     Quoting: NUNBERRY
I heard that if you manage to kill 2040 of the white Balverines that they turn into a flock of Sandgeese. I also know a guy who has a friend who's a member of a message board who's moderator was MSNed by this bloke on the internet who'd done it and confirmed that it worked.
    Anyone up for the task?
what is this I don't even

    Re: Legend of the Sandgoose

I haven't played the game in a while; those investigations I ordered gave me some good detail of the Sandgoose, but they led me to dead ends. I''ve got some time on my hands, so I might as well try it. The guards only respawn about every 30 seconds, and in small numbers; so it may take a few hours, maybe a day. Thanks for the advice Nunberry. Yet, though it may be out there, there may be no possible way to prove it, due to coding issues. But I won't get into that. The game designers are no fools; they covered up nearly all glitches in the game. Maybe they just left some glitches in the game so they gamers would keep buying Fable and they could earn a better profit. Yet, they could just be messing with our heads. I'm still thinking about that boat though. If there is any possible way to board it, it may take me to Dragon Cilffs. But I would have to somehow activate the journey. That could be nearly impossible, because just getting onto the boat will be hard enough. I haven't really looked into the fact that the Sandgoose would actually be an animal. Yet, I think I can trust that you know what you are talking about, just as everyone else who has warded me it is a living creature. Oh, and the rat issue, that is false, had a couple investigators try it; modded xbox or no. They all reported back negative. I just have one question, does anyone seem to know how the Sandgoose topic came about. If it is not real, then how did someone seem to come across its existance. Post back.

    Re: Legend of the Sandgoose

Okay i might be out of my waters since this is Fable and not TLC but Fable:TLC is basicly just Fable with added stuff so on this matter there probably isn't any difference or small if any. You're really wasting time with that whole boat thing and the sandgoose. you should talk to Keshire or Marcopolom, they've been through all the files the game has, they only found a reference to file calle Really_big_Chicken or something. Which was unused. And the boat, even if you do get on it somehow there is no scripted way to make it move. And here is the basic info on the Sandgoose and it's origins.
     Quoting: Baystone
What Is a Sandgoose? The Sandgoose is a black and white (more black than white) creature that struts around the Sahara Desert. This strange sand-dwelling goose (hence the name) listens to tourists roaming the vast desert to learn the lingo in which they speak. The Sandgoose (or perhaps Sandgooses; note spelling) are multilingual, and thus can retain many languages at one time. The Sandgoose has been known to communicate at the level of an average three-year-old child, according to rather dubious travellers. The Sandgoose, while outgoing, has not been caught on film. It's a sly bird, which can easily sense motion, so it has quick reflexes. This odd creature has no intention to be exposed to the public, and with the ability to speak it can easily overwhelm travellers with its shocking talent. There is no evidence of the Sandgoose. But despite the fact that the Sandgoose has no evidence, it has gathered many fans. The Origins of the Sandgoose The Sandgoose is actually an inside joke created by Atchoo. While Project Ego was in its early days and the world was young, Atchoo was a boy without a care in the world. In these times, a youth would just blurt out whatever came to his head and that’s what he did. He mentioned to Bat that he had adopted or seen a Sandgoose, causing Bat hours of searching through libraries and the net apparently, without any positive results. At this, Bat enquired to Atchoo if he could actually give him any information on this mysterious beast, to which Atchoo just laughed and could not believe a simple joke could be taken so far... little did he know the full extent. Atchoo grew enamoured with his creation and began doing things like referring to it over the internet, and posting posters around his school with the phrase, 'Have you seen this bird?' But now you may ask, how it is that BBB and Lionhead took knowledge of this made up bird. Well, when Atchoo went for testing the first time at BBB, he mentioned this joke to Dene Carter and it didn’t take long for him to want to implement this beast in Project Ego. Well, with the becoming of Fable and the speed of word of mouth, Peter and many other people knew about this bird, but very few actually know why and or how it originated…

Ahhh...Such old, and yet awesome news. But you are right Glacius. Fable:TLC is just Fable+1 ExpansionPack (Big Expansion pack). And... ...I thought it was more white. Oh well. Black does mirror the heat of the light and what not.

Actually it's black that absorbs the heat and white reflects it.

that really big chicken sounds an awful lot like the true end of the chicken kicking competition. Using the **** call while wearing the grand chicken hat during the contest was supposed to summon a giant chicken out of the sea that's powered by two men. It would come up on the beach on the other side of some boulders and then smash through the boulders and expose the two men operating it.

I believe you, and I am sure everyone else who has played the game and finished it does too. In fact, it was supposed to be a part of the game, but the designers cut it for some unknown reason. It can be proven by venturing to the Gray House Cellar and reading the scrawled parchment she holds in her hand. Who knows, maybe there is still a way to prove Lady Gray guilty of her foul crime. But let's try to stay on topic.

    Re: Legend of the Sandgoose

Only left tlc By the way, in tlc, you have to talk to the man imprisoned in Bowerstone north and agree to help him, then go to barrow fields to find a depressed man standing next to the demon door, talk to him and he'll tell you if you agree to help him to use the lamp three times in a certain spot near the grey house, go do this and a spirit will appear, follow the ghost into the cellar to watch a cutscene and then lady grey will give you one more chance, say no to lady grey and take the parchment to the guard captain in bowerstone north and you can become mayor

Why do you bother coming here? Every time you say something, Glacuis, Roscruix me or one of the other oldbies comes along a says that it's not true, thereby wasting your time making it up. I mean, if you want to, then fine. Just not here, please?

That's all fine and dandy Xathyn. And even though it's not made up this time, please note the following mistake.

Even though you've left you're still talking about it. This quest wasn't in the original Fable and you say you know that. It's fairly pointless posting that here... or in your case posting at all. Have a nice day though. Classic [:classic:]

This is in either copy of the game. In bowerstone north there is an unbreakable window. You can smash it and there's still a pane of glass. It's in the house to the far right on the 2nd floor right corner. Also if you look at the stained glass next to the big clock, you can see a strange pattern in the glass as if it could fall off and one of the walls along here glitches like it weren't real.
