Whoa! I'd remove and reinstall. Otherwise, you'd have some freaky actors for your movies. Save a couple.

Did you try updating your video card drivers? No idea if that would help, but it's worth a try.

The fatal attraction goes on This is going to sound odd, but I'm having trouble getting any elegance out of starmaker. The glamor of the starlets is escaping me. I think part of it might be the odd and limited makeup choices? Or perchance I just stinketh (to quote Shakespeare).

Here is my attempt at Jessica Alba. It's not as good as I would like as I can't get the eyes right. Star Maker doesn't have enough control over the eye shape and eyelids. Also I couldn't find any hair that fits. What do you think?

McGuffin, you get my vote for smart guy of the day (and good reputation points from me). I had already tried (before you mentioned it) to update my drivers through the windows control panel... and it said there wasn't anything new. When you sugested it again, I went ahead straight to the (video card) website and downloaded it... and now I'm up and running. Thanks for your help, Fulkster

That's why we need LH to give us 3D Exporter. Or a StarMaker plugin to convert popular 3D format into Starmaker/TM proprietory files. The hair pieces are seperate 3D meshes. And hair frame a face and give unique personality. Lack of Hair Choices was the first major "shortage" after Sims2 Bodyshop launch. Alpha maps can only do so much. The next major demand was eye and lip colors, mere texture files. Meanwhile, many skilled modders can't even get their hands on a copy of this entry level mod tool, simply because they don't live in a town with the right chain store. Set Star Maker loose.

We probably need a small plugin to bring new 3D hair meshes into Star Maker. Better still, a typical max file will do. I volunteer at least 10 new popular hair meshes. Low poly and new textures. IF I get a copy of Star Maker to begin with.

Re: Official Post Your Star Maker Faces

So far, all my actresses come out looking like Marcia Gay Harden. That seems to be the Caucasian female default. How do some of you get the new hairstyles? The styles for females are awful. Of course I've only spent 5 minutes w/the thing. I'm not very patient. I like intuitive controls. Of the ones posted here - good Hitchcock; Liam looks more like Mel Gibson to me (Lethal Weapon era), and someone did a nice Gwyneth Paltrow.

My go at Catherine Deneuve (albeit in this screen capture she looks a bit, uh...surprised). I should know by now to copy the text 'just in case'. Silly me. (And, I'd used the quick reply form to boot.) Will type again in WordPad and repost when done. My thoughts should be more focused the 2nd time, so it's not all bad.

Hey you got her smile down pad. A trimmed and botoxed Catherine Deneuve lol. Can you match eyebrow color to hair color like in bodyshop?
