    Re: New article

Ya i know its not new info but reading the same info in a different "format" gives you something kinda new to read about fable 2

    Re: New article

Hmm I found this part interesting
Another possibility is if you are fighting by a cliff or balcony: you can hit the ranged attack button and hit an enemy in his leg, making him lose his footing and, hopefully, causing him to plummet to his death.

I don't think I've even read of an example like that for ranged combat.

Edit: Rethought post must sleep Sleeping [:zleeping:]
Oh yea thanks for posting it Kev Up []

    Re: New article

Guys I just want to make clear to you all that these kind of articles bring forth a lot of misconceptions and that articles like this that you read should be taken with a pinch of salt.

The last thing I want to see happening is the media writing certain things about Fable 2 (I call it their poetic freedom) and then for that to be taken as fact, people expecting to see certain things in the game and when we never planned to do that in the first place, get blamed for 'breaking promises'.

So to cut a long story short, these are innacuracies in the article:

    • If you have slain a dragon that has been terrorizing the town, the people in the town will stop you on the street and acknowledge what you have done with a gift or nice gesture. We never said anything about there being dragons. If you played the original Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters you know what the situation is with dragons in Albion.
    • The child will eventually grow up and look and act similarly to what you are doing in the game. The child will never grow into an adult, but will stay as a child forever
    • Another possibility is if you are fighting by a cliff or balcony: you can hit the ranged attack button and hit an enemy in his leg, making him lose his footing and, hopefully, causing him to plummet to his death That's not really accurate.

Now, don't expect me or anyone else on the dev team to answer each and every question on an ad-hoc basis. We have got a FAQ and several developer chats planned, media coverage will also increase as we get closer to release and all, answering most of everyone's questions.

    Re: New article

Thanks for clearing that up Sam. That ranged attack example did sound kinda off to me, now I know why.
