Well, over the last week or so, I have tried several times to try to get into my profile to change my user tag, and each time I click it, I see this:

Is anyone else seeing this? If so, is it being fixed?

It works just fine on my machine here and we haven't received any messages from people complaining their profiles don't work, which leads me to believe it's something on your end. Can you give some more details like browser, OS, version numbers etc....

The other day in the chat room when i had problems i asked how many that couldnt acces their profile 4 out of 5 couldnt acces their profile at that moment - it would be pretty damm weird if that isnt a fault in your end.

(yes both IE and firefox did the same thing)

After about 30 min it all worked again tho but i still sometimes get weird errors and half loaded sites both at my own, my dads and my schools computers.

I've never had tat, but I got the same message a few days agao when I tried to even access the site - I couldn't get in. Yes, I'm sure you all noticed that the forums were noticably lackign spam for a while... Anyway, I deleted everything (temporary internet files, history, cookies, etc.) and then it worked.

Is it possible that a cookie or something from Lionhead caused the problem, or was it a coincidence?

I get this message quite frequently. Although not so often in the last couple weeks.

Going back, pressing reload on the previous page and then continuing with the link that didn't work first, always works for me. But than again I'm using Opera as browser which is still not recognised properly by the "new" boards. The waiting for Final Opera 9.5 is getting on my nerves because I know the Beta versions already works absolutely flawless with the boards.

Erm.... IE and Windows XP.....no idea on version numbers, but I'd guess pretty high ones?

I have the same problem and thank the lord you made this thread. The first post is exactly what I get. It only happens when I try to access my own profile but never besides that. I have Windows XP, Internet Explorer, and my internet service provider is Optimum Online.

Some people (well quite a lot actually) were having troubles indeed, we resolved the issue (for now) but are still investigating what caused it.

You kinda solved it. Yesterday I was having trouble accessing the site altogether but its better now besides the fact that I still can't access my own profile.

I'm still having this issue if there are any more suggestions or if some reason for it can be given... I have tried erasing my internet browsing history....twice, defragmenting (although this wasn't the only reason for that), updating my internet, rebooting, refreshing the page repeatedly, and that's barely getting started.... I could try on another computer.... if I had one, as if it is a problem with my computer, then that almost explains it all somehow.

Anyway, I'm hoping that something'll happen so that I can access my profile again... as I want more and more to be able to change my user tag and signature...and to some extent my avatar, although that's less desperate, as well as a few other things which are even less desperate

Well the problem was fixed for me... and I just spotted that you have the exact same cause, too. Your Birthday date is off the wrong end of the scale, which for some reason is only allowed for 100 years before the current year... we both have 101 years

I'm sure it'll be easy enough to fix for you, it's probably just as simple as pressing a reset button
