What musical influences have been most substantial in your life? From being young until now...what did/do you listen to? ------------------ Pen = is mightier than the sword. Guin = (Ancient Egyptian for) Have you ever stopped a big guy who's swinging a sword with a pen(translation, chisel)? Then shut it. Leader of the B o E

I have an exhaustive list of influences. At school, in the late seventies, I was very much into punk/new-wave (stranglers, pistols ,clash etc.). In the early eighties I got into 70's rock - Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Hendrix etc. Late eighties/early nineties I was into soul/club and spent a long time producing white label mixes for the club circuit. The B52's are pretty much my favorite all time band but they are an acquired taste especially the early stuff.

I think that's typical ------------------ Proud to be a nomad, Poseidon, (formerly known as Jelmer) While he was thus in two minds, Neptune sent a terrible great wave that seemed to rear itself above his head till it broke right over the raft, which then went to pieces as though it were a heap of dry chaff tossed about by a whirlwind. Intelligent phrases in any of my posts are based upon complete coincidence
