name: sgt erif number: 124 backstory: a little known hero of the blood angels chapter, he lost his entire squad when he was sent to investigate a machine cult in hive city nerones. After he found it was a necron cult he called for backup before going with his squad to recon the area. it turned out that there was half a necron army in the underhive. he took out a necron lord before he could escape but lost all his men. he now commands a small scout strike team. three squad members (nameless dudes who can die) have bolters, silenced boltpistols and combat knives. one member has a sniper and i have a bolter, silenced boltpistol and a powersword

the floor of the clearing is covered with dead guants and nid warriors. erif looks from a cave halfway up the cliff at the swarm of bugs below him. He turns to his two remaining marines. "guys, weve got to find a way back to the camp to help the commander. we dont stand a chance of surviving if we stay here and even if we suicide charge we'll hardly make a dent in that fu***ng army of bugs." "sarge theres no way out of the cave other than the entrance and if we try and climb to the top of the cliff we'll get shot to pieces." "yea i know, we need a distraction, lars get your sniper ready..."

Gasaton ran as fast as he could to commander Thule. "comander! commander! ive lost my squad to the locust!"

lars waited on erif's orders till the hive tyrant was standing right between two of the mines. its head turned slowly, reaching the cliff it began to look up, upon reaching the cave the tyrant slowly began to aim its venom cannon at the cave. a flash of silenced fire. and the mines went off. EDIT: (ooc, thought i'd add a bit more, just saw dante's post) the hive tyrant went up in a massive explosion of high pitched screams and smashed carapace. "now!" erif screamed and the three men began to climb up the cliff. meanwhile a near smashed radio on the floor began to emit static..

Thule knew the cleverness of Erif, he did not have to worry about Erif and his men. He smiled when he saw the explosion, and tried to contact him.

*After hiding from the grenade Daniel threw, Captain Ryker came out of his hiding spot from a small hole he found at the battleground, and viewed the entire area. Daniel's squad was eliminated, and many corpses rotted with a stench Ryker couldn't even bear. He walked around the pale faces of the corpses on the ground, and heard a moaning sound. It was another soldier, dieing in agony on the ground. Blood angel: Hey, who's there? Captain Ryker: It's Captain Ryker, are you hurt soldier? Blood angel: I'm dieing, Ryker. I've lost too much blood. Captain Ryker: We can take you to a hospital! Come with me, soldier! Blood angel: No! Just kill me where I lay. I experienced too much fighting, Captain. Can you put a dieing man to sleep? Captain Ryker: If that's what you wish, Soldier. Captain Ryker had tears coming out of his eyes, but he aimed his gun at the dieing soldier on the ground, and hesitated for a moment. When he felt ready, Ryker shot the dieing soldier in the head. Blood flew everywhere, and Captain Ryker came over to him, and shut his eyes. *

erif and lars reached the top of the cliff while the tyranids below were in disaray after the loss of there closest synapse creature. nameless dude was shot down as he climbed up the cliff. "ill always remember youre name nameless dude! but lars we gotta keep goin. cmon. if we follow the cliff along we'll be able to get to the base camp without having to fight those freakin bugs again. dont how were gonna get in though, its pretty much surrounded." everything was calm for a moment in the main post. the locust had stopped invading and it seemed saf once more, until the ground started to move. "Its an earthquake! everyone grab on to something!" but it was no earthquake. Cheesus had successfully infiltrated the enemies main base under ground and seet off the explosives. He sent a call to the radio. Everyone was ok and the plan had not failed. But this was it now. All the orcs, locust, and everyhing else in their area began to go into a frenzy and attack the blood angles. "Ryker! where is that jungle you were talking about?! we need to move our troops there. they will be safer when guarded by the thickness of the jungle.
