haha! just remember that pm said you will have to provide for your family, and an army of starving bones probably will not be good for your alignmentWink [;)] but i agree, it would be cool to 'recruit' your children and train them in your heroic -or vilinous - ways and then send them out to do what they do.... hmmm, what if you were evil and you had a bandit 'toll' stop set up somewhere in brightwood, perhaps you could send your sons to work the 'toll both' and return to you with earnings of a hard days theivingWink [;)]

Is there any chance that your kids will grow up to resent you, like if you and your wife get a divorce.

haha... your right that he's right so training them isn't a great idea, anyone got any suggestions as to how your offspring will live out the rest of their lives? it would be kinda weird if all they did was run out the door and hug you at age 45, will they get to have a family of their own? or a business or home? oh are they just there... i think that they should not nessisarily be trained by you but should be affected by your allignment and choose a career dictated by that, so they might try and become a doctor, or hang by that dark cornor on the alyway where all those people are dissapearing "no officer i didn't see anything!"

Pah! Beat them for showing such soft, weak emotions. I want my children to march up to me, grab me by the collar and demand food (and a cessation of belt-related discipline), to which I will respond by eating a dozen pies in front of them and possibly swinging my axe at furniture while screaming about how hard I work and how ungrateful they are not to realize I'm not depriving them, but teaching them humility... If they are incapable of such action/AI, I'd settle for their cringing and cowering at the sound of my footsteps heading toward the door (before I kick the door down and demand bloody sacrifice for my Axes of Evil [Evil]). As stated before, I expect 'Ma to be equally stern with them. "No dinner" and "Yes spanking" if they fail to rob or beat at least one villager per week. Dessert if they manage to kill a few traders in the woods. They might get a puppy if they manage to decapitate the traders with an arrow. Oh the joys of Good [Good] parenting.

I always imagined the system of having “heirs.” Meaning there’s a chance in your adventures or through the natural course of time that your character will die! Your son/daughter will take over from you and their skills will vary depending on what you taught them as they grew up. I know it’s a little silly, but a guy can dream can’t he?
For some reason Birdo clearly has the voice of a Japanese man in this trailer. It's like... eating a cake. You expect the cake to be delicious, but when you bite into it, it sounds like a Japanese man. See what I'm trying to say here?

apparently LH thought up the same idea and was in the proccess of testing it... the only problem was that the testers started "reproducing like rabbits" because each kid was essentially an extra life, so they scraped the idea -at least to the extent of my knowledge-

Ha! Isn't that the truth but should your child start out a bit smaller like makeing other kids from shcool disappear and making their teachers disappear for the town guards to find bit and peice later in the woods.

btw this marriage and loving -things made me thinking age rating of this game. What we have already heard, I'm sure rating will be something "very mature" (17+, 18?) and that is acceptable. A game which encourages to have babies isn't for 12-years old peeps. Sex, violence, alcohol.. (blue mushrooms Silly [:p]) I'm glad I'll be 18+ when the game is released Wink [;)]

Well Petir said in some interview that your kid takes you as his example and follows your path of alignment. But you got very good point, if players character is very evil and his kid grows to be righteous then he would become as enemy of player. It could happen that way depending what environment teaches to your kid. Its sounds very hard thing to accomplish.

i wonder what happens if your evil during your kids growth and then suddenly have a personality change? would your child follow you down this new path or oppose it and shun you for taking it.

    Re: Marriage and babies

I`m too lazy to read so I`m just gonna throw in this statemnet I said in the past,
     Quoting: blckhrt1plyr
I think the kid will want to copy you if your good father even if your a terribly person generally. So basically if your good dad but general @$$hole he`ll be one too but if you bad person and father he should seek to end your evil reign.I wonder if the game will allow you to have multiple children but only make the first born important?I also wonder how he might be as an ally(If he likes you).I think it would be good if Lionhead made him work like Goofy and Donald from KH.You know, you never have full control but you can decide his/their battlestlye and change his equipment(And he never dies he just passes out).I imagine it be embaressing if everyone founding out his daddy dressed him.Hopefully Lionhead will make sure it`s not creepy and only let you choose real armor for him instead of dresses.(Unless they introduce females and he is a she.)Oh,wait maybe at some point(or throughout) in the game your character gets thrown in jail and temporarly you control his offspring to break him/you out(Again if he likes you.If he hates you he`ll let you rot).Uh,all these pronouns are making me dizzy.
And about pregnant women, once the child is concieved or when her belly starts to swell I think their should be a cinematic showing the character hanging out at home `till her water breaks, then the screen goes blank and you hear the babies first cries.Happy [:)]

Wasn’t the last one 15+? Probably mainly because there was some actual blood and you could decapitate the heads of bandits with one well placed arrow/bolt shot Wink [;)] I imagine Fable 2 will be roughly the same in terms of adult content, like the last we probably don’t see sexual activities, it’s just implied, I’m thinking it will also be 15+.

I think I recall an official statement in PC Gamer saying they’ll love you no matter what.

I don't know what was rating for Fable, but Fable: TLC got Mature (M, 17+) because it contained blood, sexual themes, strong language and violence. Games could sometimes be very affective like for example Godfather.
