The good games usually take 4-5 years to make, so we'll see.

well if their mostly done that would be great, but i wouldnt mind waiting for at least a year for them to tweak it up a bit. Cause this would become like the first fable in which we all expected the rpg game to end all other rpg games and i kinda got disapointed cause half of wat molyneux said wasnt in there cause of time contraint.

i think fable 2 will hopefully be released round the ps3 release date it will ruin the ps3 sales big times considering fable is the halo of rpgs!! and well look at the prices for the ps3 and common look at sony they crappin themselfs soz for langauge but copying microsft releasing 2 styles of their console.... HAHA!! sorry but i got a x-box 360 and its worth every penny and i cant wait for fable 2!!! just seen the trailer and it looks awesome im gonna complete it like i did with fable TLC everyway i can hehe!!! :P

I'd say either Q4 '07, or Q1 '08......which ever it'll be we have ages to wait

They probably already have 60% Done.. They probably started right after TLC - Or maybe they worked on both, Fable 2, and TLC at the same time. Yet decided the Fable Story was left to unfinished, and need another part, or either they'd have to feed their fans something before they got tired of waiting for 5 years to get Fable 2. They've had atleast 3 years of work put into it. I'd say at the end of 06, or start of 07.

you do have a point there.. we dont know when they started it; it had to have been a while ago cuz they announced it and such with a trailer with gameclips and stuff. then again, its just a movie about the game.. im hoping for Christmas '06 for X360

Don't forget, the company is now being run by microsoft, not Grandmaster MolyneuX. Bigger budget now. That should speed things up a bit.

i wouldn't worry about that, a game is usually 90 - 100% before a demo is issued, that interview is very positive, i tells me that they are in the later stages of development, i say they are about 70% complete, much further than i intially thought

These days demo's rarely appear before the game has been out for a couple of months. I wouldn't judge the release date on the state of any demo. Also I don't really know how Fable would fair for a demo. I wouldn't bother if I were Lionhead.

Looking back at all of lionheads other games, it'll probably be a while. But as long as it lives up to expectations (and no doubt it will) then i dont really mind how long it takes!

i really wouldnt be suprised if it hit stores this xmas

there might be a greater laborforce than just lionhead's employees, like twice than normal now since Microsoft owns LH. the more working the faster it'll be done. If so, Christmas seems like a possibilty, or maybe early spring '07.

Hmm I had a quick look on the Amazon uk site which is mentioning october 06 as a purportedly possibly release date. So hopefully this indicates that it's nearer completion than we feared, going by the trailer I'd say it looks good at least graphically.
