    Re: BUG LIST - Updating

I got to the part in the main quest where (spoiler?) you get to Bloodstone, and I was surprised to see my wife walking around town with the rest of the villagers (our marital home is in the Bowerstone Market).  I know that I didn't tell her to follow me, and when I went back to the Bowerstone Market, she was in the marital home there waiting for me.  Back in Bloodstone, she is gone now, so it didn't mess up my game permanently or anything.  It was just... wierd.  Definately a bug, even if it's not as game-breaking as the others.

Ok here are some of my personal experiences with glitches and bugs etc, in no particular order.

    5. During the jobs such as blacksmithing or bartending, etc the little white point lags at times which can cause you to miss. This can be severely frustrating especially when you have your multiplier up and require fast reaction times to hit the "A" button at the time needed.

Yeah,  i notice this lag to, and i pretty much determined it's not when you hit it, it's when you release the button, like when doing expressions.

wow, somebody else actually mentions this, thought i was the only one. Anyway its not when you release the button because i have done rounds of blacksmithing where I held in the button and never released it and it would stop. The problem I believe is the frame rate during times when the needle is hitting faster speeds at higher multipliers. The constant loading from the cd doesnt help either, can cause a split second load time that hiccups the entire trajectory of the needle and cause you to miss.

I did a search and couldnt find this particular issue on here.

I was able to finish the first Bounty Hunter job, I went to turn it in and the guard was nowhere to be found.

It is currently set to my primary quest and my glowing trail will only show up if I am outside of the Oakvale zone. Ive spent a G o o d [Good] hour running around looking for this guy with no luck. Tired [:tired:]

Is it me or the game on this one?

Same bug happened to me. I also tried setting another quest as primary and then setting the bounty hunter one again as the primary quest and the guy is still gone. The same detail with the glowing trail happened to me too and this was the first bounty hunter question as well.

Sad [:(] I hope this doesn't prevent me from getting any of the bounty hunter jobs.

How bout the one where the screen does not fit the TV?

I have this problem too but I think it is just my tv because it does it for other games also. I noticed last night when I started to play F2 that anything that is listed at the top of the screen, like when the guard is giving you the quest as a child, or tying to read the sign posts, all but the last line is cut off and I couldn't read it. Also I cannot see my health bar because it is cut off. I've tried to adjust the screen both from the tv menu and from the 360 and nothing works. Wish I had my money right now to go get my new tv.

Have any of you tried to go into the TV's controls (menu) and change the way it displays content? Some HD TV's have "stretch" options or "zoom" options or different kinds of distort (like Toshiba has a few). It could be that the output from your game console does not match how the TV itself is set up to display. this would avoid you from having to see things with black bars on the sides. But it would cut off the top and bottom.

You'll need the original remote that came with the TV and get into whatever settings the TV has.

I've run into this myself and fixed it that way. Now I watch "square" shows with the black bars on the sides. It's not likely to 'burn in' on an LCD anyway. That's mostly a tube tv issue.

    Hope this helps someone.

I play on a standard def TV and have the top of my screen cut off too. No super-titles unless it's two lines then only the second line is viewable. Also I can't see my health bar. Real fun. I've seen the same problem reported by HDTV users as well. My TV has never done this with another game. Changing the video settings on the xbox dashboard doesn't help.

While it might not be a "game ending glitch" it has certainly proved to be a "I'm not going to play this game, thanks for the killjoy glitch."

    Bug with Bloodstone Expression Statue.

Just stands there and can't be activated no matter what -- needs a patch/update.

    Re: BUG LIST - Updating

1 - Stuff just disappearing out of my inventory.  Alot of random stuff, I think all items under misc, and several books - all the items from "Lucien's Diary" which I hadn't yet gotten around to reading/listening to.  Thats kind of a waste...

2- One baby dissapeared. Husband and other kid were still there, but the baby was gone...

3 - Lack of multiple saves is not ok with a buggy game or a game with so many ways the autosaves can do things you really dont want

4 - Somtimes there are main-quest lines to take and you still want to play the other content, and have no idea if those other items will be gone

5 - Have gotten stuck in doors but fast travel has worked most times to fix it.

6 - The troll in bower lake knocked me through the ground into permanent free fall, no way to get outta that one had to restart.

7- Funny bug : took husband to Bloodstone and bought a new house.  Whore was following us around so put husband on follow, whore on "come to my place", and took her to bed, unprotected. He got upset aftewards and ran out.  Ok so now I go get him again, he feels better, give him the "come to my place".  Meanwhile whore is still standing upstairs in my room.  Take husband to bed, except the sounds are from the whore!!!  Then when the blackness clears, husband is +Love, so it was obviously him, and the whore is just gone..  lol??

Re: BUG LIST - Updating (floating/gliding Player Model)

ok wow so I just loaded my game and I was at the crucible and my character isn't walking on the ground... hes just gliding around floating inches above the ground... he looks like an idiot and I don't know why its doing this?
I restarted my xbox and everything but no matter where I go or how many restarts hes still FLOATING around and it is completely taking away from the game expirience and is pissing me off!
I want my money back if this doesn't get fixed.
    How does this happen? BLOCKED SCRIPTInsertText('Down [:tdown:]');

Why does the last fight of the Crucible always add 5-15 seconds to my time? I can't beat it because of this.

    Re: BUG LIST - Updating

I don't have the time to read through 20+ pages but here is a list of glitches I have from a single play thru.

        Graphic Issues
    1. My character has White dread locks and sometimes they gltich and stretch way too far from her head.
    2. I've had this happen twice: at the end of the Crucible after the Troll is dead if I killed a Hobbe on his mound the Hobbe body freaks out on the ground at first then slowly spins in the air, his limbs going all crazy like. Histericle really.
    3. This is a glitch my friend found. The Demon Door in Bloodstone with the Winter Cabin. She entered the area once and after she got it she excited. She wanted to show her boyfriend and when she went back there the Cabin was invisible, still there I guess as she could see furniture on the 'top floor'.
    4. I have a picture somewhere. There was a lady in Westcliff that was walking around with a chair attatched to her hand and hip. It eventually disappeared.

        Strange Issues
    1. My child fails to respond to me, not moving or talking. I can't give her gifts she is right below my house sign. I just finally gave up and went on with the game and she returned to normal.
    2. Once my child was moving again she chased me around town and when I went to Smithing she wouldn't stop saying the same things over and over "Wait for me Mum" Exact phrase I had to end what I was doing, I continued and she stayed in the same place still saying. I slept in the bed and she was back to normal.
    3. Sometimes I find that if I lock onto a villager their stats won't go away. When I go to pull out my pistol I find that Anna likes pie and farts. Sad [:(]
    4. When I was doing the T.O.B.Y. quest, I'm sure this might be for other houses as well. It hit that time where the door closes. I ran in and as soon as I did the door hit me on the way in.  I got stuck in the house! I knocked on the door for giggles. Lucky I was in his house because I could vault out of his upstairs.

        Audio Issues
    1. If I have too many townsfolk around me and I dance or do other expressions the game gets silent, cuts in and out on audio and the audio lags, in a sense.

        Game Stopping
    1. The Crucible.... yep. I go 8/8 and beating my old record. I get a lovely little chest at the end.. mm.. items.. yum me likey. I grab the chest... wtf loading screen? My character cannot move at all, if I press certain buttons I can bring up the menu via the D-pad. I've tried changing her clothes, teleporting. Nothing. I have to restart my game and I can never go 8/8 on the crucible. Sad [:(] Bummer.

       Experience Glitch
    1. I don't know if I'm aloud to post this but I found a very very bad XP glitch that in about 5 seconds gave me 900k XP in each area...
I think this is unfair if everyone knows, it would make the leader board for XP pointless.

    Re: BUG LIST - Updating

1)Rising Sun weapon glitch - I don't know how it happened, but every time I would go into the map of Oakfield, I would gain the Rising Sun weapon again.  This was after I had already donated to get one, but it would keep giving me duplicate every time I went to Oakfield after that.

2)Bowerstone furniture store - same as all the others, no stock, no way to restock.

3)Floating Characters - I don't know how it happened, but it did and it does exist.

4)Westcliff shooting range - The hitboxes on a lot of the cut-outs are messed up. Shoulder and neck shots giving me 3 points, but hiting their heads only getting 1.  Ecspecially the male man with a pint of bear, shooting the cup gives 3 points.

    Re: BUG LIST - Updating

My game has been messed up after I completed the "Rescuing Charlie" quest. At the end of the quest, Charlie appeared outside the tomb but he was invisible. He was still talking to me though. I teleported away as I couldn't see him. s At the top of my screen it always says hold A to skip the conversation. I can't do this as I can't find him anywhere and now I can't open doors or chests so my game is essentially broken.

    Re: BUG LIST - Updating

I gave a second ring as a gift to my wife and now if I try to buy a new home a move in with her, it's like I'm marrying her again, I mean, I get the "marriage" video as well as two families appear in the list, both of them with the same wife, which is pretty annoying.

Also, my former family included a child, who is not appearing in the new one. In case I go to my old house, my daughter is still there, but my wife isn't (because she's on our new home).

    1)  Furniture Bug - Purchased a home, and went into "interior decorating" mode (or whatever its called). Went inside and just pointed at a few things, and clicked A to see what would happen. Decided not to change anything, and left the house. Since then, I've had the message at the top of the screen "Take this item to the furniture store,..etc.etc."

I don't see that one, but I do have a "Leave house to exit decorating..." or words to that effect, always, when I restart, next day when I turn the XBox back on, always there. I'm running around in a forrest, how far outside the house to I need to be?

I've got a rather annoying wife/house bug. Every time I go to our marital home, she is not there and I have to sleep to get her to show up. There have even been a couple of times where she would not appear and I've had to reset the game. Setting a path to her doesn't help either, as the path will flicker in and out, then disappear entirely.

While trying to redecorate this house, I've been able to replace everything except the 'Average Drawers', which seem to eat up whatever I replace it with upon reloading the home. o_O

It's the House of Hard Knocks in Bowerstone Old Town.

    Re: BUG LIST - Updating

    G o o d [Good] day,

Here are three (3) issues I have encountered in  Fable 2 :

#1)Family tracking and instant-teleport to region using the FAMILY option is disabled after moving your wife to a new town. (Medium severity - NOT A WLKTHRU BREAK)

    Steps to reproduce

-Married in Oakfield (Liz-barmaid at the Sandgoose), made the Luminous Manor (near the Mill on the Hill) the Family Home.

-Had a child, redecorated the House, spent more than 2000G on Support.

-Bought a House in Bowerstone Old Town (near the beehive - where character lived when Child).  Rented this house for a while.  Kicked out tenants. Redecorated the house.

-Had wife follow to Old Town.  Made the 2nd House the Family Home.

RESULT : When I attempt, from any region, to use FAMILY to instantly teleport to Liz's area (which is always Bowerstone Old Town - Cemetery Road), it fails.  I remain in the menu, there is no loading.  I still have control of the game, and I can then go there manually.

Workaround : Select by REGION the area designated by the FAMILY tracker, or go there on foot (of course...).

#2)Once Moved out of the Family Home, you cannot RENT it.

Is this as designed, or an isssue created by the one mentionned above?

#3)Bounty Hunter Job issue : accepting the Job without activating it.

    Steps to reproduce:

-Get a Bounty Hunter Job post.  Accept it by holding A Button.

-When the Guard hands you the Warrant (the physical animation it self), the Document will appear first in your D-Pad menu.

-BEFORE the documents automatically pops open in the interface, quickly select it by pressing Down on D-Pad.  The Document will appear.  Use Y Button to get the description. Press A to dismiss it.

-Again, quickly press START and use the REGION option to move to the target Area of the Job.

RESULT : The Job has not been activated and there are no enemies present in the selected region.

Workaround : You can physically go back to the guard, or use the JOB option and instantly teleport to the Guard with the job posting.  As soon as you come in contact with teh guard, the Document for the job will appear in the interface and the job will be accepted.

#3 is a low priority issue of course, but it is an indicator of the interface or menu's slow processing.  there are various issues of menues temporarily popping on top of each other and general lag when looking through menus with speed.

Issue #1 however is a bit bothersome.  I wonder if there will be a fix for that : especially id issue #2 is in direct link to this.

    Thank you.

    Sincerely,

    Roger (NCS).

Bug in Oakfield at the SandGoose

I went into the bar in Oakfield to talk to my wife, who was standing by the guy you pay to play a song for you, when I started talking to her the message to pay 10 gold to hear a song came up and then never goes away.  I restarted, tried hold down the A button to pay, nothing works.  I can't travel or interact with anything else because it says that I am still in a scene... Please fix, my character has a lot of money, magic and I have put a lot of time into it..... Thanks.

Re: Bug in Oakfield at the SandGoose

I loved Fable... I was expecting great things from Fable 2 and somewhere, I get them. But this is absolutely incredibly amazing to see the amount of bugs in this game. Any other third party game developper should have been rejected in approval but Lionhead belongs to MS, and it means they have the right to sell unfinished and undebugged game... WTF ? Sharing the experience with some friends I saw many bugs, from the Z one to A ones such as

    - The dog that does not respect collisions, passing through chests, fences, walls

    - My characters that is frozen in the running animation

    - Some FX that do not disappear when stopping to throw them to do something else

    - The "lock to talk" menu that is blocked at the top and only disappear if you load another zone

    - The screen that is full of XP orbs when playing coop (yes this is a bug according to me as you can not see the action at this time).

    - One of my friend lost all is money and can not sleep anymore since he canceled a quest (and then stopped playing Fable 2).

    - One of my friend that can not continue the main quest when arriving in Oakfield as the monk never speak and the cut-scene never starts.

    - One of my friend that got a baby with a wife ... while playing a ... wife (if you can explain how they do, I am sure it will interest all lesbians and gays in the real world).

    - the dog that is not following me sometimes and is just waiting

    - some enemies that are frozen I dunno why, until I smash them with my sword.

... this game is really great (I do not mention the ridiculous coop mode), but what happened to the debug part of the development guys ??? I guess MS told you "you have 2 weeks to correct all the bugs, and that is all... we will add patches later". This is crazy to doom a game on purpose.
