And so the final day has come, and soon it will be time to announce on today's Roger and Ken Show the winner of the Roger Thong Movie Competition 2008.

And it's time to unveil the prizes for this year's competition:

First place:

Not sold in any store at any price!

A unique, one-of-a-kind Roger Thong.  A true collector's item!




Second place:

Ubernewbie has graciously donated Uber's Big Bag o' Mods - What's in it, you ask?  Well, he told me I could "catalogue" them myself, but just skimming through I see spaceships, cars, props of different kinds (including a slot machine for you degenerate gamblers out there), costumes, and more!  Pictures of many of them are undoubtedly in Uber's Enigma Promo Thread and scattered throughout the Mod Showcase forum.  With this pack, you will rule the world!

Third place:

A $25 dollar (or the equivilant in your heathen currency) gift certificate from the online store of your choice (that, of course, offers emailable gift certificates....Amazon, for instance).

And remember, there are no losers in the Roger Thong Competition!  Just people who didn't win!

Stressed?

The Winners!

I do have to say that this was the most outstanding batch of movies we've ever had in the Roger Thong Competition, and each year it becomes harder to chose which should win.

Our first place winner:

MarvellousGuppiMovies - Thongacalypse Now - Will Guppi ever make a better movie?  Who can say, but this one is absolutely hilarious, and has more in-jokes then you'll probably catch the first time through.  Funniest scene?  It's a toss-up, but this movie has a bunch of laugh-out-loud moments.

Our second place winner:

Elbowlow - The Tail of Cassidy - A side of the old west you've perhaps not considered.  Poetically written, well acted by BlazeLeeDragon, and amazingly, Elbow's first TMO release.  You'll never look at a cowboy the same way....

Our third place winner:

Andy_inc - My Song By the Thongs and Roses - Made and released before the contest was even posted, Andy has gotten sweet payback by making a Roger Thong movie that wasn't pulled AND was a winner.  No thong for him this year, but I'm not sure he's the thong type...or maybe he is....listen to that singing....

And a huge round of applause for all of the entrants, who provided entertainment above and beyond - each and everyone one of them is worthy of a look, because every one of them is going to give you a laugh - I guarantee.

Biggstrek - Underpants Away 1 - Not...technically...a Roger Thong movie, but if you haven't seen it, what is wrong with you?  You don't like funny?

Dude123456 - Curiousity My Name Is Thong - Creepy and disturbing, it's like Gumby on acid...if Gumby and Pokey were poptarts.

Cipherusmad - No Sex For You - Great writing, great performances, and some of the best lines in any of the Roger Competition movies.  Thinking about buying a Roger Thong?  Think again....

Great movies, guys - check them out if you haven't seen them.  And while you're watching, ask yourself:  how well do I know my neighbors....what kind of undergarments are they wearing?  And when you turn on the TV, imagine...under those pinstripe pants of Barack Obama and John McCain, beneath Hillary Clinton's pantsuits....is that a flash of a Roger Thong?

It's everywhere.
