I already screwed around 25+ times, de-testiclified (Barnum taught me that one) 25+ people, and opened all of the demon doors. Will these achievements be given to me right off the get go?

I dont believe they will allow youto get the achievement if you already performen the act before downloading the DLC. Ive never seen a game that did this, if annyone knows of one PLEASE let me know.

You know "Scythe" was a necromancer, I guess he will be making a return.

    VERRY true!!

He might make a return, like he did in The Lost Chapters, wich came out after the original Fable, OR, it could be a completely different character, new to us...

    Re: New Achievements

You know, I just thought of something...what happens if there's a new demon door in this DLC? And what if it's hidden in the snow-globe village? That's an easy way to avoid that situation.

But if not, we can always try stepping through one of the doors and see if the achievement unlocks that way too. Kinda like the gargoyle achievement.Wink [;)]

    Re: New Achievements

This is a landmark in videogaming industry. No other game went past 1250 total gamerscore points and Fable 2 will now beat all other games out there by going to 1350. This must be what Peter was talking about when he said that his secret project will make the cover of Time Magazine.

This expansion must be larger than Oblivion's Shivering Isles.

You do realize that Halo 3 has 1750, don't you?

We've got 5 years left to crying.

Oh yeah forgot about Halo 3. Still Halo 3 is Microsoft's greatest treasure so I'm not sure how to count that in the scheme of things.

    Re: New Achievements

Crap thats it? Balverine, hobbe, and a hollowman are the only costumes(besides the added clothes). Then again those are pretty much the only monsters there are besides trolls.

Edit: So the costume on the right on the StF page is the hollow man costume? It don't really look like one at all... wheres there nose? It would have been better if it was a zombie mask that you look just like a hollowman. If its not the hollowman and its the balverine I'm really dissapointed cause its hairless and ugly.

Both look like Hobbes to me.

Really? why does it look naked(the red straps look like it connects to its skin)

The one on the left is CLEARLY the Hobe Costume, and the one on the right is the Balverine Costume.

    I mean, just look below.

They probably connect the top of the costume to the bottom.

Erm, you realize GTA IV current has 1250 and still has another full expansion to go, while Gears2 has 1350 as well right?

    Re: New Achievements

    Yeah that's a Baverine costume.

Bwahahaha GoW 2 is the most overrated game on the xbox360 and GTA IV does NOT count untill it actually goes past 1250.

I can't believe they gave GoW 2 more achievements besides the fact that the game blows and that it has the most grindtastic achievements in existence.

Eh, you're right. The ears, teeth and lack of fur threw me off.

Oh well, it's just concept art. Hopefully, the real version is made from actual Balverine pelt.

Opinions are irrelevant. Expect more expansions with more achievements.

We've got 5 years left to crying.

    Re: New Achievements

I like how Trenton isn't counting games because he thinks they're overrated.

It's funny watching him make up excuses.

Anyway, they still both look like Hobbes, even if one is supposed to be a Balverine.

Balverines have sharp razor like teeth and claws. fur and glowing yellow eyes.

    Re: New Achievements

I didn't say it doesn't count. I was just so surprised I had to laugh.

And GTA IV does NOT have more than 1250 GS yet so trying to throw it on the plate is an excuse. Things can easily get cancelled or delayed.

Whether it blows or not(and it does not tbh) doesn't affect the fact that it has over 1250, and GTA IV is basically "accountable" since it's pretty much confirmed. But I guess it's not "official" then.

PS: Killing Scythe(if he really is that Necromancer) is against my morals.

    Its NOT concept art.

Although this --> "Hopefully, the real version is made from actual Balverine pelt." isn't a half bad idea at ALL!

Well they certainly aren't the in-game models.

It's not like this is the first time Lionhead used concept art in their marketing. Just take a look at the Fable II case and disc.

Actually those are in-game models with a bit of polish added. Just like they had in game models on the posters hyping up Knothole Island's items prior to release. These are exact replicas of clothing sets you'll have in the DLC.

It's the same thing as it was with Knothole Island. They show exactly what you'll get. Accept it or go stick your head in the ground untill it comes out.

Whats on the case/disk IS concept art, but the image I posted earlier is NOT concept art.

    This IS concept art.

    But this is NOT.

Do you see the DIFFERENCE? If not, then well...

Yeah, one of those is a conceptional, possibly 3d model (or just really well shadowing effects) done in a computer. The other was hand drawn, and then scanned in and touched up on a computer.
