CiberX15: triniFABLEfan:Opponents are TOOOO WEAK. I get BOARD of winning fights so easy. more bosses will be great. More stuff to do in town, after the main story is over the game gets dull (the slave rescues and whatever are too easy and boring) ![Up []](/emoticons/icon14.gif)
It would be nice to see more chanlenge, but not everrything should threten you, expecially when your more powerful later in the game. It's annoying in games Oblivion that a pathetic rat takes 2-6 hits to kill, no matter what level you are as it levels up as fast as you do. It would really be great to see if the enemies DIDN'T get more powerful with you, but instead the newer areas would provide more challenging opponets. You could have an area that early level player shouldn't go due to greater level enemies.
As said it would be great to see more to do after the main quest is over. I wish I could think of suggestions for this, but right now I sadly cannot ![Tongue Tied [:S]](/emoticons/emotion-7.gif)
Thanks for reading
They could also make it so that at the end of the game you have made the bad guys so mad they start sending better soldiers against you than you were fighting at the beginning of the game.

Racial demographic in Fable III. And Cats.
I totally get that Albion is a historical magical Britain, but, as an idea, could Fable III maybe reflect today’s racial demographic? After all, in the current Fables I can be a man, I can be a woman, I can be straight, I can be gay – all of which is great - but I can’t be any colour other than white. Why not? I think it would be cool if there was a bit more diversity amongst the citizens of Albion, especially in the bigger cities like Bowerstone. – and there are some great characters from literature to draw inspiration from - Rallick Nom, Kalam, and Quick Ben from Steven Erickson’s Malazan Book of the Fallen series – for example And another thing, Cats. I like dogs, and was happy to pay 10,000 gold for a husky upgrade – but I’m just more of a `cat person’ myself. Could we have a cat option in the new game please? I’m thinking along the lines of the hunting cats out of the Robin Hobb, Shaman, series – like domestic cat, only bigger. I don’t think it would be much or a drain on the game resource – just use a modified dog template and replace the bark with a `meow’, and a `purr'. My cat does pretty much most things a dog would – including fetching and returning balls I throw across the living room.
Looking forward to being the first gay, black, cat owning, King, or Queen, of Albion.

Agreed on the first point
To be honest, when Fable 1 first came out it was praised for the diversity in ethnicity of its characters. One of the things that annoyed me is that white voice actors were being used for black characters...which as an englishman was noticably horribly out of place. Maybe Lionhead could get more black english voice actors in?
I think the problem with allowing the player to have customisable skin colour is that the main characters family in game would have to change...which would be difficulty completely changing how certain lead characters look.

Changing your skin color would be possible depending on the race/skin color of the spouse of the Fable II character. So you could still have different skin color without completly altering Fable history.

The things that really made me love the first Fable game was the story, the world and the music. I loved the story, it was exciting and dramatic. I start off as a young boy in a small village that gets raided by bandits. I get taken to the guild where I learn about strenght, will and skill. I get my first quest, and from there on an epic, mysterical fantasy-story in a huge magical world begins. I'm trying saving the world from (the very awesome boss; ) Jack of Blades, perhaps I think that's what the story and the game is about, but no, even though that's what the story appears to be, the hole story is about me, how I am growing up to be the greatest hero the world has seen, how I get to know about my childhood family; my father, my mother and my sister. And while I go through the story I can chose my path. The world was mystic, full of legends, deamons, monsters and places. Behind everything, there was an interesting story. And the music made it all even better. Mystic, sad and happy music kinda brought you a feeling. Fable 2 didn't seem to have all this, the world wasn't as mystic and dark as in Fable 1, and the creatures and monsters weren't as awesome. The worst thing about it was the story. It began kinda cool, but there was no mystic in it. Jack of Blades was a very cool boss, an enemy I enjoyed fighting, cause he wasn't really human and I had very little knowledge about him, I knew there was an interesting story behind him, even though I didn't get to know it. Lucien was a boring character and not very unique, I had seen his type of character so many times before. Also I didn't like the hole thing with the 4 heroes, I prefered when it was all about me. The story was also very, very short in Fable 2.
I really hope they fix all of the stuff to Fable 3 that they screwed up in Fable 2.

There are about a million billion things that could be added to Fable 3, but if I had to identify an area that needs to be addressed, it would be in end-game balance. In Fable 2, on both the physical combat and economic survival fronts, you start off very weak and have to struggle to survive, but by the end of the game, you're pretty overpowered, killing hordes of enemies easily AND owning the entire country. These are the primary areas that need work, and here are a few thoughts to do so: Combat - * Status Effects : most other RPGs have these guys, why not Fable? There were the poison Balverines in the "See the future" DLC who gave a slight visual status effect, but that is hardly enough of one. At the least, having enemies knock your weapons out of your hands as you can do to them seems fair. Temporary blindness would also be an easy one to justify for certain enemies. * Group Tactics/attacks: especially with humanoid enemies, it seems odd that there aren't any of these. Some simple concepts are to have bigger heavier guys order weaker guys back so they can fight you man to man while the weaker guys shoot at the hero. Or have one to two weaker enemies grab the hero from behind immobilizing them and preventing them from attacks by other enemies. * More magic wielding enemies: it seemed especially odd that there weren't really that many of these in Fable 2. And if more were added you could establish a "Wizard's duel" concept where certain spells could counteract others to negate them. * Stronger enemy defenses: For the most part all enemies in Fable 2 seemed equally susceptible to most attacks with only a few exceptions of certain enemies being particularly weak to certain attacks. This concept needs the reverse of certain enemies being particularly strong against certain attacks (maybe a new balverine shrugs off bullets or a new ghost is immune to melee strikes) in order to mix up combat even further. * Better differentiation between user weapon types: Seriously, why in the world would I as a user choose a clockwork pistol over a turret pistol, or either over a equivalent rifle? Why would anyone choose an axe over a katana? The differences between most weapon types are far too narrow and subtle, and the "best" weapons become very immediately obvious. This especially obvious with the "attack speed" stat. The "slow" weapons really aren't that slow and don't gain a very hefty damage bonus for being slow either. - Economy - *Higher upkeep values: For the most part, in Fable 2, you really do not need to spend a lot of money on a day to day level to keep your character going. By the end game, you're raking in oodles of money every few minutes, but very little needs to go out of your bank with the exception of the little bit your family might require. This is VERY unbalanced. Especially when there are several things that could be done to counteract it. 1) Stamina or Energy. It would have to be a new base stat but essentially something that tracks your character's weariness, thus forcing the character to eat a meal or rest at an inn roughly once a day or suffer consequences (perhaps slowly draining health?). 2) Ammunition and resharpening. Seriously, when there is plenty of money to go around, having the user buy some ammunition doesn't really hurt them that bad. As for melee weapons, having them get duller over use and require the occasional resharpening would be a very minor drain on the user's resources and time but help add up to not having WAY too much money. Plus this might also help differentiate weapons more ( a club probably doesn't ever need to be seen by a blacksmith again, but a katana might need constant maintenance). 3) Or a very simple concept, lower the rate at which rent is paid to the player. It was coming to my guy what seemed at least twice every game day, which is a bit ridiculous. Everyone in Albion pays rent twice a day? Hell once a week would be high, but twice a day? Come on! * Taxes: Perhaps this would only come into play if you owned property, but the occasional tax here or there would make a lot of sense AND help keep the player's bank from going out of control. * Black Market ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) s: Far too much stuff is available from Albion shopkeepers if you ask me. And there is far too little in the way of black market ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) s, which cost higher amounts. Simply put, a black market economy that increases corruption and lowers a main economy in every town would add a lot of diversity and interest. I understand that's a lot of stuff to take in, and I have plenty more in the ways of ideas for a Fable 3, but these are the areas that I feel need the most fixing and the game would be better for fixing in the most obvious ways.
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

Fable 3 seems to be going in its own direction at this point. But regardless, these are some things I would like to see:
More dynamic combat. I want a two button mechanic-one for a quick, light attack and a slower, heavy attack. "Flourishes" should be specific combat moves, and once purchased, should be a combination of button presses. For example, decapitation might be a light/light/light/heavy combo.
Weapon cycling. Navigating through three menus simply to change a weapon is uncalled for and takes away from the game. The different weapons need too be more useful as well. Give me a reason to use an axe instead of a katana.
Combat cycling. I want to be able to select which style to use. While in melee-style, X could be a light attack while Y would be the heavy attack. With a click of the shoulder button I whip out my firearm and the face buttons (a,b,x,y) are remapped for range combat. Another click on the shoulder and your Will-lines (which vanish when not in Will mode) flare up and you're ready for spell-slinging. Also need a better mechanic for spell casting and better spells.
Active Clothing. If I dress like a bandit, I should be able to walk right past a bandit camp without being harassed. If I dress like a harlot, people should pay ME for sex. Obviously, a majority of the clothing would be cosmetic, but a handful should have some practical use.
There's a bunch of other minor things, like choosing the color of you clothes directly from the clothing menu (not having to go back and forth one color at a time), not using the D-pad for emotions when the circle menu was easy and quick to use (see weapon cycling above- left/right melee, up/down range anyone?), being able to buy furniture while in remodel-mode, have the store menu tell me if I already own an item before I choose to buy it, different animals each with their own unique ability, tougher enemies, boss battles that involve outsmarting your enemy. . . . . . the list can go on.
Lets just hope Fable 3 lives up to half it hype.

Very ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) idea on combat styles. You're absolutely dead-on with clothing.
The list must go on.

Idea #3: Bring back fishing and Fist fighting.
Idea #4: Have it so you can sit down at the table with your family and eat Breakfast lunch or dinner.
Idea #5: Would it be awesome if you could cook for your family and serve food to your family and dog.

1: Not sure how that would fly
2: Agree
3: Agree... fishing was for those moments when health and money and inventory was way too low... Fist fighting was just plain fun.
4: sims
5: sims 2 pets
Just my opinion

How about in Fable 3 they could make sure it doesn't freeze after playing for 20 f****ng hours, leading to a loss of all your progress? Or at least fix the *** after 6 + months?
Basically, if they could make a game that actually worked, it would be a start.

Personaly i think fable 2 was a testrun for the 360... an elaborate one but still. Baseing this only on the fact that deveopment between the two overlap so signifacantly so maybe this time they will " fingers crossed".

I was annoyed how I couldn't share the bed with my wife. In reality, marrieds sleep in the same bed and cuddle. We should be able to do that, and see a short animation of both of them in a cuddle.
There's some other stuff that could go into that, with the addition of your wife's mood. Says she's mad, the kind of mad that says "no cuddling tonight". So, there should be a short animation of the two of you sleeping in the bed without touching. Maybe she's the kind of mad that says "sleep on the couch/floor". There should be a couch or a spot on the floor where you can sleep, when you confirm that you want to go to sleep when you select the bed, you get a reprimand from your spouse, and go to sleep in the other spot. Oh, and you know how when people get drunk, and they smell bad? If your wife isn't the drinking kind(note, every NPC in Fable II drinks), she can deny you a spot on the bed.
Dog shed. The dog should also beg you for food or whatnot. You could train him to not beg, and then by some visual cue along with dog body language, you would be able to know how your dog is feeling, if they wanted food or water, or to play. In Fable 2, your dog just reacted, that's all. If it wanted something, it communicated it subtly. The Hero could use expressions and the like, but there was no communicable initiative from the dog to the Hero.
Will we see tobacco in this game?

Wouldnt that make the dog more annoying for some players if you had to keep feeding this thing that kept bringing you condoms, Tobbaco? yeah sure lets have cannabis too! Guard: "Sir Should we fend off the bandits" Hero : "nar im Foonkin stoned!" forget that bit although i could see richer characters smoking pipes so i could sit on my throne pondering where to plunder and i shall stroke my beard and light my pipe and watch little circles of smoke drift up into the air,

My ideas- -The Limited Edition should have a quest where you get archon's armor towards the end of the game(like the dungeon fable 2's LE gave you but instead of a dungeon its a whole quest that takes a considerable amount of time to do(much more than the other legendary stuff) so you feel the actual value of it unlike fable 2's stronger legendary items that takes like 10 minutes to do.) To get you an idea I think it should be harder to get than getting it in Fable TLC. - The LE gives you Ezio's clothes(assassin's creed 2) like fable 2 gives you Hal's Armor. The "new" Bowerstone picture looks like Venice and Assassin's Creed 2 takes place there. - Depending on what temple you destroy in the game it gives you a sword or some other item that lets your ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) / ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) and pure/corrupt meter be able to go higher.( ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) temple= ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) and pure, ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) temple= ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) /corrupt). This cause you to be able to transform even more(like the red demon on the cover of Fable 2). -The sandgoose (real one) makes an appearance. -You can get all the clothing from fable 2 into fable 3 later on in the game.( getting gold, weapons, and other things will make the game to easy). -SouthCliff (from the fable2.com game) should make an appearance -DLC should give you BETTER weapons than what you can get from the actual game(I never switched the daichi and red dragon and they're the easiest ones to get -_-). And if the DLC has one legendary weapon like in StF make it better than that crappy royal scepter. -Make legendary items EXTREMELY hard to get. It will make the game enjoyable and will make you feel you accomplished something (and random people will stop giving me them). -Get rid of income when you're not playing it makes it too easy - Obviously make the game longer. -Free Holiday Items (yes like in MMOs). There should be a short fun quest where you can get annual, untradeable holiday items, weapons and/or clothing and you wont be able to get them after the event is over(and it should give you a different one every year). -Stronger enemies -You can actually die if you dont have a revival potion.(revival potion saves you but you get a scar) Lionhead probably wont read this post anyway since theres more than 20 pages
"Don't report it when its funny."

When you become king in Fable III, it would be nice if people really respected you, whether you're ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) or ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) .
Bad King: If I'm playing as a powerful 'lawful' ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) king, That kills people only when they deserve it, I would love to be treated like Jack of Blades. People should fear but respect me. If I'm a chaotic ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) maniac that kills people randomly for no ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) reason, then people should run in fear from me,(except for shopkeepers of couse).
![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) King: If I'm a pure ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) king, then people should cheer me as their champion, and would gladly help me any way they could. If I'm a neutral king, then perhaphs they'd just respect me.
Orders: It would be awsome to be able to order peasents AND guard to follow certian commands, simple things such as follow me, stand still and go away. Whither they follow you or not depends on how much they like, fear or respect you. If they fear you enought, they could even stand still while you're shotting around them.
Funds: It would be really cool to have a castle funds. What the funds does is allows you to buy new banners and other such decerations for the castle and city, or allowes you to have improved guards. Improved guard keep the roads clearer making safer travel for traders, meaning more cool stuff for you. But improved guards are harder to kill if your ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) . If you horad the Funds, (giving you a fair amount of free cash) you will have less to spend on guards as much. Less guards means less trader travel, less cool stuff, and more bandits. The bandits might even get into the city.
Respect: Depending on your choices and actions as king, the people may respect you more or less. Example: There is a shortage of funds and you can do four things: 1 Give some of your own money. resulting in the people highly respecting you. 2 Do nothing in paticuler, resulting in the pesents not respecting you as much. 3 lower the spending(Don't buy as much stuff), resulting in the people respecting you. 4 Horad the treasury for your own selfish greed, resulting in the people having very little repect for you.
Depending on what you do, you could be a highly respected ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) king(Kind of like Jack of Blades) or a dissrespected ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) king.
King's Advanteges: It would be really really nice to have a lot of advanteges as king. Areas that were locked to normal folk would be open to the king, things such as the castle barracks, castle living quarters(of course), jail, etc.
Combat styles: I understand for each combat style you have to do a new entire bunch of animations for each style, but I really think it would be awsome (and worth it) to have fast, strong and normal comat styles. The normal sword animation was great for fable I and II, but it would be so cool if my character could move like a swashbuckler or a strong knight.
Thanks as always for reading, hopfully these ideas are worth writing down.
