You are really doing to discount someone's argument because they are not familiar with an Xbox 360 development kit? There are actually six different types of kits commonly found in development studios. One of which is no longer used. Can you name them all? 

I just don't think the guy should be complaining. Its a collector's item that should not be used. You wouldn't use a decorative battle axe to chop fire wood, so why would you try to use this? I'd say it is quark that gives it more character and proves it is unique. Fifty years down the road someone might try and replicate it and sell it. Looking at the misaligned slots would help you prove if it was real or not.

Not sure about him, but I would not be a very happy camper.

Lionhead doesn't make the consoles, so its not their fault. And to be honest i'd be quite happy to have that thing just sat on my shelf, since my elite has all of my saves and stuff anyway. I'm not being dumb, i know i could switch the hard drives (dunno if the custom one has a hard drive even), but if the fable one did actually work, i'd only ever use it if my elite ever suffered from the RROD...

Geez some people are idiots. Just cause it's a nice shiny signed console it sort of ruins the effect that it will never be able to work. Might as well of given him a signed poster of fable 2, has the same functions as that xbox does.
And if any of you read the information regarding the competition (not the official competition page) it stated that it was an NSTC model so would not be able to be played in any other region, not that it wasn't playable anywhere.

lol, they probably sent him one of those consoles used to make fable 2, from their studios by mistake. That would fetch around $5000 on ebay.
Hope he researched that before he got the replacement, or he'll be kicking him self in the future.
