, “Daddy, welcome home, I’m your son!”, when it’s obvious it’s NOT my child!!!!!!!!!!! A little common sense here is not difficult to program into the game. 8. MUCH more developed family life. You sell us on this great interactive family thing, and the only thing about it is, lay with wife as many times as possible (while catching many STDs), pop out other-ethnicity child, sleep in another town for 7 days, return to see child as an 8 year old for the rest of the game. That’s such crap imo. Children should see MANY more stages of development. If they grow too old (past 1Glasses [8)], then they move on, either never to be seen again (would be same as child services taking them after wife dies/leaves), or they can “pop” in every so often, with their new family or whatever, which reminds me…. 9. After choosing “Love” at the end, ROSE IS STILL DEAD!!!!!!!!!! Don’t give me this F-ing carp about the letter, and that she’s with Jack or whoever. If she is alive, there is no WAY that she wouldn’t want to be near me. She should have appeared again, living somewhere like in Old Town, with more quests. And after you missed out on this, you also missed out on her development, she could have found a husband, had children, etc. It’s not hard people. 10. Speaking of end game choices….the 3 choices at the end was the worst part of the game by far. I spent so much time devoted to my character/family, only to find out: “Love” choice ONLY brings back dog and family (see above for Rose), and “Sacrifice” choice brings back everyone else EXCEPT dog and family. Okay, so Theresa, you have the ability to bring people back to life, even an ENTIRE TOWN, and you can’t throw in my wife, kids, dog, and sister? You can ONLY do either/or? BS!!!! Basically, the choices should have been completely different. Even the third choice was ridiculous b/c at that point, 1 million dollars is nothing. Which bring me to… 11. Economy overall was WAY too easy to overcome. A few rounds of weapons muling from Old Town 50% discount to Fairfax 35% markup and you can be set for life. Also, the discount/markup thing was bugged, if I get a 50% discount at a shop, it doesn’t mean I also SELL everything for 50% discount to that shop. That was a pretty bad oversight, testing team should be catching stuff like that 100% of the time. Anyways original point, you can make the economy more realistic/harder without making it a theme-park style, even though I believe you can do both ARPG and theme-park at the same time, you’re Peter Molyneux after all. 12. Regarding jobs and the economy, jobs like blacksmith/bartender/woodcutter were BORING, but necessary if you didn’t want to weapons mule/cheat. The assassin and bounty hunter jobs were worthless b/c they didn’t pay jack squat compared to the boring jobs. Imo, those jobs should have paid the most by FAR. Taking a job to KILL someone should pay way more than a job where you toss up drinks all day. To be completely specific here, compared to what “boring” jobs pay, I would expect an assassin job to pay me somewhere near 20K per hit to start, increasing as I get more experience, up to like 100K or even 500K-1Mill depending on the notoriety of the mark. Bounty hunter jobs could pay much less, but still way more than woodworking. And overall $$ needed to buy a town should be WAY WAY WAY WAY higher. You can buy Knothole Island for like $150K, come on now. And as stated in the beginning but cannot be overstated, more development of the towns. Spread more homes around the outskirts of the town’s business market. Put in more shops. Have more than one person working in a particularly large/busy store. 13. If I buy food/potions from a shop, let me use/eat it as I buy it. I don’t want to have to go searching through the menu for an item I know I want to buy and use immediately. Same goes for books and anything else I’m forgetting. 14. Either no digging, or make the cut scene much shorter than 15 seconds. Same goes for treasure chests. A huge time waster in the game was opening treasure chests that contained “treasures” such as jets, rusty necklaces, and watered-down xp potions. No thanks. 15. More variety of monsters. There were only about 6 different monsters to encounter during the game. Though I guess that’s on par with the all white race thing except for one black guy and about 25 native Indians. 16. Finally, better looking NPCs. Guys especially looked like ***. Some females had nice racks, a few nice faces, that’s about it. And clothes, NO MATTER WHAT ERA YOU ARE DEPICTING, can and should look stylish. I would have liked to marry a nice girl from Oakfield if it weren’t for the Where’s Waldo stockings every single one of them wore.
