Same problem too. I just made a account to tell lionhead that your a bunch of fuking idiots that need to do some fuking thing. I just finished the entire game. Just wanted to do the gay quest. I found the *** a boyfriend then i wanted to return. And it went black and freezes. Do something about it, make a patch. Fix this. I payed money for a game full with ***. And i also bought your fuking knothole glade ***. That sucked balls. That should have been free.

So yeah 5 months later, I went on this expecting this to be updated...it's not.

What an absolute disgrace, most developers would patch a game up by now especially considering the magnitude and sales numbers this game had. What annoys me most is the bullshit DLC, instead of addressing known problems (one look at the problems thread certaining shows the number of faults within the game) they go ahead and make more of the game, instead of helping out fans of the game who can't complete many other tasks otherwise. What I resent even more is that I have hardly seen any official post in these threads, a simple your problem is being looked would be at least suitable resurance.

Simply pathetic. I suddenly felt in the mood to play Fable 2 today, remembering that there was a bug fix patch I decided to head out and buy back a copy. Also remembering the DLC, I grabbed a points card as well. Almost $80 dollars later, I find that the game ruining issue I encountered months ago doesn't even seem to have been acknowledge by Lionhead... Maybe this isn't an issue on a new file, but I really don't want to start over. Bravo, Lionhead, way to support your product and loyal customers...

I for one cant believe the complete lack of response from lionhead on this issue.
They havent even acknowledged its a major problem let alone get onto fixing it.
Makes me think that either this bug is unfixable, or they simply just dont give a ***. Im probably going with the later.
Seriously though. *** this. Ive been waiting for a patch for ages too. Surely with so many people having this GAME ENDING bug there would have been at least an acknowledgement on the studios part. Not even that, its dispicable that they feel they dont have to answer to this and can continue to sell a very flawed product.

Im selling my copy of fable 2 and never buying anything from this half-baked company again.

No problem.  Then I get the ring of death.  Finally, I get a new xbox, and i decided to start all over again.  Why not? This game is pretty fun, a pretty time killer for weekdays.  This time, after hours and hours of hourding gold and XP and all the other crap, i press start and this mission caught my eye. It was a mission in Brightwood, tryin to find this dude a boyfriend.  So after i found the guy a boyfriend, I can't enter brightwood anymore. I tried automatically, and i @^^$">$@^^$# walked there numerous of times and then the screen turns black. So i figure i'd buy some furniture to soop up some cribs and collect rent and become a bygamist, while i wait to download the PATCH to fix the glitch. No furniture for sale, family's all havin mood swings and getting divorces, and now, NO PATCH.  To tell you the truth im not really with connecting online with the 360.  i know enuff to log on to play a few rounds of halo and stuff.  But for @%^'s">$@%^'s sake, why is it sooo hard to find a FREAKIN patch?! I've wasted 20 hours or so of my life, so wasting another 10 minutes to sign in and freaken *** about you guys is like peanuts.  I come into your site and i don't see you having any technical support on how to fix this BS.  Instead i see you guys are advertising new parts and all these over crap and totally not supporting people who spent 60 bux on this BS, so instead why don't you show it like it is.  why don't you post a huge picture of a fist with the middle finger extended rite on the site. thats what it feels like.  I hate you.

Just adding another entry to the tally of people suffering from this problem.

For us the game actually has saved while in Brightwood, and consequently now goes to a black screen crash every single time the game is loaded. Thus, that save profile is now useless and all progress thus far nullified.

Same problem here. I pop the game in from time to time in the hopes that they might fix this issue, but obviously they don't care now that they have everyone's money. I'll never buy a game from this studio again, and I'll be sure to tell everyone else that I can not to buy from them either. They don't give a *** about their customers.

I just encountered this problem with the main quest with Hammer and Garth. I can go into brightwood just fine with other characters. Are you going to fix this Lionhead? I paid money for this game.

Well is so blue that more than a year later there is no patch for such a big problem. Please lionhead do DO something about it.

Same problem here with brightwood Freezing. This F@king company sucks. And they have the nerve to advertise Fable III. Like I am going to buy it. F@ck no! Unless you come out with a patch that fixes my brightwood Freezing issue. You are not going to get a penny from me. Have you ever heard of customer service. What the F@ck, What the F@ck! Hell I am mad. I spent to much time playing this game for it to end up like this. Fix the F@cking brightwood Freezing issue already. Or you do not know how? Is that the problem?

I used the following cheat.
Infinite Experience *Pre-Patch*
Once you get into Bowerstone Market walk to Town Square. Once there you will find a potion shopkeeper on the left hand side. Walk around the right side of the buildings there and down an alley to find a house known as Monster Manor. Sleep in this manor to gain its benefit (+1 star of Physique) Once you gain this benefit, go to your abilities list, select physique and hit Y to unlearn it. You will find that the bonus star from the house does not disappear, but the experience is given to you anyway. You can repeat this process over and over, the more stars you have in physique the more exp you get each time. This experience is general experience and can be applied to any skills.

After giving myself 5 million exp. points, I maxed out all of my Strength, Skill, & Will spells. I was at level 4 or 5 in most areas anyway, so I don't feel too bad about this cheat.

I enabled the Cullis gate quest & ran all of the way there. I saved before entering Brightwood.
I successfully entered Brightwood & met Hammer & Garth. Game on.

Being forced to live by Lion Head values (eat veggies or get fat & being hit on by a gay bald guy) has ended my desire to buy any more Lion head games.

I used the following cheat.
