Re: Higgman's Awesome List of Quests

Balverines would be a faithful remake of the film Aliens complete with lines ripped directly from it. Balverines (lots of them) take the title role as the king and his elite guard investigate an underground mining town that has gone quiet, find freaky experiments being carried out on captured Balverines, go deep underground into the creatures pantry to rescue anyone that has survived, and find evidence that another country has paid for these experiments in order to use Balverines against you in war.

Expect betrayal by your close friends, total destruction of your carriage as you try to escape, find out that one of your elite guard is actually a Hobbe on one of those walking machines (but he'll sacrifice himself for you later), and finally escape back to your castle where the White Balverine will be threatening your kids.

"They're comin' out of the walls. They're comin' out of the goddamn walls!"

Sweetest moment in the game? My dog came back from the dead to help me open the Rookridge Demon Door. I fed him a snack and he followed me to see what the treasure was. When I left, he disappeared, having helped his master out one final time.

    The Crucible (continued):
The people against the crucible could give you the idea to build a heroes guild or a training camp in its place. There argument could be that you use your money to protect your lands not on pointless gruesome fighting.

    Death of A Salesman
A Sales man comes and offers you the chance of having the most powerful gun he has made and wont give it to you unless you do some tasks for him.
    1. Kill or Spare his buisness partner(Sparing him unlocks the other part of the quest if your G o o d [Good].)
2.(If you choose E v i l [Evil]) Sabotage another salesmens wares and kill his workers.
3.Bring the head of his boss by entering his estate, killing his guards, and killing him.

If you do those then you get the gun and a vacation house/base.  If you spare his partner then he will have you do these

1.Spy on the salesman who ordered you to kill his partner.
2.Swap the real G o o d [Good]s with the fake ones and warn the workers.
3.Stop the hired hitmen from killing his boss.

Once near the end the original guy will give you one last chance to finish it, if you dont you duel him and get the gun and his partner will give you 50000 gold for saving his boss.

    Trinitykill:

    Or Sandgoose V.3

The Civilisation say you have to fight thier protector "The Bird Of Sand" (the Archeologist explains it is the Legendary Sandgoose,

The Civilisation does not want to be revealed and send you to fight the sandgoose pretending it is a menace because they think you will not survive,  When you finish it it will crash to the ground and the leader turns up and begs you to let it live and not reveal thier existence in exchange for thier riches which involves 50,000 gold, A Legendary Weapon and clothes,  or The Archeologist wants you to kill it to bring back to mainland for Fame and fortune which gets you 250,000 gold and 50,000 renown which gives you early access to Fairfax Gardens

I'm not saying its bad. I honestly dont like this one as much as mine or the first one. I dont think an archaeologist would tell you to kill a thought-to-be-extinct animal. Archaeologists are all about fossils and things from the passed. They look at fossils to see what they ate, what they did, etc. A living version of it would be better than a hypothesized dead one. If they want it killed its usually for a biologist or someone to dissect it and they wouldn't dissect an endangered species, they would make them reproduce and when they get a "surplus" they would dissect and experiment on it. I think mine and the first one are a little more detailed and mine offers unique archaeologist quests afterword and a purpose to seek the archaeologist out. I think fable 3 is a little too much in the future for living civilizations to be left and I think the archaeologist would be at a dig-site rather than a civilization that's thriving.

I'm trying to give constructive criticism and I'm not trying to insult you.

Re: Higgman's Awesome List of Quests

oh yeah true....how about it's not an Archeologist and he/she's an Amateur Adventurer who has always wanted to adventure and become famous, so they have no regard for creatures other than themself, and seeing as the Sandgoose will not ever go with them no matter what they do because they cannot capture something so big it will only come with them "Over It's Dead Body", And it Is A Legendary Creature "Born From the Sun"and is the only one in existence, and only reproduces 1 Asexual offspring every 500 years but lives for 500 years so it will create a new one then die, so its impossible to get 2 of them,

and maybe the civilisation thats underground have never been to the surface and have lived thier there entire lives farming food from the soil, a simple village life, the village is then found when the adventurer is exploring caves and the cave collapses but opens a hole in the wall which reveals the underground Tribe,

Okay that should clear up things a bitBig Smile [:D]

Re: Higgman's Awesome List of Quests

I'd like to see some quests like ones from Fable TLC. Like the White balverine quest, and the main Bandit Camp quest.

I definitely think they should have a proper bandit camp in Fable 3, as well as a big trader camp with traders that can fight. The bandits and traders could fight against each other, there should be a quest where you help one of them, help traders: G o o d [Good], help Bandits: Bad

I think it would be better if they had G o o d [Good], E v i l [Evil], and neutral items in this game. Like if you help the bandits in this game they'll sell you E v i l [Evil] clothing at lower prices than other stores and the traders would sell you G o o d [Good] clothing if you help them. The other store would be wiped out if you help you help one though and you wouldn't be able to get the items they have at a discounted price.

    Tyrant's crown, Bloodstained cape?
    Or,
    Benevolent Ruler's Crown, Magnificent Cape?

Maybe even the clothing that you wear affects how it is that people respond to you? Wearing the E v i l [Evil] clothing will make the people fearful of you as you pass, but E v i l [Evil] people will aplaud you.
Or, if you were the neutral clothing, the people will respond normally, but if the G o o d [Good] outfit is adorned, it'll modify their opinion of you, slightly.
Can't wait to read more of your quests!
Don't take me seriously, unless I'm serious.
