    Fan-fiction question

Has anyone started/created a fanfic that takes place after TLC? I've got a Plot in mind, but I kinda want to be original... or at least one of a few...

    Here's my idea so far...

Time frame: 20-30 years after the fall of the guild.

Main character: Female descendant of Archon.

Plot Line: her Father was the Hero in TLC that made the E v i l [Evil] decision at the end. Her father is, ultimately, responsible for the fall of the guild. He ran for the better part of 20 years before settling down in some remote distant land (possibly SnowSpire, possibly Samarkand, possibly something I make up, idk). He has a family and all but forgets his old ways, somehow making amends with his E v i l [Evil] past and becoming, more or less, G o o d [Good] for the sake of his family... These are all things she will find out during her journeys. The main story will open up with her being in her mid-twenties, but does not take place solely at that timeframe of her life. There will be a lot of flashbacks, and a lot of back-breifing as the story progresses.

Here are my requests; 1) I'm no G o o d [Good] when it comes to names, especially medieval type names, monikers are easier though 2) I'm not sure if, after I begin the story, I should add it to this post, or start a new topic (clarification plz?) 3) What 'distant' land should I begin in?

    Re: Fan-fiction question

I think you'll find that this time frame you're suggesting is quite popular on this forum, but what makes each of these stories special is the way it's written, what actually happens (this timeframe is not discussed much in either fable's, so there are plenty of possibilities out there that no one has touched yet.) If you've got a G o o d [Good] idea, then share it, originality does not always make a G o o d [Good] story remember, so don't worry too much about it.

    to your requests:

    1: I'm no G o o d [Good] at names either, so don't ask me lol!

2: I'd suggest starting a new thread, one with the title of your story as the subject, this way people don't confuse your story with a question eac time you post a new chapter.

3: start with any distant land you want, though I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in what you do with Samarkand, because not much is said about it in the game.

I'm interested to see what you do with this story,

G o o d [Good] luck with it! Up []

1 year on the forums and counting! Get it? Counting? Oh never mind...

    Re: Fan-fiction question

This story sounds like it would be interesting. lol but don't worry about the names. In Fable I see alot of modern names.

    Re: Fan-fiction question

for names i would sugest looking in the glossaries of the LotR series the hobit , and silmarillion. though many are very elvish sounding you can always mix and match.

    Re: Fan-fiction question

I was actually thinking of doing my story a little more mythological. Elves, Dwarves, etc... idk though. thanks for the input all
