It's one piece of concept art. It's not like Fable III is Les Miserables. Right? WTF [:wtf:]

Forget Les Miserables. I suggest Spamalot.

    Right? WTF [:wtf:]

Wait a minute! Fable III is a musical!

    Nooooooo! afraid [:afraid:]

As king we'll be walking down the street with some members of the court and some security detail and we'll stumble upon some cockney children that suddenly break into song. Not only that, it will be a depressing song! Depending on their performance you could reward them and offer them some toppin's or you could have a member of your security detail set the alley on fire.

Wait I'm starting to like this. Cheeky [:cheeky:]

hah i dont get the bags last post..but either way im pumped that a Dev commented on my post Up [] dreams do come true..hah jk, anyways yeah i just want fable to be like simple times, i dont want all these new technology coming out, id rather have it be like

the first half of the game since your not king yet...you should be in the woods alone and be able to build your own little hut and go out hunting animals with your bow and arrow, not your flintlock rifle. and i just dont like the idea of modernizing it, ive always been a fan of medieval stuff, its just my personal opinion

We all know why you like the medieval setting mikeboy92. It's all of the female characters wearing the skimpy clothing that barely keep their breasts from popping out.

I would first like to state that you are wrong mikeboy92. Fable has never been a fantasy land. It contains monsters that are magical but the world itself has and always will be normal. There has not once been a magical city players could go to in Fable.

I'm not upset by the new concept art and I think its great.  But the one thing that concerns me is what looks like eletirical wire hanging near the covered walk way towards the back of the scene.

I really like all the concept art, and I hope the game matches the concept.

Re: is anyone else upset by the "new" concept art?

Considering the success of the Grand Theft Auto series I think it makes sense to open up the world of Fable and uncover the seedy, underbelly of Albion.

Fast horse carriages, real working brothels, and lots tanks and helicopters and guns! Yeee hawww!

    Or something.

Re: is anyone else upset by the "new" concept art?

It doesn't really matter which era they go into, this is the Fable world. Technology can become lost as easily as it can be advanced. It would make for an interesting boss fight in Fable 4, an ancient hero who uses the ancient technology of a gun.

Re: is anyone else upset by the "new" concept art?

I think what ya'll are seeing  are steam pipes.  We are moving into the industrial age.  They used steam and coal and gas in that day in age.  Steam power still works well with fantasy and roll playing.

Look at some of Jules Vernes Books.  He wrote  his stories at the hight of the Industrial age.  Though now that I think on it his books lean more towards antique science fiction.

I say give Bowerstone(Venice) a chance.  I think the canals will be cool maybe we'll have a royal barge that we can ride on,  and the tactics of sneaking into town from the water.  Think about it the possibilities are endless.

I disagree about it looking like the backstreets of New York It reminds me of the backstreets of London...small dingey taverns and possibly a steelwork factory at the end of the strip.

yeah to me it looked like either Venice or London, which is basically Bowerstone if you think about it, looks like Victorian Era of England in London
