    Re: New/Edited Maps Screenshots

Hmm it's kinda small, because i don't find the button for the size of the map. Maybe you can tell me how to change the size. Edit: Ah forgive me, i almost forgot to delete the borders of windows^^"

    Re: New/Edited Maps Screenshots

you can't change the size. You have to add more land. If you add a house, or a creature, you'll see how big it really is.

    Re: New/Edited Maps Screenshots

Yeah I'm guessing one of the reasons BW2 is so slow in the first place is because LH are exceeding their own poly/texture limits. Silly [:p]

    Re: New/Edited Maps Screenshots

I's not so slow with me. About 30 fps, medium. anyway, here's what I'm working on. It's a small piece of the total land.

    Re: New/Edited Maps Screenshots

I was just thinking, has anyone tried exporting the heighmap, resizing it with Paintshop Pro or Photoshop, and import again? It'll probably create some artifacts and smooth things down (or roughen things up), but it's worth a try.

    Re: New/Edited Maps Screenshots

go to the path where you've saved BnW2. Probably: C: > Program Files> Lionhead Studios> Black and white2> There should be a map called "Tools". Enter it and read the Readme.

Looking good. Only thing i could critisise about that place, is the trees look somewhat lioned, a random spread would look more natural. Gj, i cant get myself to add textures or buildings, i can only make the terrain ....

holy moly thats a GREAT IDEA what if you could drag a box over your landscape say when it is done and you can adjust the general scale of it up and down if you made a mistake that would be soo help full then i would never need to worry about scaling the size properly

Maybe in the next Patch. I hope it will be coming soon, because there are much crashing errors, that aren't listet in the tutorials.

    Re: New/Edited Maps Screenshots

I've startet a new map, because the last one was too big, it messed up with the houses and other stuff. Also i've used it for texturing exercise and now it looks like hell^^ I hope the scripting isn't that bad, because i really want to make nice quests. Maybe some poeple have interest in a mod crew?
