~Chapter 7~
He had been sleeping for what felt like centuries. Could it possibly have been that long? Alone with nothing but his thoughts, insanity would easily be reached. But erhaps it wasn't. A glow appeared, scorching his eyes, and he was pulled from the void and back into Eden. Hurtling towards the land, he collided with an island. It was aflame, and people were running round trying to douse the fires.
He heard the people praying tyo be saved from the fire, and realised that that was why he had been brought to Eden. He stood tall and doused the flames with a wave of his hand. He was more powerful than he had been before he died, he realised, and wondered why that could be.
"People, what race is this?" He asked the followers who had come to worship him. Being a Norse god, the buildings were completely unlike any he had knowledge of.
"We are the Japanese." One of thm said, bowing. Gor nodded.
"Then I shall be your god. Your city is much more impressive than the one I used to rule over. My name is Gor, use it well n your prayers.".
This set the people talking to each other. After he stared at them, perplexed, one of them spoke to him.
"The legends say that a Norse god by the name of Gor shall rise after being defeated by an Aztec. Is this what happened with you?" He said. Gor nodded.
"Well, it says he shall reunite with his creature who will have gained strength immensely, and shall take his tribe to immense riches." The peple started to talk again in excitement.
"And what does it say about the Aztecs?" Gor asked impatiently.
"It... it says nothing of them." The man said, disappointed he couldn't help.
"That is still fine. Well, you have docks, temples, altars, I can't quite see how I can drastically help you yet." Gor tried to figure out something to make a big impact on their lives.
"You can help our ally, that god is always in need. We try to help them as much as we can, but it's impossible." They said.
"Take me to them. Since they have a god, then this will help me regain Greonig."
"Greonig?"
"The name of my wolf. Now, what tribe are they?" He asked.
"They are the Greeks. We help them since they held off an Aztec invasion, they had a god too. It was that that reduced them to the state they are now. Before then, we were in that state and they were in ours."
"Describe this god..." Gor said, hardly daring to wonder if it was the same who had destroyed him.
"He had a blue cape and carried a gold and silver sword. He came about twenty years ago, and boasted of defeating another god. Was... was that you?"
